General

Obsessions are always given the green light to escape by any means.

Entity purposefully fucks with both sides to heighten tensions. Causes food shortages, droughts, or purposefully triggers killers.

The Entity is unable to create a place or environment without drawing inspiration the real world. It just simply isn’t creative enough.

The Enitiy only takes talented/ interesting survivors who would’ve made an impact on the world. Dwight was accidentally taken.

Ironically, Dwight is who rallies the Survivors and causes the eventually down fall of the Entity.

Leading up to the downfall, Dwight would have to befriend and earn the loyalty of every survivor. ( I would honestly play a tell-tale game like this)

If Evan’s spirit wasn’t broken, he’d start a killer led rebellion.

The more loyal a killer is, better conditions are given. Food, mori’s, and sentimental items to name a few.

Killers who need to be tortured to kill are given the bare minimum.

I personally don’t agree with “ survivors losing their memory post-trial” canon. If they can’t remember, how exactly does that generate the fear or hope the Entity needs to survive? In addition, lost of memory would include not knowing how to do generators, how to counter certain killers, or how trials in general work. You’re seriously telling me a gambler and botanist who’s never left the house knows complex machinery like that?

Survivors 🔥✊

David isn’t out to the group. Scared he’ll be ostracized or purposefully thrown under the bus during trials.

Some of the more self-interested survivors tend to be less thought of in trails. Ace realized he was more likely to be left behind and started doing more for the team, Élodie took it as another reason not to rely on others, and Yun-Jin throws hissy fits because “why didn’t THEY bother to save her.”

Slowly learning each other’s language. Translating for each other is a doozy and often ends up miscommunicated. Hence, why they only point and motion towards themselves in trails. Ain’t no one got time to remember “Come help me with this generator” in Japanese. 😤

On that note, I think the pariahs communicated with broken English and simple gestures that they collectively knew.

Steve likes to pull the “I’m technically older than you” on modern survivors who chastise him.

Survivors eat community, volume meals. It’s a chore no-one likes to do and is assigned day-to-day. If they ever got a chef or cook survivor, that responsibility would be gladly passed to them.

Adam enjoys teaching and educating the younger survivors on little tib-bits. In addition, he will almost always have their back in trails and personal see that they live through it.

Felix and Élodie aren’t on speaking terms at the moment. Keeps their prior friendship and knowledge of the Entity hush-hush. Somehow, both know that information getting out won’t look good for them.

Sable definitely had a “NLOG” phase. Cringes when she thinks back on it.

Jake is dyslexic and can only recognize certain words based on the surrounding context (Red STOP! Sign, do not enter sign on a chain link fence, handicap parking with the wheel chair symbol.)

Killers 🔪🩸

Max tunnels police survivors if they are in uniform. Believes ACAB.

HUX is annoyed by the sounds of breathing. And laughter. And blinking. Sometimes stands outside of the camp ground so it can make itselfs mad.

Trickster will sometimes, SOMETIMES let a survivor go if they praise him enough.

Kazan is in deep disbelief about the state of his family legacy. Refuses to believe it was his own doing that caused the curse and often blames history for painting him in a bad light.

Legion rock, paper, scissors for who goes next for a trial.

Had Rin survived the attack, she would’ve broken the family’s curse.

Anna was very scared during her first period ( her mother died way before they could have “the talk”.) Convinced herself it was a deadly disease. As she grew older and stronger, her periods became few and far due to her survivalist nature.

Jeffery is kept on a strict diet regarding his addictions. Only gifted booze, herion, and large amounts of food with good performance.

Danny obsessives over the survivors. Takes pictures in secret and writes news paper stories on their many ‘deaths’.

Onryō will never not be confused by Nic’s “Sadako! Not you!”

Xenomorph ~ Smash. Hey, after Dredge, what's one more actual monster?

The Good Guy : Chucky ~ Pass. He's a doll.... Just no... (as previously stated, Chucky will be appearing in STG. I had already planned on this before he was added to DBD, therefore in STG he was never taken by the Entity)

The Unknown : Jim ~ Smash... Does this officially earn Marcus the title of Monster Fucker?

The Lich : Vecna ~Nope! He's like Wesker, but older and somehow even more insufferably self inflated

The Dark Lord (seriously? seriously? -_-) : Dracula ~ Smash! Only in human form though... Get your mind of the gutter ( ͡ಠ ʖ̯ ͡ಠ) (but seriously, the dark lord?)

The Survivors

Vittorio : 🔥🔥🔥Smash🔥🔥🔥 (I wonder if his tattoos glow when he-)

Thalita : Pass. She isn't one to hop into bed with someone she barely knows and he's got a harem of Killers... No.

Renato : Pass. If his sister doesn't like someone, he's going to trust her judgment. Also, same reasons as above.

Gabriel : Smash. He's still making new memories since finding out the truth of his creation, he wants to take a few risks! Live an adventure of his own making! (I know his lore says he doesn't know he's a clone, but I love the idea of him figuring it out at some point and deciding he wants to make real memories and friends for himself)

Nicholas Cage : (This section could not be completed due to the mod laughing too hysterically to write out her thoughts properly)

Ellen Ripley : Pass for her, Smash for him. Marcus has seen the Alien movies too many times to count (not just for the xeno). Actually getting to meet Ripley in person would be like meeting a celebrity. He'd respect her wishes to stay away from her though. He reeks of bad decisions and danger, and the last time that happened, her entire crew died...

