So when the human first arrived to Earthbread did they brought anything that can be useful like a purse or mini backpack, at least something in their pockets? Would’ve been great to have some minor stuff to help them out like bandaids, chapstick, lotion, etc! Even human currency could be helpful, they could auction a penny or a dollar bill as some kind of rare artifact in exchange for cookie currency. Also the human could even modify their bag into a mobile home for the cookies to use when they go out for an adventure. Plus I think the cookies would be pretty fascinated to see how big the human’s stuff is compared to their size.
I like to think that the human at least has their phone, keys, wallet, or a few little pocket items that they keep with them. Like lotion or lip gloss. Maybe even ear buds if they have those with them too. Their smartphone is easily the most interesting thing they have on their person, as it holds all the information about the human and maybe even their world. Depending on how you view it, the phone can stay powered by unnatural means or it will slowly run out of battery until it becomes useless. Plus, the human has to make sure that it stays dry and that cookies don't abscond with it. I also like to think that the human at least has a backpack with certain items in it. It can be books, seeds, toys, trinkets, or anything else you can find in a backpack (like a journal or scrapbook for example). It can also carry a laptop if the human was attending school/college, which would be an even stronger version of their phone...and yes, the cookies want to steal it as well...or at least have an opportunity to research it. While it's not overly out of pocket for cookies to have some forms of developed technology, I don't think they have quite reached the level of technological advancement that humans have. (if you don't count the space colony from one of the cookie run games) I mean, can you imagine if the human that winds up in Earthbread is an engineer or scientist by profession?
There would be so many things that they know how to do just by using physics or some other form of science to help educate the cookies, as well as them getting taught the ways of magic in return. Imagine if they began to make mechs or robots, give rise to a new "kingdom" that looks like a human city (with skyscrapers and such), and they also develop a new way of governance for cookies to use. It would probably inspire a lot of cookies to revive some technologies, or broaden upon existing technology, like the cars from the Golden Cheese Kingdom or the bikes/vehicles that certain entities utilize.
The human would invent bigger airplanes, jets, rockets, and defensive turrets to help protect the new city that hails the human as the ruler (despite them mostly just inventing things and utilizing their college learned skills to improve the life of the cookies). Imagine even more improvements as well! Instead of typical candy trains, the human constructs bullet trains, trams, and other various types of transportation. Including inventing navy-grade battleships, sonar technology, computerized functions, and newer technologies that enable a better lives for their cookie subjects. I like to think that the city that the human builds to mirror their own world would become known as the "City of Innovation", as the cookies that live there have optimized how life can be in cities. Such as public transportation, numerous parks, rooftop gardens, water (or soda) filtering plants, electricity, vehicles, airports, sea ports, optimized trains, solar/hydro powerplants, and a unique political system that is primarily overseen by the human's selected overseers, whom they choose based on positive merits. However, the resident cookies rarely see the human, as they only reserve an appearance for important matters. Such as a visiting monarch from a neighboring kingdom or a political concern of great importance. Otherwise, they mostly reside in the large building that serves as the center of their city. All this becomes possible because the human either takes initiative to expand the technology in the cookie world with a degree they have, or they work with cookies to help reverse engineer their technology so that cookiekind can benefit from the technology they have on them at the time they visit Earthbread.
If the human builds up their city from scratch, I like to think it looks like this. A very solarpunk and futuristic vibe to it. The city of innovation.

Monica Lenis was in Great Exuma, Bahamas, yesterday when she caught this image of Starship's explosion. Thank you, Monica! SpaceX's flagship vehicle, #Starship - designed to take humans to the moon and Mars - exploded midair late yesterday minutes after its test launch from a beach in south Texas. Other aircraft flying over the Gulf of Mexico were forced to alter their courses in order to avoid the falling debris, which was seen by beachgoers in the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos. Starship itself was completely lost. Meanwhile, the Super Heavy booster that had launched Starship successfully returned to the launchpad and was caught in midair. In what sounds like an attempt to hand over air traffic control systems to Elon Musk’s Starlink satellite system and his AI company, Trump today said—and here are his words, as Aaron Rupar transcribed them—“We’re all gonna sit down and do a great computerized system for our control towers. Brand new. Not pieced together, obsolete, like it is, land-based. Trying to hook up a land based system to a satellite system. The first thing that some experts told me when this happened is you can’t hook up land to satellites and you can’t hook up satellites to land. It doesn’t work. We spend billions of billions of dollars trying to renovate an old, broken system, instead of just saying cut it loose, and let’s spend less money and build a great system one by two or three companies, very good companies, specialists, that’s all it is. They used 39 companies. That means that 39 different hookups have to happen. And I don’t know how many people of you are good in terms of all the kinds of things necessary for that. And it's very complex stuff. But when you have 39 different companies working on hooking up different cities at different people. You need one company. With one set of equipment. And there are some countries that have unbelievable air controller systems. And they would’ve, bells would’ve gone off when that helicopter literally even hit the same height. Because it traveled a long distance before it hit. It was just like, just wouldn’t stop. Follow the line. But bells and whistles would’ve gone off. They have ‘em where it actually could virtually turn the thing around. It would’ve just never happened if we had the right equipment . And one of things that’s gonna be, I'm gonna speaking to John and to Mike and to Chuck and everybody, we have to get together and just as a single bill just pass where we get the best control system. When I land in my plane, privately, I use a system from another country because my captain tells me, I’m landing in New York and I’m using a sys— I won’t tell you what country, but I use a system from another country because the captain says ‘This thing is so bad, it’s so obsolete.’ And we can’t have that.”
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy posted today that “the DOGE team” is “going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system,” saying that “‘experienced’ Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling.”
Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton pointed out that “US airlines had gone 16 years without fatal crashes. Then MAGA fired the FAA chief, gutted the Aviation Security Advisory Committee, and threatened air traffic controllers with layoffs. Now there have been two fatal crashes. Hope your unvetted 22-year-olds fix things fast.”
Critics of the idea of Musk taking over the nation’s air traffic control systems note that his Tesla electric vehicles have the highest fatal accident rate among all car brands in America. The average fatal crash rate is 2.8 per billion vehicle miles driven; Tesla has a rate of 5.6 per billion miles driven. On social media, “God” posted: “Thou shalt not let the foreign billionaire whose rockets blow up all the time anywhere near the air traffic control system,” an apparent reference to the January 16 explosion of a SpaceX rocket over the Caribbean that scattered debris over the region led the Federal Aviation Administration to lock down airspace over Turks and Caicos.

Evelyn Berezin in 1976 at the Long Island office of her company Redactron. She developed one of the earliest word processors and helped usher in a technological revolution. Evelyn Berezin said her word processor would help secretaries become more efficient at their jobs. Photo By Barton Silverman/New York Times.
Evelyn Berezin, “Godmother of the Word Processor!” The Woman That Made Bill Gates and Steve Jobs Possible
Evelyn Berezin (1925-2018) was born in the Bronx to poor Russian-Jewish immigrants. Growing up, she loved reading science fiction and wished to study physics. She excelled at school and graduated two years early. Berezin had to wear make-up and fake her age to get a job at a research lab. She ended up studying economics because it was a more “fitting” subject for women at the time. During World War II, she finally received a scholarship to study physics at New York University. Berezin studied at night, while working full time at the International Printing Company during the day. She continued doing graduate work at New York University, with a fellowship from the US Atomic Energy Commission. In 1951, she joined the Electronic Computer Corporation, designing some of the world’s very first computers. At the time, computers were massive machines that could only do several specific functions.

Evelyn Berezin, “Godmother of the Word Processor.” Born: April 12, 1925, The Bronx, New York City, NY — Died: December 8, 2018, ArchCare at Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center, New York, NY
Berezin headed the Logic Design Department, and came up with a computer to manage the distribution of magazines, and to calculate firing distances for US Army artillery. In 1957, Berezin transferred to work at Teleregister, where she designed the first banking computer and the first computerized airline reservation system (linking computers in 60 cities, and never failing once in the 11 years that it ran). Her most famous feat was in 1968 when she created the world’s first personal word processor to ease the plight of secretaries (then making up 6% of the workforce).
“Without Ms. Berezin There Would Be No Bill Gates, No Steve Jobs, No Internet, No Word Processors, No Spreadsheets; Nothing That Remotely Connects Business With The 21st Century.” — The Times of Israel (12 December 2018)
The following year, she founded her own company, Redactron Corporation, and built a mini-fridge-sized word processor, the “Data Secretary”, with a keyboard and printer, cassette tapes for memory storage, and no screen. With the ability to go back and edit text, cut and paste, and print multiple copies at once, Berezin’s computer freed the world “from the shackles of the typewriter”. The machine was an in instant hit, selling thousands of units around the world. Berezin’s word processor not only set the stage for future word processing software, like Microsoft Word, but for compact personal computers in general. It is credited with being the world’s first office computer. Not surprisingly, it has been said that without Evelyn Berezin “there would have been no Bill Gates, and no Steve Jobs”.
Evelyn Berezin Pioneered Word Processors and Butted Heads With Men! A ‘loud woman,’ she studied physics and found that to get to the top she had to start her own company. Evelyn Berezin later became a mentor to entrepreneurs, venture capitalist and director of companies. Photo: Berezin Family. Wall Street Journal
“Why Is This Woman Not Famous?” British Writer Gwyn Headley Wrote In A 2010 Blog Post. — The Times of Israel
Redactron grew to a public company with over 500 employees. As president, she was the only woman heading a corporation in the US at the time, and was described as the “Most Senior Businesswoman in the United States”. Redactron was eventually bought out by Burroughs Corporation, where Berezin worked for several more years. In 1980, she moved on to head a venture capital group investing in new technologies. Berezin served on the boards of a number of organizations, including Stony Brook University and the Brookhaven National Laboratory, and was a sought-after consultant for the world’s biggest tech companies.
She was a key part of the American Women’s Economic Development Corporation for 25 years, training thousands of women in how to start businesses of their own, with a success rate of over 60%. In honour of her parents, she established the Sam and Rose Berezin Endowed Scholarship, paying tuition in full for an undergraduate science student each year. Sadly, Berezin passed away earlier this month. She left her estate to fund a new professorship or research centre at Stony Brook University. Berezin won multiple awards and honourary degrees, and was inducted into the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame.

I’m listening to the Graphic Audio versions of The Murderbot Diaries today.
I’m liking what the sound effects add to the story, and I like the performance of the actor voicing Murderbot.
But I spent a lot of All Systems Red being annoyed at the voice acting choices. Other people have mentioned that Mensah sounds too young, which she does, but a much bigger problem is that Mensah, Pin-Lee, and Arada sound very similar to each other, to the point where it’s very difficult to tell which of them is supposed to be talking any time there’s a group conversation. Also, Ratthi’s voice actor either has or is doing a very heavy accent that I can’t place geographically and it is distracting every time he speaks (which, considering he’s third billed after Murderbot and Mensah, is a lot).
But I managed to power through and made it to Artificial Condition, and it is so much better! I love the audiobooks with Kevin R Free, but my one big problem with them is that I really dislike the voices he chose for both ART and Mikki. I can see why he wouldn’t want to make the obvious choice of having ART sound flat and computerized the way it does in my head when I’m reading, especially with the parallels drawn to HAL, but I don’t like the way he avoids that by making ART sound like Murderbot perceives it: snide. Constantly snide.
