15:05 – London Low Line
The rain falls in thin, translucent sheets. The smell of a Quarter Pounder, of sesame oil and tallow, is transported down the street in brown paper bags. The air is fat with the image of patties on a hot plate and the primitive urge to turn into the warm, yellow outlet. At the restaurant front, a young girl sits beside a life-sized doll, still boxed. Both don pigtails. She feeds the doll and then herself. The McDonald’s arches flash reflections about the wet – dictated by the light and movement in the street. Once in a puddle, flash, then in the book shop window, flash, superimposed over the upper deck of the 188. The yellow arches zoetrope over an approaching taxi, the opening door.
15:14
Like pound coins, the discard of bottle caps shine amongst the shrubbery bed of a five-story estate. The hinge along a corridor of bin storage doors swings open – Number 13, a single mottled mattress, a nest of coats. A man saunters out between cars, yelling a corridor of expletives. His teeth jar like a series of muddied castle battlements.
15:16
Cross Bones Graveyard, a post-medieval burial ground on Redcross Way. The gate is weighted with weather-worn trinkets, ribbons, and bug-eyed soft toys. The shrine lies a mile from the Shard – its needlepoint obscured in cloud. The bodies of 15,000 prostitutes, paupers, single mothers, suicides, and lost children lie beneath the cement. Denied a Christian burial, the outcasts were piled upon a former plague pit.
15:17
“Individual 99”
This is a replica of a 16-year-old girl’s skull. It was the 99th skeleton found at Crossbones. The hole in her skull was caused by third stage syphilis. Third stage syphilis only occurs after 8-10 years of continually sexually contracting syphilis.
The bronze-cast skull shows an opening as large as my hand. The eye sockets collect with rain.
The quiet corners sit with cross-legged plastic skeletons, pallid-faced Marys praying, fake flowers burying themselves in the earth. A rusted studded wristband lies amongst the coppers of funeral garb. A browned pipe leans against a flock of china geese. The ‘Winchester Geese’, the derisive name given to the brothel (stew) workers, were licensed, and taxed under the Bishop’s religious ordinance. Geese – birds that flaunt their white chests to mate.
15:22
A CCTV camera surveilles the dead. Above an electricity cable box, a sign warns: DANGER OF DEATH. Below, a small man victim to a large lighting bolt.
15:25
And well we know, how the carrion crow doth feast in our Cross Bones Graveyard – John Constable, 23 November 1996
15:27
Borough Market: £15.50 Wild Mushroom risotto is slopped into warm styrofoam. The olfactory of rosemary, wet deodorant, and rubber. Mushrooms grow from fungal spores that thrive in damp, dark conditions. They require a medium that is high in decaying matter.
15:31
Turning left, a crowd of college students bid on another good night. The women preen in the window of an off-licence. The acrylic signage promises Ting drink in unfamiliar flavours. A bus surges water atop the pavement and the group move on.
15:34
With the wind, the purple flower spike of a Buddleia pokes to and fro between the window of a hollowed house-front. It gingerly crawls back through the window frame like fingers. The hardy plant has been recognised as London’s symbolic shrub. It was the first plant to grow amongst bombsites after The Blitz. A Rumour: Romans brought it to England from the Himilayas in their sandals.

Technology used
We have used rotogravure printing in an industry.
Rotogravure printing:Rotogravure printing is frequently used to print on packaging materials as bread wrappers, polythene packs, milk pouches, soap wraps, and other pliable packaging materials. Because more and more of these packaging products are being used, rotogravure printing is becoming more and more important.
Components of a rotogravure
The engraved cylinder:This is one of the key components of the gravure planting machine, sometimes referred to as the gravure cylinder. The image you wish to print is typically engraved on the cylinder. The cylinder surface will be bent into cells through etching. The various diameters of the cells need to be carefully specified. The ink will be transported to the cell in order to be transferred to the substrate. In this instance, the substrate is paper. Large, deep cells are a fantastic choice for colors that are darker and more intense, and vice versa. Steel or plated copper are the usual materials used to make these cylinders. Moreover, ceramic gravure cylinders are in demand.
Rotogravure Ink:The ink fountain is the component where the ink is stored. It is then transferred to the cylinder carefully and precisely.
