Hinata Shouyou is such a Spiderman-core character, they even call him Spiderman in the show once, so of course I can’t stop playing with the AU idea. Cause I keep thinking about an AU where everything is the same, everything is still set in Miyagi and Karasuno High School, it’s just that Hinata has a Spiderman side gig going on, and the kagehina rivalry blooms as always until the day Hinata saves Kageyama from a villain and realizes just. the complete switch up in personality.

Because of course Kageyama isn’t going to be all grumpy and sour faced in the presence of Spiderman. He may be single-celled but he’s still a teenaged boy and every teenaged boy loves Spiderman. Spider-Hinata picks him up to get him out of danger and Kageyama looks at him with bright eyes and that wobbly smile he only gets when he’s about to jump serve. Full-on, “Oikawa-senpai can you teach me how to serve” expression.

Hinata: Wait, did you just thank me? You’re not gonna say “Spider-boke, let go of me! You suck!”, or something?

Kageyama, alarmed: No?! Who’d talk to Spiderman like that?!