For the Graphic Audio recording, they’ve cast a female voice actor for ART, and I LOVE what she’s doing with the voice so far. Her performance is not completely unemotional or without personality, but it’s a much more convincing portrayal of what a machine intelligence might sound like and it just lets the character shine through so much more naturally. And the choices keep being good when we get to the collective hiring Murderbot, with Rami, Tapan, and Maro all easily distinguished from each other and well acted.
I hope the improvements continue in Rogue Protocol and that some of the odd choices with the Preservation crew get refined a bit by the time we see them again in Exit Strategy.

What Happens In Vegas Pt.1
Yeosang x fem!reader
Description: By complete chance two people from two different worlds meet in a place where the phrase “What Happens In Vegas Stays In Vegas” was born. They spend their time getting to know each other and building a bond that might lead to one of them uprooting their life at the end of the trip.
Word Count: 2454
Notes: first person POV, drinking, gambling
This vacation is more needed than I initially realized, the tension in my shoulders finally releasing enough to let my mind not focus on how this dress sits against my skin. Dressing up while traveling solo seems dangerous, but my job has me doing it in places that aren’t in my home country. The only difference is this time I’m dressing up for myself only, my job doesn’t allow me to build relationships outside of acquaintances since I’m constantly moving from country to country to find the best stories. Freelance writing always made sense to me, and now as a traveling blogger, my only real focus is finding where I truly belong.
I’m celebrating myself and my accomplishments on this trip, finally embracing the freedom I have from no longer working for anyone but myself. I plan to do that the only way I know how by experiencing the places I travel to and what they have to offer. Las Vegas has so many experiences under its glamorous look, from hidden places in casinos to well-known celebrity’s history. Of course, the only place to start is a casino, specifically the one I’m staying in.
Walking out of the elevators I can feel eyes on me, either out of curiosity, envy, or lust. I don’t blame them, I know my worth and I have the right amount of confidence that shows in my walk. My dress screams confidence too, with the black color and form-fitting design, I even stared at myself in the mirror.
Without thinking I make my way to the counter to get my casino card and put my information in the system so I can get my earnings, hopefully. The nice woman at the counter asks me, “Are you here by yourself?”
Without missing a beat I smile and answer with a small laugh, “I’m crazy aren’t I?” We both laugh together before I make my way over to the one table I know I can win at, roulette. It seems funny to have a card when I make it to the table and see they are still using chips at the table, but I know at one point I will make my way over to the computerized game so I can use my logic while being able to see the last winning hits.
The one good thing about my previous job was that I could make a lot of money and never have to use it. America feeds off of money, and that’s why I left. I would have never had any money to spare if I stayed here, and now I can have fun without worrying about how much I can and cannot spend.
Instantly I hand over a $100 bill to receive my chips and wait for the table worker to tell me when I can bet. It doesn’t take long for the table to fill up after I sit down, and my first bets use all of my money. 25 on black, 25, on even, 25 on the 2nd 12, and 25 on the 3rd column. I always start with these bets, never changing my strategy, it’s more likely to have a hit with these bets than not. I watch with a blank face as the ball spins, zero worries if I have one hit, all hits, or no hits.
Before I know it I’m being pat on the back and a smile makes its way onto my face, 24 was hit and it checked off every one of my bets. I make my next bets and continue to bump my winnings with either one hit or a few, by the time I decide to leave the table there is a crowd of people watching, wondering how a woman by herself in Vegas was winning roulette like it was a simple mobile game.
“Excuse me,” I repeat many times to make my way out of the crowd holding my shoulder purse close to me as it was full of my winnings. I try to make my way back to my hotel room to drop off most of the money as I know having a lot of money on you in Vegas is probably the dumbest thing you could do. I had a few drinks by now and the buzz was working its way through my system.
Pressing the button to go up on the elevator I wait patiently, ignoring all the prying eyes of those within the casino. Checking the time on my watch I see that it’s around 2 a.m. and mentally make a note of how long I was at the table, 2 hours. The elevator doors open and I instantly walk on thinking no one would be coming down at this hour, but I was so wrong.
My smaller frame makes contact with someone leaving the elevator and I stumble out of shock that someone would be coming down, their hands instantly grab onto my shoulders to balance my stance. “Oh god, I’m so sorry,” I say instantly and move one of my hands to push some curled hair from my face to look at the person who is still holding me steady. When my eyes meet his I realize how much this might seem like a cliche, but I can’t really care much as I do deserve to have one cute moment in my life, even if this will be the last time.
Instead of saying the simple ‘it’s okay,’ he simply chuckles at my apology and moves us to the side out of the way of the elevator as there are people behind me wanting to get to their rooms as well. The confusion builds in my mind when I realize instead of walking away he kept me at arm's length and moved us out of people's way. “I-”
“I’m not mad, I just have to talk to you more.” He admits, his hands slightly squeezing my upper arms that he still has within his grasp.
“Oh,” I pause thinking of my next words while getting lost in his eyes that draw me in. “Why is that?”
“I’m not sure, but I plan on figuring it out. I’m Yeosang by the way.” He steps back slightly dropping his hands from my arms and stretching one out in what seems like an awkward handshake. I can hear the slight foreign accent in his speech and realize he isn’t American and English definitely isn’t his first language. Although, I must admit he is pretty good at it.
I shake his hand softly, reigning in my need to show that I’m an independent woman through the interaction. “I’m y/n. You’re not from here, don’t make yourself uncomfortable on my account I hardly live in America myself.”
“Oh, good.” There is a building awkward silence and I notice he might be slightly uncomfortable in an open setting.