Doctor blade assembly:The doctor blade's job is to take away extra ink from the areas that aren't etched. An assembly of doctor blades is also present on the engraved cylinder because it has multiple cells on it. Before the ink is applied to a printing plate, the blades can also produce a homogeneous layer of ink. Keep in mind that standard doctor blades used in flexographic and other printing processes are usually not very expensive.
An impression roller:It is the imprint roller's responsibility to exert pressure such that the entire substrate makes contact with the cylinder. The substrate is sandwiched between the impression roller and the gravure cylinder. Therefore, the impression roller aids in ensuring maximal and uniform coverage.

Metallic thread is metallic yarn + polyester or rayon twisted or crochet filaments, mainly used in computer embroidery and craft accessories, used in handicrafts, fashion, embroidery, gift packaging and other industries and knitting wool, yarn, knitted fabrics, warp knitted fabrics , woven fabrics, clothing accessories, decorative fabrics, sofa releases and other products, it is an ideal lining raw material. The processed and woven cloth and clothing present a sense of elegance, generosity and magnificence. However, because the metallic yarn is made by vacuum-plating aluminum or vacuum-plating silver on the polyester film by physical methods, and then coloring and processing.
Therefore, the chemical properties of metallic thread are unstable and cannot be used like ordinary textile fibers. The aluminum film in the gold and silver wire is not resistant to alkali; the silver film is not resistant to acid, and the silver film will turn black when exposed to sulfide, and stretching or heavy friction will cause the metal plating to peel off. Traditional gold and silver wires are divided into flat gold wires and round gold wires. Glue gold foil on paper and cut into thin strips of about 0.5 mm to form a flat gold thread, and then wrap the flat gold thread around cotton yarn or silk thread to form a round gold thread.

- Choose the right project: Things like scarves, cowls, and hats are all good choices.
- Go up a needle size: Because metallic yarn is typically quite thin, you'll want to go up a needle size (or two) when using it. This will help prevent your stitches from becoming too tight and makes working with the yarn much easier.
- Be careful not to split the yarn: Splitting the yarn can be difficult to avoid when using metallic yarn, so just be careful and take your time. If you do happen to split the yarn, simply use a crochet hook or needle to draw the two ends back together again.

But luckily, the demand for such custom products is also increasing. In fact, personalized laser-etched jewelry is one of the most popular products on online marketplaces like Etsy.
In this guide, you will learn how to start making money with your laser engraving business. So whether you want to work from home or manage your finances while doing something creative, you can do it with laser engraving.
How To Make Money With Laser Engraving A Home Business Before starting laser engraving, there are a few things to consider. First of all, what is the difference between laser engraving, laser etching and laser marking?
atomstack r3
Laser engraving is similar to laser etching in that both techniques remove a bit of the object. The difference is how deep the laser removes a portion of the product's surface. Instead, laser marking is a technique that can best be described as discoloring an area of an item.
Next, when you want to start a laser business from home, the first thing you need to do is do your research. in particular:
How to Find the Best Laser Engraver for Your Budget Where will you set up your home office What kind of design do you want to make (freestyle or pre-made templates) Which products do you want to engrave on How you will market and sell your final product
Before buying a laser engraver, with prices ranging from $200 to $10,000, you should consider which products you sell. Not all laser cutters are suitable for any type of product, which is why it is important to know exactly what you need to buy before investing.
 atomstack a5 pro
In the video below, Garage Vlog explains how to make money by laser engraving leather with a CNC laser cutter. This is a popular choice for engraving DIY products, crafts, leather goods, clothing, and more.
Laser cutters come with or without preinstalled software. With preinstalled software, your creative options may be limited as you can only use a specific set of designs and fonts. Another way is to find a laser engraver that can be used with your software so you can send your custom designs etc directly to your engraver from programs like Adobe.
Size/Power
When searching for a laser engraver, you will often see "bed size". This refers to the maximum bed area - or print area - where you can engrave any one object. If you work at home with products like jewelry and DIY crafts, you won't need anything bigger than you can fit on your desk.
