Several items I'm working on are from the Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle game, this one in particular is the Bwahnzai Bill. This was such a fun a game and I can't wait to have this item completed and to cosplay with it. I'll be getting around to post processing it soon as I'm done with my bow.

The times I use WISH is to get some items I know I can alter for cosplay. Quick and easy. I got myself some faux leather armor pieces and put foam on them. Using soldering iron to make some random scale like patterns. Didn’t want to make a hexagon pattern again and I want didn’t want to spend all day with the small details. I will add the color and fur for the Anjanath armor soon. Now I need to work on the key blade for the Anjanath armor and shoulder pads for the nargacuga armor before everything gets painted and finalized. Halloween 2014, the great Jacob P and I did a prop-building overnighter to make my Braum shield (League of Legends).

I got styrofoam insulation boards from home depot

then sketched out the base shape of the shield. Then I sketched the surface details on the base until they looked right (always a pain), and transferred the shapes onto the remaining styrofoamboards.

Hot gluing the Styrofoam directly melted it, we found a couple solutions.

I cut squares of paper, took one and hot glued a side well, then I waited until it had partially cooled. Once cooler, you can glue the paper to the Styrofoam without melting. I put many of these on the surface to be glued down, then hot glue all of them at once, waited for the glue to cool a bit, then pressed it into place.

I wanted the horns to be shear-resistant, so we stabbed popsicle sticks through the center of the layers, then removed them and hot glued the stick and stuck it back in. It did the trick, the shield took a hard hit later and the popsicle sticks kept the horns from breaking off.

I also built Braums armor on my own, I'll post the building pics next Thursday!

And finally, Braums blue tattoos. We straight up duct taped the designs on me and spray painted them on. I wouldn't reccomend that, but we were short on time xD

I'm currently making the Traveler's Bow from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It is the closest bow that I was able to find that I could 3D print to make the Hero Bow from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. Not quite a perfect one to one ratio, but really close and good enough for me!

I need this bow for both Toon Link and Toon Zelda, and also for Gerudo Link when I get around to him.

Work in Progress Wednesdays! It is done! I finished the Traveler's Bow from Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild! It's been along and wild journey as I took this awful, grainy 3d printed piece to it's refined version you see. I Printed, sanded, filled in with wood filler, sanded some more, primed with sandable primer, sanded EVEN MORE, wet sanded, Primed MORE, MORE WET SANDING, assembled the shaft with glue, woodfilled the gaps in the shaft pieces, YET MORE SANDING, Painted, WET SANDED REDUX, Painted again, Clear Coated, and attached the silver pieces with glue. I will be putting a video out in the future on the whole process! What's your favorite Zelda Item?

Eh, not an even coating of plasti dip but it will do. Before I start paint the light bow gun, I will need to add detail and compacting it all together. Alastor got a bit uneven at the tip and thought to add in more of my air drying foam clay. It looks rather better and I will need to sand it abit to make some sort of blunt edge. Due to this weekend being Mother’s Day weekend, I will need to move my props for guests at my house. But a majority of my props is almost done. Now I need to make my little brother’s Sora Anjanath armor and props. Alastor needs to be clean up with the dremmel and make my sling for the magnets to connect. Of course making shoulder pads for my Aizawa silverwind Nargacuga armor. Also using contact cement to secure some pieces starting to come apart. I thought of adding a mic at the end of Alastor and soon became me reinforcing the handle. It has gotten heavier and made me concern about the invisible strap idea. About the strength of my two magnets in Alastor to hold onto to the strap on my back. If it doesn’t work. It’s fine, I could always carry it normally and use the magnets for another cosplay prop. The Anjanath keyblade is almost ready for priming to paint. Just need to make the face detail. The armor on the other hand is done painting with the shield. Just need to add the fur and I am good to go. I won’t be priming it due to the fabric and don’t want waste more time since they will survive for one day and get a new touch up after the con. I learn my lesson from Animanga to not wear armor for all days at the con that’s packed. It will degrade slowly. My mom is helping me with the sewing on the Nargacuga armor. I had to re do the red fabric trim to have black fabric strips for the X pattern on the border and knees. Everything is almost done and needing the final touches. Alastor might be a challenge for the bowl around the microphone but I could always opt it out and leave the eye on it. Either way, my projects will be done very soon. Friday will be another day I can work on it.