“Yeosang,” I say his name as a way to test my pronunciation and he seems pleased by the way I said it. “I was heading to my room to drop off something, if you want to come with you can, or we can meet up. How long are you here for?”
“You don’t mind?” I nod at his words seeing a relief flash in his eyes that makes him look adorable in contrast to his strictly handsome features. “I’ll be here for one more day.” He makes the move to push the ‘up’ button on the elevator, showing he really does want to spend more time together.
“So you leave tomorrow or the following day?” I ask to fill the empty space hoping to limit the awkward tense.
“Tomorrow,” he says, there is slight sadness in his voice that makes me look up into his eyes only to look right back at the elevators as I hear the doors ding. We both step onto the elevator leaving some space between us but more space between the other strangers who joined the ride. “What floor?” He asks looking at me as he is closer to the buttons.
“Oh, um, the top floor.” I avoid his eyes as I say that, realizing that I’m exposing how much I splurged on this solo trip. He lets out a small chuckle at my avoidance yet hits the button anyway and shuffles slightly closer to me. Onlookers would think we have known each other for years with how close we stand, but in reality, it's a shared comfort we have around each other that was instant and I only now realize it. I never felt a sense of anxiety when he touched me, only feeling apologetic for running into him, and I never felt unsafe in his presence which should be wrong, but it feels more than right.
Slowly people exit onto their floors eventually leaving us alone in the small space but neither of us moves to create space between us, we both enjoy it. When the elevator stops he lets me leave the space first, either out of chivalry or just so I can lead the way. We remain in silence on the short walk to my suite, embracing the comfortable silence that has built between us. It should be scandalous to bring a man to your room during the first time meeting, but nothing about this interaction feels that way. I open the door with my key card and hold it open behind me for him to enter, I quickly make my way to the living space to hurriedly put away the excess amount of money I have on me, hoping he doesn’t see. I never liked flaunting what I have, but I can’t lie, the independence of it all makes me feel confident in myself. I was able to afford this space and risk losing money all on my own, it feels nice.
“Funny, your room is the mirror image of mine.” He says, his confidence rising in the private space. It takes a moment for his words to register in my mind.
“You also have a suite?” I ask now turning to face his as my task is complete and standing up straight to watch as he works out the difference in the rooms.
He chuckles again and I can’t lie and say the sound isn’t attractive. “Yeah, my bedroom is actually on that side,” he points to the opposite side of the living space of my room, “and the couch is on that wall.”
“Guess you should know your way around then,” I let out my own laugh. “Do you mind if I change into something more comfortable? This dress is starting to feel constricting.”
I watch as his eyes trail over my body, taking in the details to remember before responding, “go ahead.”
I scamper over to the bedroom and rush to grab an oversized t-shirt and comfortable shorts, knowing I want nothing more than to just relax and I just hope he is okay with that after all I did today. As I go to leave the room after changing I notice the door was left slightly open in my rush and I only hope the mirror in the room did not let him see, but I can’t fight the excitement in me that slightly hopes he could see. Walking out into the living area I see he has made himself comfortable on the couch and is scrolling through his phone, but the second he sees my figure through his peripheral vision he puts the phone away and gives me his undivided attention. My heart speeds up at this.
“You don’t mind just hanging out here, do you? I know you leave tomorrow, so I hope you didn’t have any plans for the night, and if you did, you can totally go do them, I’ll just hopefully get your number an-”
“Y/n.” He cuts me off.
“I was rambling. Sorry.” We both chuckle and he pats the spot next to him on the couch silently asking me to sit near him which I don’t hesitate missing that comfortable feeling between us.
He smiles when I sit near him, “It was cute. I have no plans, I was just going to walk around because I was bored.”
“So you don’t mind hanging out here with me tonight?” I ask to settle my nerves that have finally been set free from the intoxication that is leaving my body.
“I want to be here, I told you I want to figure out why I stopped you.” He reminds me, and it makes a smile return to my face and slight embarrassment for how we met.
Without second guessing I open my phone and go to create a new contact to hand to him, I don’t want to risk him leaving and us never speaking again. It shocks me, and him. Usually, I wouldn’t mind letting someone I meet become someone I met in passing, but for some reason, the thought of him becoming that sends anxiety running through my veins. He puts his number in my phone then texts himself, and when he hands me back my phone I can’t help but smile at the name he chose. It's just his name but the emojis that follow remind me of his cute laugh, the simple blushing face, and a white heart.
“How long until you leave?” I ask.
“About 4 hours.”
I look at him with a shocked expression, “why are you awake?” He laughs, genuinely laughs at my expression while covering his mouth in the process, a little action I can already feel myself adorning.
“The travel time is more than enough time for me to sleep and readjust to the time change.” His explanation makes a lot of sense, and I understand it completely from my own travels.
“Where are you from?” The question had been bubbling in the back of my mind since I picked up on his accent, but there was just never the right time to ask.
“South Korea, have you been?” My heart stops at the revelation.
“Oh my god, it makes sense!” The way my voice picks up intensity makes him now look at me in shock but also silently asking me to explain. “Oh, sorry,” I chuckle, “I have been to South Korea many times and fell in love with the country. I was actually going back after this trip.” He makes a noise of understanding and turns to face me more on the couch placing his arm against the back, and I don’t miss the way his fingers begin to play with the curled hair that I left down.
“You fell in love with South Korea, but do you think you could fall in love in South Korea?”