Laser Engraved Gifts
For industrial purposes (i.e. commercial signs, large plaques, etc.) you will need something larger that will need to be stored in a garage or shed.
Material options
One of the most important aspects to consider before buying a laser engraver is what products or materials it can be used with. There are several types, in particular:
Fiber Engravers - Metal, Plastic, Aluminum Mixing machines - mainly for organometallics and materials CO2 Laser Engravers – Jewelry, Stainless Steel, Rubber Stamps, Wood, Paper Green Laser Cutter - Silver, Gold, Plastic, Glass, Ceramic, Copper connectivity
How the laser engraver is connected to the computer, printer, etc. is another important deciding factor. Most engravers come with USB ports and smartphone Bluetooth connectivity, but be sure to double-check before you go all out.
Laser engraving machine product concept Therefore, it is clear that the value of ordinary products increases as long as laser engraving is used for personalization. Actually, it's about 400%.
This means that the market opportunity is huge and you can quickly make a profit after investing in the equipment. In many cases, business owners, large and small, see a great return on investment within the first 1-6 months of investing in a laser engraver for their business.
Laser Engraving Ideas
Here are some product ideas that can be carved to make money:
ballpoint pen photo frame dog tag cup plaque, trophy wooden sign stainless steel plate Jewelry (i.e. rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings) Wedding Gifts Ceramic products Bamboo Kitchenware rock, crystal wine glass Leather goods (i.e. notebooks, jewelry, clothing) furniture decoupage

And when you read others doing all these things its can really get to you. However there are a huge number of things yo CAN do to counteract the depression. Lets visit a good many of these things:
1) Everyone’s first Go-to is Roleplaying. Be its table-top or online. But not all Online games bring out the true desire to adventure, as they are limited to telling a specific story. As such I suggest avoiding using game maps and make you own real maps. Right down and study any runes in the game, study the magic tech in the game, write side stories of your character that can not be done in game. Create a history to the character you made. Some games are limited what you character looks like. Draw your own character and hang it by your game station.
2) If you have adventure wear, wear it about the house/apartment. Does not have to be all of it. Boots, a shirt, a vest, tunic, wristbands, cloak
3) If you  have the money and talent turn kitchen into a tavern or saloon, line shelfs with bottles and plates and other tavern/saloon wear. Avoid cheese props. Study movie sets and get ideas from that.
4) Likewise turn your bedroom into an Inn room. Go ristic and simple with natural colors and materials
5) Burn in a cauldron or censor wood chips, herbs and incense,
6) Hang posters of nature about the walls in natural wood frames. If you can obtain some old wood window frames, you that as your poster frames. If possible find images of nature on line and print them out. Try to make all the images co-inside, so its looks like you are looking out into the same view. Change the posters with the seasons if possible
7) Place realistic life-size animals about your home: Snake, turtle, mice, birds, chipmunks, insects. If you have a ficus tree or a cluster of plants, place a birds nest with eggs in it
8) Play sound effects and ambient sounds in the house. Youtibe and other sites have a plethora of ambiance and sounds from cave to camp sites, tavern sounds, market squares, pirate ships, forests
9) Add a fountain/s in your home. Fountain pumps can be bought anywhere these days,
10) Terrariums! Make them and add them to your home. Even of the plants are fake
11) Aquariums! If your adventurous aestheic love is the see or any water setting like ponds, these are fantastic to have. And do not limit yourself to just fish: Crabs, snails, turtles, frogs, lizards, snakes. Even if you are not allowed to have pes, build an aquarium anywhere. The flow of the water from the filtar moving the plants can lend to the imagination
12) Wood, tin and copper and wrought iron objects
13) Leather bound books. Line a shelf with them,
14) Candles and lanterns. Some people can not have things where they live for safety mode. Even if you never burn them, have a cluster of candles anyway. Just the look of lanterns and candles plays with the mind. You can also invest in battery ones but I think they are silly looking
15) Bowls of fruit: Wood bowls and real fruits and nuts about the house.
16) Seasonal and year round garlands and wreaths about the house. Clusters of ferns. If you do not have a green thumb, go fake if need be. Ferns and spider plans are my fave.
17) Drift wood and moss covered wood.
