every time i open synthv2 to maaaybe start working on one of my ten thousand wips i slap genbu plus on that bad boy and spend 20 minutes getting distracted by 1) how cutie genbu plus sounds and 2) how scared i am that genbu is gonna crash the program again

I seem to remember a post about how we only really see, like, three colors and the rest is our brains doing complicated calculations in post-production to get the rest of the colors. (Pretty sure it's more co'icated than my short summary of that post. Also pretty sure it was about shrimp color vision compared to human comor vision.)
Together with other bits I've learned on tumblr about how human eyes/vision work, I have the feeling we didn't actually put our vision stats in the actual vision part (i.e. color, contrast, night vision, registering movement). We might have put our vision stats in the Blender 3D version our brain are apparently running to do some serious editing and post-production things.
Not to critique evolution, but I would think orange and black stripes wouldn’t be as good for camouflage in a forest as, say, green and black would.