YES! Yes, yes, yes, a hundred times yes. I have to add that I think EFT is both created and exacerbated by automation—the use of computers and internet in these functions. (I’m referring mostly to the first example in her essay, paying an insurance company, and similar things—making appointments, contacting doctors, etc.). Remember how computerization was supposed to make everything easier, seamless, better? Remember? I certainly do, because I’m old enough to have participated in society as an adult before mass computerization and automation. Meaning, I used things like cash and I wrote checks and I put bills in the mail. With a stamp. My point is, when tasks like the ones described in the essay are foisted off onto automated systems, everyone assumes that the thing has been taken care of, or addressed, either by another person, or by “the system,” when it most likely has NOT. So then the responsibility falls to the patient or customer, and, in the case of patients, who are sometimes physically or mentally ill, it is utterly exhausting and soul crushing to have to prove your case again and again; to have to repeat tasks in the hope that this time it will be right!
Another example I can think of is this: even when you go to the doctor that you’ve been seeing for years for something non-routine, you have to fill out a bunch of paperwork while in the waiting room, one page of which is your entire medical history (which they already have because you’ve been a patient for YEARS), as well as the reason for your current visit. Then you go in the exam room and a nurse asks why you’re in today. Didn’t they read the medical autobiography you just wrote? No? Oh, right, because it’s ALREADY IN YOUR INTERNET PORTAL, which the nurse also didn’t bother to read. So you tell them the reason. Ok, great. Doc will be in shortly. Doctor comes in. “What brings you in today?” they ask. And you do the dance all over again for the third fucking time in thirty minutes. But nobody fucking looks at your chart in the portal or on paper. Back when paper charts were the only medical records, people USED them, because there weren’t multiple options.
Long kvetch shortened: internet/computerized automation has NOT made our lives easier. If anything, it’s just another, more expensive level of complexity to navigate. And it has led to, and creates, Executive Function Theft. It’s self perpetuating.
End rant.
I think this is just a trend everywhere but I've been very frustrated this week by how much admin work is being outsourced to me as the patient/customer.
My orthodontist tells me I can make an appointment with the surgeon. I call the surgeon. They tell me I need a new referral. I call the orthodontist. They do a referral. I call the surgeon. Referral didn't come through. They tell me about their special unique system we have to use. I call the ortho again and walk them through the referral. I call the surgeon. They say the referral was missing some details so they have to do it again. I call the ortho.
The insurance company calls me about repair shops. I give them the name of the repair shop which I already gave them yesterday. They say they're not in their system but I can use them, but I have to call the repair shop to ask them to contact the insurance company. I call the repair shop and they say the insurance company is supposed to email them.
I feel like at a certain point these constant fetch quests become unreasonable?? Is it too much to expect these groups to communicate with each other instead of making me run back and forth between them???

In the age of modernization, reliable and stable water pressure is more important than ever before. It may be a residential complex, a business outlet, or an industrial facility—water supply has to be efficient, effective, and uninterrupted. This is where the EBARA Hydro Booster System enters the picture—a sensible, energy-efficient, and high-flow solution that will ensure consistent water pressure for any type of application.
In this blog, we will examine the EBARA Hydro Booster System closer, understand how it functions, what its functions and advantages are, and explore why it is one of the best technologies in water boosting.
What is the EBARA Hydro Booster System?
The EBARA Hydro Booster System is a future-type water pressure boosting system of EBARA Corporation, a world-leading pump technology company. The system typically consists of several pumps in parallel, which are automatically controlled with the help of a pressure sensor and control panel. It is generally applied to provide constant water pressure to high-rise buildings, residential estates, hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, and factories.
Why You Need a Water Booster System
Low pressure water is a real hassle. It is taking a shower and getting just a trickle of water or attempting to run equipment that demands constant water pressure and receiving substandard results. These are issues in structures that are distant from the origin of the water or on elevation.
The EBARA Hydro Booster System solves all these issues by delivering the necessary water pressure and sustaining it at all times, irrespective of the fluctuations in demand. The system is computerized and maintains each outlet to receive proper water flow.
Main Features of EBARA Hydro Booster System
Energy Efficiency
It requires only the power it needs to produce pressure. With variable frequency drives (VFDs), it varies pump speeds based on demand, saving plenty of energy.
Automatic Operation

Reliable Design
EBARA produces durable and long-lasting equipment. EBARA Hydro Booster System is constructed with corrosion-resistant materials and excellent quality stainless steel to provide long life and no maintenance.
Smart Control Panel
The smart control panel is installed in the booster system for easy control and monitoring of the system. It can also be integrated into building management systems (BMS) for remote monitoring.
Compact and Space-Saving
It is a floor-space-saving system that occupies little floor area. This is particularly useful for utility rooms or small spaces where there is little room.
Advantages of EBARA Hydro Booster System
Consistent Water Supply
With the utilization of EBARA Hydro Booster System, the clients have continuous and reliable water pressure in the building regardless of showers or taps being utilized.
Less Maintenance Cost
Due to the rugged components and auto controls, maintenance is minimized in the system, resulting in money and time saved.
Better Comfort and Convenience
To an apartment dweller or a hotel guest, a well-functioning water pressure enhances total comfort and user satisfaction.
Better Property Value
Well-engineered water systems value-adding because they are more attractive to potential buyers and lessees.
Environmental Friendly
The system saves energy, thus low electricity bills and low environmental strain.
Applications of EBARA Hydro Booster System
Residential Buildings: Provides each floor sufficient water pressure.
Commercial Complexes: Ideal for shopping malls, office complexes, and entertainment resorts.

The Digitization of Patient Records through EHR Software Is Perhaps the Most Intelligent Move You Could Plan for Your Clinic
Paper records were always part and parcel of the medical practice. But as clinics grow and patient demands also rise, managing files manually disappointingly becomes a daily challenge. Is your office currently working on paper? Then you are looking at data getting lost, delays, or errors. The great thing? A better way does exist.
EHR software handles record-keeping much more easily, gives better access to those records, and improves patient care. Let us look at how digitizing patient records using Clinthora's EHR software—an integral part of any modern clinic management software—can change your clinic setup, especially for healthcare providers in India and Dubai.