18) If you have your own Adventure clothes and gear do not bury it in a closet. Get a mannequin and display it,
19) Fur, leather, blankets, wool, sheepskin throws and pillows.
20) Banners and tapestries
21) Invest in a couple of mortar & pestle sets, one for the kitchen and one for the bathroom is you have the room. (Confession: I collect them)
22) Hang herbs and dry plants in the kitchen.
23) Clay pots and assorted pottery about the house. Try to sick with OLD looking styles. Check out some sites or books on ancient styles for an idea
24) Antlers add a wonderful feel to ambience. Even if fake. Now they are made into door handles, draw knobs and so much more. (DO NO go hung deer and elk JUST for their racks)
25) Bowls and vases of snail shells, acorns, pine cones,
26) Rolls and displays of maps,
17) Glass and Ceramic bottles: Display a few or better yet, use them! fill them with shampoos, liquid soaps, drinks and what ever else you use and look at daily
18) Old style dip pens and ink vials on your desk along with scrolls of parchment and an old leather bound journal,
19) Color glass baubles like the ones at christmas time and “witch balls” These are great if your Aesthetic is the sea or in the Witchy profession,
20) Wood wand display. Not talking about Harry Potter here. Do a little reserach and find or make a REAL one. Display it on your desk or mantle staff. If you have a set, even better.
21) A Statue of an ancient god,
22) Baskets and wicker to hold things
23) Metal goblets and drinking horns
24) If you have one or several hand your shields on the walls,
25) Oil hurricane lamps,
24) Hang and display Gourds about. If you know how to carve and stain gourds, all the better,
25) Birds houses. In the house?? Sure, why not?
26) Feathers. Sometimes just a vase of ling feathers helps. If they are feathers you find in your walks, just as better. Each one has a story
28) Bowls of rocks. Not only does this bring the natural world in but its said that a bowl of rocks by the door and window wards off negativity.
29) Old wood boxes. Just do not collect them but USE them. put whatever in them as storage. Afraid you will forget what’s in it??? All the better. There is your treasure at the end of your search.
30) Corn dollies. These folk cultural dolls and designs have their roots into the ancient world. a display of them, especially during the late summer, really invokes the harvest season
31) Ceramic and wood bake ware in the kitchen. Ads a rustic tavern feel. This could include   bread boards and bowls, wood spoons, rolling pins,
32) Replace DVD covers with parchment or wood texture covers. Sometimes a wall of game and DVD cases can kill an ambiance you are striving for. If you can not print out all these coves, hang a tapestry over your shelf unit or add wood shutter doors
33) Cover your library of bright color books with leather, paper of plether, No access to leather? See of someone has an old leather jacket they are ditching you can cut up
34) Wood flutes, harps, ocarinas, pan pips, lyres and rustic drums add to a great tavern-ish display.
35) A tall vase of cattails gives ambiance for this that over adventures in places like rivers and lakes,
36) If you have a collection of crystals, sea glass and gemstones, show them off in a wood box or basket,
37) Halloween Witch bottles add to the adventure appel. (I have a buhnch and have all my teas in them,
38) Fancy yourself an Librarian or treasure seeker? Have a display of “artifacts” like (potters, tiles, scales, bones, glass, wood), Find some broken pottery shards and make them look like Greek pottery. If you sculpt make a remnant of a state or a bone or prehistoric tooth. Create your own artifacts and put stories to them.
39) Hang a bunch of leather sachets and small bags from a hook or sit them on a shelf,
40) Find yourself a rustic tea set,
41) Collect vintage clay and wood tops. Tops have been around since ancient Assyria and Babylon.
42) Display a collection of carving tools or depending on your likes, a small anvil and hammer,
43) Hand on hoots of rack by your door or wall woven wicker hats, leather caps and witch/witch hat, head wreaths,
44) Display an old stick/straw/grass broom head wreaths,
45) Display a helm or helmet you have in a place that speaks “I am at the ready”
46) Fold a small stack of old burlap bags and place on a shelf and use them to store things like potatoes and onions,
47) Display and basket of wood knitting needles and wool,
48) Grow plants, flowers, herbs and small trees. Even small pots of just grass adds a sense of nature and Adventure (The ancient Greeks would grow grass for their New Years Eve celebration) I have lemon trees in my windows I grew from seeds.
