#DWD anon -#yes the anon who sent me the ask about 2.5 x prod budget started their ask with 'I know it's not an exact thing but...'#you didn't factor in international marketing costs#or the huge impact of Covid on the production budget#during the height of the pandemic when DWD was filming#Covid protocols on set were adding up to €1m costs to €4m budgets even on indie films here in Ireland#so you can imagine why the prod budget ballooned#but regardless -#yes there are no fears that DWD won't go into profit#(not publishing only because I don't want to extend the asks about it....I'm not sure how to keep saying the same thing differently! :))#oh and also - not sure how you landed at that production budget but ...no#that's incorrect