Problems with Paper Records
Paper files may appear simple, but they mostly create problems:
Lost or misfiled
Unclear handwriting
Requires physical storage space
Slow in data retrieval
No remote access
These issues culminate in slowing your staff down, and then there are patient care incidents being compromised. It is not just a slog; it is life-threatening.
What Is EHR Software?
An electronic health record is a computerized platform for storing, managing, and securely updating patient records. It manages in one place patient history, prescriptions, lab reports, diagnoses, and even doctor notes.
With the Clinthora EHR system, every piece of information is arranged and easily accessible either inside the clinic or at a remote location.
As a core part of any healthcare management software, EHRs keep clinics organized and compliant.
Benefits of Digitizing Patient Records
1. Instant Access to Information
You no longer have to search through folders or wait for someone to bring a file. Patient records are accessible with a few clicks.
2. Secure and Compliant
Clinthora’s EHR software meets healthcare regulations in India and Dubai. Data is encrypted, stored safely in the cloud, and only accessible to authorized users.
3. Better Patient Care
With updated and accurate information, doctors can make faster, more informed decisions. EHRs also reduce medication errors and missed allergies.
4. Seamless Collaboration
If your clinic has multiple doctors, EHR allows them to collaborate better. One doctor can view previous visits, notes, and lab results without needing to ask others.
5. Remote Access
Consulting from home or another clinic? No problem. EHR software lets you access patient records securely from anywhere.
6. No Paper Clutter
Forget filing cabinets. Everything is stored digitally, which means your clinic looks cleaner and runs more efficiently.
Why Clinics in India and Dubai Are Adopting EHR Software
Healthcare in India and Dubai is evolving fast. Patients expect a higher standard of service. Regulations are getting stricter. Doctors are busier than ever.
EHR software is no longer a luxury — it’s a necessity.
In India, medical compliance rules now require better record-keeping and patient data security.
In Dubai, DHA mandates proper documentation and digital health records for audits and compliance.
Clinthora helps clinics stay compliant while improving operations with its all-in-one clinic management software.
Clinthora’s EHR Software: Built for Clinics Like Yours
Clinthora offers a powerful, easy-to-use EHR system made specifically for doctors and clinics:
Simple interface that staff can learn quickly
Customizable templates for different specialties
Automatic data sync between appointments, prescriptions, and billing
Built-in lab and prescription management
Patient history timeline so you can view full treatment journeys at a glance
It’s part of a complete medical practice management software that ensures every clinic process — from scheduling to reporting — is connected and efficient.
Improved Efficiency at the Front Desk
When records are digital, front-desk staff don’t waste time pulling files or confirming handwritten notes. Instead, they can:
Check patient history before appointments
Update records in real time
Speed up check-in and check-out
Reduce waiting time for patients
Front-desk staff can manage more patients with less stress, using the same online clinic software system for bookings, reminders, and billing.
Better Communication with Patients
With accurate records at hand, clinics can:
Send appointment reminders
Share prescriptions digitally
Notify patients of follow-ups
Educate them with digital reports and instructions
EHR software supports better relationships between your clinic and your patients. And with Clinthora’s integrated tools, you get features like patient engagement software, SMS notifications, and teleconsultation support — all synced in one place.
Multi-Clinic and Multi-Doctor Ready
If you manage multiple locations or have a team of doctors, Clinthora’s EHR software makes coordination simple. You can:
Access all clinic data from one dashboard
Assign patient records to specific doctors
Review inter-branch performance
Whether your clinic is in Delhi, Dubai, or expanding across both, the system grows with you.
Clinthora’s platform is scalable, making it perfect for multi-location clinic management.
Stay Ahead with Real-Time Insights
Clinthora doesn’t just store records — it helps you learn from them. Built-in analytics let you:
Track most common diagnoses
Identify gaps in follow-up care
Review doctor and department performance
Analyze treatment outcomes
This kind of data turns your clinic into a learning, growing business. With our healthcare analytics software, you get insights that lead to action.
Data Security You Can Trust
Patient trust is built on confidentiality. Clinthora uses
Role-based access controls
Data encryption
Automatic backups
Audit trails for all activities
This ensures that your electronic health records system is secure and that your clinic stays compliant with Indian and UAE medical data laws.
Integrated Billing and Reporting
EHR software isn't just about patient records — it connects directly with your billing system too. With Clinthora:
Generate bills based on treatment notes
Process insurance claims easily
Track revenue in real time
Export financial reports instantly
All of this is part of our full-featured online billing software, designed to save time and reduce errors.
Conclusion: Clinic Management Software that Works for You
Digitizing your clinic’s records with a reliable EHR software is one of the smartest moves you can make. It reduces human error, improves access, and creates a better experience for both doctors and patients.
Clinthora brings everything under one platform — EHR, billing, scheduling, and more — with a clean interface that’s easy to use.
Whether you're a solo practitioner or running a chain of clinics, our complete clinic management software keeps your operations smooth, compliant, and ready to grow.
Clinthora helps you provide care with confidence.
✔️ Smart Records ✔️ Fast Workflows ✔️ Strong Compliance
It’s time to leave paperwork behind and step into the future of care.

Why Modern Businesses Can’t Live Without Call Center Software
Every day, millions of customers call businesses seeking help, answers, or reassurance. Yet behind every seamless conversation is an often-overlooked hero: call center software. If you’ve ever dialed into a customer support line and experienced quick routing, helpful agents, or a perfect callback, chances are you’ve benefited from this powerful technology.
But “call center software” can feel like a dry, technical term—something relegated to IT departments and CIOs. The reality? It’s a living, breathing ecosystem that shapes how we connect, empathize, and solve problems in a digital age. Let’s dive into a human-centric view of why modern businesses need robust call center software, how it has evolved, and where it’s heading.