49) A Fish Net works great to add an aesthetic look to your space.
50) If nothing more find an artist and have him/her draw your aesthetic self as you see yourself in different poses, gear and situations. Blow thing up power size and hang them about your space
51) If you can not do any of this, create a physical scrap book of pictures and images that’s screams your aesthetic ideals. Visit it daily and add to it.
NOTE: While all these ideas are great starts, DO NOT over do it. Less is more. Rustic and simple. Avoid cheesy plastic props and things like signs screaming “I am a Proud Viking!” Investigate films, movies and history into your aesthetic loves and the world behind it. Do not create clutter. Make you space livable and function to your NEEDS. Make you space your home, not a museum. If your space is cluttered and does not bring you a feel of your Aesthetic feelings you may need to pull back on some of your props.

A view of acrylic
Acrylic plastic refers to a family of synthetic, or man-made, plastic materials containing one or more derivatives of acrylic products acid. The most common acrylic plastic is polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), which is sold under the brand names of Plexiglas, Lucite, Perspex, and Crystallite. PMMA is a tough, highly transparent material with excellent resistance to ultraviolet radiation and weathering. It can be colored, molded, cut, drilled, and formed. These properties make it ideal for many applications including airplane windshields, skylights, automobile taillights, and outdoor signs. One notable application is the ceiling of the Houston Astrodome which is composed of hundreds of double-insulating panels of PMMA acrylic plastic.
Like all plastics, acrylic plastics are polymers. The word polymer comes from the Greek words poly, meaning many, and meros, meaning a part. A polymer, therefore, is a material made up of many molecules, or parts, linked together like a chain. Polymers may have hundreds, or even thousands, of molecules linked together. More importantly, a polymer is a material that has properties entirely different than its component parts. The process of making a polymer, known as polymerization, has been likened to shoveling scrap glass, copper, and other materials into a box, shaking the box, and coming back in an hour to find a working color television set. The glass, copper, and other component parts are still there, but they have been reassembled into something that looks and functions entirely differently.
The first plastic polymer, celluloid, a combination of cellulose nitrate and camphor, was developed in 1869. It was based on the natural polymer cellulose, which is present in plants. Celluloid was used to make many items including photographic film, combs, and men's shirt collars.
In 1909, Leo Baekeland developed the first commercially successful synthetic plastic polymer when he patented phenol formalde-hyde resin, which he named Bakelite. Bakelite was an immediate success. It could be machined and molded. It was an excellent electrical insulator and was resistant to heat, acids, and weather. It could also be colored and dyed for use in decorative objects. Bakelite plastic was used in radio, telephone, and electrical equipment, as well as counter tops, buttons, and knife handles.
Acrylic acid was first prepared in 1843. Methacrylic acid, which is a derivative of acrylic acid, was formulated in 1865. When methacrylic acid is reacted with methyl alcohol, it results in an ester known as methyl methacrylate. The polymerization process to turn methyl methacrylate into polymethyl methacrylate was discovered by the German chemists Fittig and Paul in 1877, but it wasn't until 1936 that the process was used to produce sheets of acrylic safety glass commercially. During World War II, acrylic glass was used for periscope ports on submarines and for windshields, canopies, and gun turrets on airplanes.
Acrylic plastic polymers are formed by reacting a monomer, such as methyl methacrylate, with a catalyst. A typical catalyst would be an organic peroxide. The catalyst starts the reaction and enters into it to keep it going, but does not become part of the resulting polymer.
Acrylic plastics are available in three forms: flat sheets, elongated shapes (rods and tubes), and molding powder. Molding powders are sometimes made by a process known as suspension polymerization in which the reaction takes place between tiny droplets of the monomer suspended in a solution of water and catalyst. This results in grains of polymer with tightly controlled molecular weight suitable for molding or extrusion.
