Lemonade Lips - Finn Shelby (blurb)

“Honey and Lemon.”

Finn talked over Y/N, who was reading a book out loud.

“Pardon?”

Finn sighted and scratched his face.

“I mean...honey and lemon is my favourite flavor in the whole world. You asked me an hour ago.” he said, raising his arm to touch Y/N’s cheek with love.

They were having a date, the third one.

“And why would it be those two, exactly?” she asked, taking Finn’s hand in hers, and letting her fingers dance softly in his palm.

“You brought lemonade, and we had a piece of honey cake. And that’s how your lips taste.”

Y/N felt the butterflies in her stomach and smiled embarrassed.

“You know i hate coffee. But when you walk me to school and kiss me goodbye, your lips taste like coffee. And i think it’s addicting.”

Finn smiled.

“What’s addicting?” he said, pushing her.

She bit her lip, trying to hide a smile, but failing.

“Umh...the coffee?” Y/N tried tu brush it off. But Finn wasn’t going to let that happen any time soon. As quick as he could, he sat up, and started to tickle the girl.

“S-stop! Finn!��� she laughed.

“Tell me what’s addicting!” he refused to stop until he heard her say it.

“Finn pl-please!” she could stop laughing.

The book now was on the floor, with its pages folding. He was over her stomach, while her back was on the grass.

“Say it!” he laughed, slowly stopping with the tickling.

Her laughter also stopped slowly, allowing her to open her eyes. So, she could see who Finn really was. His red hair was shining with the sun, and his smile was as hers.

“I...” started Y/N, while grabbing gently his head, getting him closer to her “am addicted to your lips and kisses, Finn Shelby.”

They kissed, tasting the lemonade they had a few moments ago and their smiles. It was the only kiss Finn had had, in which he felt his exploding soul.

When they stopped, their noses were touching, and their eyes met once again. And they felt the exact same connection from that rainy day.

“I...” started Finn, his lips were trembling.

“...have. a. butterfly. in. my. hair.” Y/N whispered, paying attention to the beautiful blue butterfly that was sitting in Finn’s hair.

“...what?” he asked, confused.

“You have a butterfly on your hair, Finn. Sit calmly, please don’t scare her away...” she kept whispering.

Finn sat slowly, trying to see the bug with his own eyes.

“I can’t see her...” he said, in a sad tone.

“Wait, let me...” Y/N raised her arm, trying to catch the butterfly or make her jump in her finger.

“You got it?” he asked with a smile, watching how focused she was.

Instead of a yes, he saw the most beautiful smile appear on her face. She had a big blue butterfly on her finger. Finn couldn’t care less about the butterfly, he was lost in the emotion portrayed in Y/N’s face. Once the little friend flew away, he kissed her.

“I love you, you little lemonade lips.”

I really love those white-black-pink ones! Color scheme is so beautiful. They all look so professional and cute, even those in unfortunate shapes XD. Though, they look 100% like cute little mushrooms for me, they would look so cool in a cottagecorre room <3

This doesn't even include the baby blanket I made my toddler, the trow I made my mom, or the two play purses I made for the kids here. Plus, there are a couple more that I gave away and a pincushion I made.

The two small mushrooms got compared to dicks by my future SIL and BIL. But we're not even going to talk about the blue/green pillow with the dick pattern—because that was a complete accident. This blue/green yarn has not settled on what it wants to be and I never know what I'm going to get when I use it lol.