Beyond Dialing: The Human Connection at the Core
Imagine you’re a new parent anxious about your baby’s first cold. You pick up the phone, dial the pediatric hotline, and within seconds, you’re speaking with a compassionate voice who understands. That agent didn’t just press random buttons. They likely relied on call center software that instantly pulled up your account, past inquiries, and the hospital’s triage guidelines—allowing them to answer your concerns with speed and empathy.
That’s the beauty of modern systems: they enable real-time context. When agents see historical data—past support tickets, billing details, or even a customer’s emotional sentiment analysis—they can tailor their response. This isn’t just efficiency. It’s human connection, fueled by technology.
How Did We Get Here? A Brief History of Call Technology
Quick refresher for context: once upon a time, call centers were literally rows of phones, sticky notes, and manual logs. Agents shuffled paper forms and scribbled customer details on yellow pads. Metrics were tallied by hand. The process was slow, error-prone, and impersonal. Today, that concept seems archaic.
The first generation of call center software emerged in the 1980s with rudimentary Automatic Call Distributors (ACD). These systems would simply route incoming calls to the next available agent. In the 1990s, computerized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools allowed agents to see customers’ past interactions. Fast-forward to the 2010s—and we have cloud-based, AI-augmented platforms that handle omnichannel support (voice, email, chat, SMS, social media) all in one dashboard. It’s been an evolution of integration, automation, and intelligence.
What Makes Modern Call Center Software Different?
Let’s break down the key pillars that distinguish today’s platforms:
Omnichannel Integration Customers expect to reach out on their terms—whether that’s a phone call, text message, social post, or video chat. A best-in-class call center software consolidates these channels into a single interface. Agents don’t need ten different windows open; they simply click through a unified view of each customer’s journey.
Real-Time Analytics and Reporting In the past, quality assurance meant managers randomly listening to recorded calls. Now, intelligent systems analyze every interaction for sentiment trends, call resolution times, and agent performance. Dashboards update in real time, enabling supervisors to spot bottlenecks—like high call abandonment in certain hours—and make immediate adjustments.
AI-Powered Assistance Speech recognition, natural language processing, and automated chatbots handle routine queries—freeing agents to tackle the complex, emotionally nuanced issues. For instance, if you’re calling your bank to dispute a fraudulent charge, a chatbot can verify your identity and gather preliminary facts, then escalate you to a live agent who already knows the details. That synergy between human and machine is the hallmark of contemporary call center solutions.
Cloud Flexibility Gone are the days of massive on-premise hardware racks. Cloud-based call center software is scalable, cost-effective, and accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. In a post-pandemic world, remote agents can log in from home, coffee shops, or co-working spaces, without missing a beat.
Real-World Impact: Stories Behind the Screens
Take a regional healthcare provider that implemented a modern call center software platform last year. Before the upgrade, patients faced 20-minute hold times and repeated paperwork—often needing to re-explain symptoms to multiple agents. The new system changed the game. Patient data was instantly available, calls were prioritized by urgency, and clinicians could schedule follow-ups directly within the platform. As a result, patient satisfaction scores rose by 35%, and hospital readmission rates dropped by 12%. That’s the kind of direct, measurable impact today’s call center solutions can deliver.
Or consider a fast-growing e-commerce brand. Peak season used to be a nightmare—call volumes spiked, hold times soared, and carts were abandoned. After migrating to a cloud-based call center software, they introduced automated callbacks, AI-driven self-service menus, and predictive staffing tools. Holiday stress? Reduced by 60%. Customer retention? Climbing steadily.
Choosing the Right Call Center Software Partner
With so many options available, how do you pick the ideal solution? Here are some guiding questions:
Scalability: Will the platform grow with your business? Can you add new agents, languages, or regions without ripping and replacing?
Integration: Does it seamlessly connect with your existing CRM, ticketing, and knowledge-base tools? Or will you spend months merging data silos?
Omnichannel Support: Are voice, email, chat, and social channels natively supported—without costly add-ons?
Customization: Can you tailor IVR scripts, agent scripts, and automated workflows to reflect your unique brand voice?
Security and Compliance: Does it meet industry standards—HIPAA in healthcare, PCI DSS in finance, GDPR in Europe?
Remember, selecting a vendor isn’t just a software purchase. It’s a partnership. The right call center software provider becomes an extension of your team—offering strategic guidance, training, and optimization best practices.
The Human Element: Agents Are at the Heart
In all the talk about technology, it’s easy to forget one simple truth: customers still crave genuine human interaction. A well-designed call center software platform doesn’t replace agents; it empowers them.
When agents have a single view of customer history, real-time guidance on next best actions, and AI-suggested knowledge snippets, they aren’t scrambling for answers. They can focus on listening, empathizing, and problem-solving. Imagine being on the other end of the line. Hearing a calm, informed voice who already understands your issue—that’s the difference between frustration and loyalty.
In fact, many top-tier platforms offer built-in coaching modules. Supervisors can whisper best-practice prompts to new agents during live calls, ensuring consistent service quality and faster onboarding. That level of support doesn’t just boost customer satisfaction—it builds agent confidence and reduces burnout.
The Future: AI, Automation, and Beyond
What’s next for call center software? Brace yourself—hybrid human-AI teams are just the beginning.
Emotion AI: Systems that gauge caller mood through tone analysis. If a customer sounds frustrated, the call is escalated to a specialized “tact team” trained in de-escalation.
Predictive Analytics: Not only analyzing historical call data but forecasting spikes in inquiries—for example, identifying a potential product defect trend before it goes viral on social media.