Acrylic plastic sheets are formed by a process known as bulk polymerization. In this process, the monomer and catalyst are poured into a mold where the reaction takes place. Two methods of bulk polymerization may be used: batch cell or continuous. Batch cell is the most common because it is simple and is easily adapted for making diy acrylic key chain sheets in thicknesses from 0.06 to 6.0 inches (0.16-15 cm) and widths from 3 feet (0.9 m) up to several hundred feet. The batch cell method may also be used to form rods and tubes. The continuous method is quicker and involves less labor. It is used to make sheets of thinner thicknesses and smaller widths than those produced by the batch cell method.
We will describe both the batch cell and continuous bulk polymerization processes typically used to produce transparent polymethyl methacrylic (PMMA) sheets.
The mold for producing sheets is assembled from two plates of polished glass separated by a flexible "window-frame" spacer. The spacer sits along the outer perimeter of the surface of the glass plates and forms a sealed cavity between the plates. The fact that the spacer is flexible allows the mold cavity to shrink during the polymerization process to compensate for the volume contraction of the material as the reaction goes from individual molecules to linked polymers. In some production applications, polished metal plates are used instead of glass. Several plates may be stacked on top of each other with the upper surface of one plate becoming the bottom surface of the next higher mold cavity. The plates and spacers are clamped together with spring clamps.
An open comer of each mold cavity is filled with a pre-measured liquid syrup of methyl methacrylate monomer and catalyst. In some cases, a methyl methacrylate prepolymer is also added. A prepolymer is a material with partially formed polymer chains used to further help the polymerization process. The liquid syrup flows throughout the mold cavity to fill it.
The mold is then sealed and heat may be applied to help the catalyst start the reaction.
As the reaction proceeds, it may generate significant heat by itself. This heat is fanned off in air ovens or by placing the molds in a water bath. A programmed temperature cycle is followed to ensure proper cure time without additional vaporization of the monomer solution. This also prevents bubbles from forming. Thinner sheets may cure in 10 to 12 hours, but thicker sheets may require several days.
When the plastic is cured, the molds are cooled and opened. The glass or metal plates are cleaned and reassembled for the next batch.
The plastic sheets are either used as is or are annealed by heating them to 284-302°F (140-150°C) for several hours to reduce any residual stresses in the material that might cause warping or other dimensional instabilities.
Any excess material, or flash, is trimmed off the edges, and masking paper products or plastic film is applied to the surface of the finished sheets for protection during handling and shipping. The paper or film is often marked with the material's brand name, size, and handling instructions. Conformance with applicable safety or building code standards is also noted.
The storage, handling, and processing of the chemicals that make acrylic plastics are done under controlled environmental conditions to prevent contamination of the material or unsafe chemical reactions. The control of temperature is especially critical to the polymerization process. Even the initial temperatures of the monomer and catalyst are controlled before they are introduced into the mold. During the entire process, the temperature of the reacting material is monitored and controlled to ensure the heating and cooling cycles are the proper temperature and duration.
Samples of finished acrylic materials are also given periodic laboratory analysis to confirm physical, optical, and chemical properties.
Acrylic plastics manufacturing involves highly toxic substances which require careful storage, handling, and disposal. The polymerization process can result in an explosion if not monitored properly. It also produces toxic fumes. Recent legislation requires that the polymerization process be carried out in a closed environment and that the fumes be cleaned, captured, or otherwise neutralized before discharge to the atmosphere.
Acrylic plastic is not easily recycled. It is considered a group 7 plastic among recycled plastics and is not collected for recycling in most communities. Large pieces can be reformed into other useful objects if they have not suffered too much stress, crazing, or cracking, but this accounts for only a very small portion of the acrylic display case boxes plastic waste. In a landfill, acrylic plastics, like many other plastics, are not readily biodegradable. Some acrylic plastics are highly flammable and must be protected from sources of combustion.
The average annual increase in the rate of consumption of acrylic plastics has been about 10%. A future annual growth rate of about 5% is predicted. Despite the fact that acrylic plastics are one of the oldest plastic materials in use today, they still hold the same advantages of optical clarity and resistance to the outdoor environment that make them the material of choice for many applications.
With so many options for clear plastic on the market, it is no surprise that lots of people misunderstand the differences between the types. Each type is made in a different way using different materials, which results in many different price points. We've put together this resource page to help sort out some of the most frequently asked questions, like "is acrylic a plastic or a glass?" and "what is the difference between acrylic and plastic?". While acrylic is a plastic, not all plastic is acrylic. The term "acrylic" represents a family of petroleum-based thermoplastics made from the derivation of natural gas. Another common name for acrylic is "polyacrylate" which is one of the most common types. This material is made from Methyl Methacrylate (MMA), Poly Methyl Methacrylate, or a combination of both.
Although the composition is pretty much the same, acrylic has many brand names. Plexiglas was the original trademark name when the Rohm and Haas Company first introduced the product to a mass market, but many others have established their own brand names including Lucite by du Pont and Acrylite by Evonik Cyro LLC. Some other common brands are Perspex, Oroglass, Optix, and Altuglass.Injection molded acrylic is manufactured by injecting acrylic or polymethyl methacrylate material into a mold. This transparent thermoplastic makes a great alternative to glass, which is why it is commonly used to manufacture bakery bins, sunglasses, and display risers. Unlike polystyrene, injection molded acrylic table number plate can be made without the issues of hazing or coloration. Additionally the material is much stronger and has minimal relief markings when removed from the mold. Injection molding takes less labor than hand-crafting, which results in a lower cost.

The Governess and The Doctor’s Hunt for the Copper Beeches 2/4 | Sherlock x Reader
Prompt: Music
Fandom: BBC Sherlock
Words: 1299
A/N: Continuation with the first part. So this turned out to be a mini series... oops.
-
The train ride wasn’t as bad as you thought and once you had hopped off, you were confident on riding the train back home. The next challenge was to find your way to the address that John and Sherlock had sent you. Pulling your coat around you tighter to block out the morning cold, you waved down a cab and climbed in.
You repeated the address to the driver before sitting back to check your phone. Only one message from Mrs. Hudson to keep you informed about Rosie. You felt bad having to leave Rosie home, given that it was technically your job to watch over her when John wasn’t around. But John was missing, and you didn’t want to drag Rosie around, especially when it has to do with her father’s disappearance. It’s safer for her to be with Mrs. Hudson.
The taxi pulled up before a market area, an array of shops and events opened and was already buzzing with activities. You paid the driver and climbed out and made your way over towards the lampposts the marked one of the entryways into the area.
You glanced down at the paper, your hurried scribbling of the address written out. The address was followed by a number, which you assumed was the shop that you had to find. Scanning through the windows of the shops, you wished that you could bring Rosie over next time to check the shops out. She loved going out and exploring and while Sherlock offered to take her out on a trip, John didn’t trust him to take her somewhere child friendly. Honestly, what would they do without you and the women in their lives?
The numbers were nailed to the side of the store front, rust lining the edges of the metal plating. It was a used bookstore with piles of books on display at the wide window that was bordered with sprayed snow left from December.
You entered the bookstore slowly, the small bell tingling and alerting your arrival. A gray mass of curls popped out from the back room, a friendly smile on her face as she greeted you. She made her way to the counter and leaned forward.
“Morning!” she said.
“Morning.”
“Looking for anything in particular? We just got a recent set of donations stocked up.”
“Um…” You frowned, scanning the rows of bookshelves.
The message only had the address of the bookstore and the word ‘Start’. You assumed it meant to start searching for clues. Now that you were there, you didn’t know where to start looking. Maybe the clue is in the word or maybe he had left something with the store owners?
“Has a man with dark curly hair, a long dark coat, and high cheekbones stopped by sometime this month?” you asked her.
She hummed, before exclaiming, disappearing into the back room again. You waited patiently, eyes browsing the nearby cart. You had skimmed through three books when the owner came back with a medium sized leather bound book.
“It’s paid for,” she said, “He told me that someone fitting your description would come by to pick it up.”
“And how long ago was that?” You grabbed the book and read the golden engraved title. It was what you have been meaning to read for a long time.
“I think about two weeks ago,” she said.
“Okay, thank you!”
You tucked the book under your arm, heading off for a place to eat. With a sandwich and a cup of tea laid out in front of you on a table outside of a cafe, you flipped through the book, scanning for anything out of the ordinary. Halfway through the book, a small piece of paper fell out.
“Follow the music,” Sherlock had written.