Voice Biometrics: Secure, frictionless authentication that identifies callers by voiceprint, drastically reducing “forgot my password” hang-ups.
Augmented Reality (AR) Integration: Remote troubleshooting where an agent guides customers through visual overlays on their smartphone camera—imagine replacing a filter in a home appliance while the agent sees exactly what you see.
These innovations won’t replace human agents—they’ll make them invaluable by offloading mundane work and augmenting their skills. That’s the promise of the next wave of call center software: true human-AI collaboration.
Final Thoughts: Embrace the Evolution
The journey from manual switchboards to AI-powered, cloud-based omnichannel hubs has been nothing short of extraordinary. And while the phrase “call center software” might sound utilitarian, in practice, it’s the engine of empathy, efficiency, and excellence in customer experience.
Whether you’re a small business trying to stand out, a healthcare provider aiming to reduce patient anxiety, or an enterprise looking to optimize global support operations, investing in the right call center software isn’t optional—it’s a strategic imperative.
So next time you find yourself on hold—or, better yet, speaking with a knowledgeable agent—remember there’s a symphony of technology behind that moment, allowing genuine human connection to shine through. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about routing calls; it’s about building trust.

How Transport Management System Revolutionizes Delivery Accuracy and Customer Experience in the Middle East
The logistics landscape of the Middle East is as vibrant as the region’s fast-emerging economies. The Middle East has busy downtown areas like Dubai and Riyadh, as well as large rural spaces. This region presents unique challenges and opportunities for companies that want to deliver efficiently and accurately. In an age where speed and transparency expectations from the customer are taking off, a solid Transport Management System (TMS) is no longer an indulgence but a basic requirement for enhancing delivery precision and taking the customer experience to new heights.
The TMS Solution: Transforming Delivery Operation
A transport management system offers the cyber infrastructure to overcome these difficulties and to greatly enhance delivery precision. Here’s why:
Smart Route Optimization: Finding the shortest path is common in old systems. A modern transport management system uses real-time traffic data. It also looks at past delivery trends and driver availability. This helps create the best routes. They have unspecific addresses with advanced geocoding, so drivers can easily get to the destination. Dynamic rerouting helps the system deal with unexpected delays, like traffic or accidents. It guides drivers to a new route while keeping the delivery schedule on track.
Real-Time Visibility and Tracking: This is probably the most critical capability of delivery accuracy. A TMS offers end-to-end visibility by shipment. Dispatchers are provided with real-time location of the vehicle, driver, and delivery status on a computerized dashboard. Such preemptive monitoring enables intervention at one go in the event of deviation or delay, averting trouble ahead.
Automated Load Planning and Dispatch: Planning manually takes too much time and is human error. With a TMS, trip planning is done automatically with intelligent clustering of deliveries by destination, weight, and volume. It makes the best use of vehicles, cuts down on empty miles, and improves delivery grouping. This leads to more deliveries per shift and fewer missed attempts.
Digital Proof of Delivery (POD): Skipping paper POD, a Transport Management System allows drivers to digitally sign, capture images, and even describe failed deliveries using handheld devices. This gives immediate, precise proof of delivery, lowers contention, and simplifies billing.
Accurate deliveries are the foundation of an exceptional customer experience—crucial in today’s competitive business environment.
Proactive Communication: With real-time visibility, a Transport Management System can push automated email or SMS notifications to customers at each point of the delivery experience—from dispatch through “driver on the way” and successful delivery. This transparency gives assurance and allays fears, reducing incoming customer service calls.
Accurate ETAs: With real-time information and predictive analysis, a transport management system provides very accurate estimated times of arrival (ETAs). Customers prefer to be able to know exactly when their package will arrive so that they can better plan their day.
Self-Service Tracking: Branded customer portals allow the receiver to track their shipments themselves, eliminating the need for customer service calls for status.
Fewer Missed Deliveries: By streamlining routes and providing real-time driving directions, a TMS minimizes missed delivery attempts by removing the frustration of packages that never arrive and the hassle of rescheduling redelivery appointments.
Flexible Delivery Choices: Some advanced TMS software programs are even capable of offering customers the option of rescheduling or rerouting to a different pick-up site, providing greater convenience and control.
Middle East-Wide Benefits of TMS
How Transport Management System is adding value to Middle East Logistics
Cost Savings: The optimized routes result in lower fuel consumption. Increased efficiency provides the ability to make more deliveries using an equivalent number of vehicles, potentially minimizing the need for fleet growth. Fewer errors and conflicts also translate into fewer operating costs.
Scalability: As Middle East e-commerce continues to grow at an ever-faster rate, a cloud-based TMS can only be scaled to accommodate higher volumes of orders without incurring significant infrastructure expense.
Greater Compliance: A TMS is able to manage border problems and customs documentation and offer home regulation conformity.
Data-Driven Insights: The platform collects massive amounts of data about delivery performance, driver behavior, and route optimization. It uses this data to identify bottlenecks, improve processes even more, and make data-driven business decisions.

Why is a medical records system important in healthcare?
In the healthcare industry, a medical records system is crucial because it facilitates the safe and easy storage, management, and access of patient data. A computerized health records system allows physicians and nurses to easily locate a patient's test results, medications, allergies, medical history, and previous treatments in one location. This results in better patient care, fewer mistakes, and quicker and better decision-making.
Improved communication between healthcare practitioners is another benefit of medical records systems. Every doctor who treats the patient is on the same page when all records are up to date and available instantly. In emergency situations or when patients see several specialists, this is quite beneficial.
Additionally, by saving time and minimizing paperwork, these solutions increase efficiency. They also support billing, appointment scheduling, and guaranteeing adherence to medical rules.
Modern hospitals and clinics must utilize a dependable and easy-to-use electronic medical records (EMR) system.