You finished up your brunch and tea, cleaning up before heading towards the square where many buskers were performing. They arranged from accordion to cello, all in their own corner with small crowds surrounding each one. You walked towards the center, trying to figure out which one to check first.
You checked your phone again. Rosie had finished eating, but she was getting restless without you there to play with her. You texted Mrs. Hudson back that you will be there before dinner.
After the text was sent, you heard a familiar song playing on the opposite side of the square. A young woman was playing the violin. You made your way over, hearing the song that Sherlock would play for you when you’d lounge on their couch or in his chair while you read a book.
You walked around the crowd, getting a good view of the violin player. She had her eyes closed as her hands did the magic. You’ve been meaning to ask Sherlock for lessons, but you were afraid that your incompetence would frustrate him, like how he used to snap at the police officers during cases.
You dug out a couple of bills and dropped it into her violin case. The music came to an abrupt stop as she opened her eyes. She flipped her violin over and gently peeled a piece of paper from the back before handing it over to you. Once you grabbed it, she continued to play as if the exchange had not transpired. You checked the time again and decided to head back home. This was enough to know that the boys were asking for help.
The message was coded similar to the first one, but you needed Sherlock’s books to help you out. While you could try to search it up on your phone, you doubt that the formatting would be the same. So, for the rest of the train ride home, you read the book Sherlock gave you.
Five chapters in, you paused, a nagging feeling in your brain telling you to check the message again. This was different. Would it be that easy for it to be hidden within this book?
You took out a pen and notepad from your bag and went to work. This was why overthinking would get you nowhere. By the time the train arrived in London, you were just about finished decoding it. You leaned back in your chair and sighed. How many more clues were there?
Just like you promised, you reached home before dinner. Mrs. Hudson had Rosie down in her flat as she prepared food. You popped in to check on them before climbing up the stairs for a quick shower and change of clothes. You tucked the clues into the book and placed it on your bedside table, your fingers lingering on the engraved cover. You didn’t think Sherlock would remember something like this, or was this just coincidence?
The next day, you rushed over to the hospital, greeting the staff who were used to yours and the boys’ visits. Molly was in her lab as usual, filling out a report with a tub filled with a clear liquid and a human body part. She briefly looked up, smiling when she saw you.
“So…” You started. She raised an eyebrow, wondering what you were up to now. “I was right.”
“About?”
“There is more than one message,” you said, dropping the book on the table, away from all the equipment, of course. You flipped it open and showed her the pieces of paper you found.
She looked at it and sighed, putting her pen down. “You left by yourself, didn’t you,” she said in a motherly tone.
“Well… “
“It could have been dangerous, (Y/n)!”
“I know, I know, but I just needed to make sure. What do you say? You want in?”
Molly huffed, knowing that you were winning. “Well, I can’t let you do it alone, can I?”
You grinned. “Great! The game, Doctor Hooper, is afoot!”

Front glass (56mm) / Rear glass (58mm) / Lens Height (103mm) / Flange outer dimension (108mm)
Serial # 5057
Holmes, Booth & Haydens began in 1853 with the partnership of Hiram W. Hayden, Israel Holmes and John C. Booth in Waterbury Connecticut. The firm was incorporated on February 2, 1853. Henry H. and James A. Hayden were also associated  with the firm, hence plural Haydens in the company name. Holmes was in charge of the rolling mill; H.W. Hayden was in charge of the manufacturing; and H.H. Hayden was in charge of marketing.
The company was engaged in casting, rolling and drawing brass and copper. They were the first to make planished copper-silver plates for daguerreotypy.
While Israel Holmes started with the Scovills in 1820, Hiram W. Hayden was a prolific inventor and a practicing daguerreotypist. He contributed to the development of the daguerreotype. He also developed a process of taking a picture directly on paper; he produced three paper photograps of landscapes delivering them to the Waterbury American Newspaper in 1851.
In A Guide to the Whole Art of Photography (1858) it was indicated that a lens (or tube in terminology of the time) cost $75, of which HB&H were one of the choices.
HB&H open a NY office in 1854 at 63 Reade Street. They produced cameras, lenses and daguerreian plates from 1/4 plate to mammoth sizes until 1866.