Alan Wake : (I know nothing about this character or franchise so this is based purely off of ✨vibes✨) Smash! He looks very haunted. Very smashable. Mhmm.

Sable : Pass. She's already got a girlfriend, thank you very much.

Aestri Yazar : Smash! Bard. Duh. ✪ ω ✪

Baermar Uraz : Smash. But only after much outrage that Marcus had hooked up with the woman he views as his mother...

Lara Croft : Smash. She finds his pathetic charm endearing. And he's surprisingly good in bed for someone who cries at the end of Old Yeller.

Trevor Belmont : Smash. He's moody and broody and needs to fucking kill or fuck someone.

Poll: Are you excited for the Finisher Mori?

Are you actually excited for the Finisher Mori to be the core game experience, or do you agree that this is a bad idea (or should have just been a separate game mode or limited modifier)? As I said in the text for the poll, every time I've seen this get brought up, my experience is that I've seen an overwhelming negative reaction to it. There have been a few people I've seen who don't hate it, or they think it's cool, but nobody I've personally seen has ever been incredibly enthusiastic about it or seemed super pumped for it to be added. My stance on it has always been that this would be much better as a separate game mode or, when they started doing them, a limited modifier. Changing the whole core game around a concept that wasn't exactly well received is astonishing to me. And the last time they mentioned it in passing on social media, the prevailing sentiment I saw was, "Bro, you're still working on this?" Not exactly an enthusiastic response. Also, as I mentioned in the first tweet, you can't remove BP multipliers from Perks because "it's too easy to accumulate BP now" whilst simultaneously adding so many other things that inundate us with BP. Ngl, the fact that they're still forging ahead with this, and that they're so excited about a thing that not many players share their excitement about (again, as far as I've personally seen) has killed my enthusiasm for everything else that I was previously looking forward to. I get that they want to shake things up, but this ain't it imo.

Pretty much canon

Automatically assumes that people who don’t talk to her don’t like her

Info dumps about plants

Smiles awkwardly at jokes. She really does think it’s funny! She just doesn’t have the emotional range to give a proper, hearty laugh.

Clothes with sequins are a no-no.

For a long time, Baby Claudette refused to wear jeans. They’re too itchy and tight mom!

Has a difficult time keeping a hygiene routine. Doesn’t want to smell like basement goblin though. The shower is very overwhelming ( too wet, too hot in the bath, too cold when she’s done. ESPECIALLY hates putting on a robe if she’s still really wet.)

Snaps her fingers a lot when she has overwhelmed.

I don’t really picture her as having “food rules” or eating the same thing everyday. Has a problem with textures, especially early in the morning because she’s groggy.

Renato Lyra

Also pretty much canon.

May not follow the social rules but is die hard with physical, literal rules.

The thought of committing himself to a full time- romantic relationship is very stressful to him. He enjoys his down time and wouldn’t be able to handle his partner stressing him out. (Being late, having to explain his stims and comfort objects etc)

Has a hard time eating veggies and is pretty much contispated 24-7. The textures and fluctuating taste. Wasn’t aware shitting pebbles wasn’t normal until it was brought up in conversation.

“Huh? Whaddya mean popping isnt supposed to hurt???”

Hates sweaty feet but his sandals chafe all. the. time. Plus, he hates when the sand gets in-between the shoe and his foot. If he wanted to feel the sand he would’ve gone barefoot dammit!

Albert Wesker

I don’t think he knows

Walked on his toes as a kid.

Gets very frustrated when his schedule gets interrupted or slightly changed. If given enough time to adjust, about a week, he’ll be okay for it.

Kinda weird but he treats Neurotypical’s like how they would Neurodivergent’s.

I don’t really head-canon his lack of empathy as an exclusively Autistic trait. I do think it goes hand in hand with his narcissism though.

When he’s not doing ✨ Science ✨ or 👹 Global Saturation👹 he lays in a dark room to destim. Maybe reads or blanks out for a bit.

Most lights are too bright for him.

When sitting or leaning on something while having a discussion/watchings something, pulls the corner of eye back. (Press it gently and gently slide the finger back.) Most people think he’s expressing boredom but he’s really not. It’s just how he stims.

Hates fidget toys. They just don’t work for him. Hates that the bubble fidget doesn’t actually pop and that the dice fidget doesn’t do anything after pressing all the buttons.

Adris

Likes running her fingers along the chain of her censer.

Eating the same food everyday like a good priest 😇

Starved for information regarding her god. Reads every book, paper, scroll she can get.

Very disciplined with her schedule. Wakes up, worships, eats, and tends to the grounds at the same time every day. Doesn’t get anxious if the Entity calls her away for a trail.

The rust of the hooks is a no-no.

Destims in her prayer room. The lighting is perfect, smells are minimal, and it’s very cozy.

Washing her bedding or clothing is tough for her. Clean, crisp bedding doesn’t feel the greatest.

Pushes through the more pungent fragrances she uses in her meditations. As a child, she’d frequently have meltdowns over mirth. She could even smell it in her quarters!

Sometimes has intrusive thoughts of removing her toes and fingers, or extra skin general. Not in a mentally ill or psychotic way, but because sometimes her fingers/toes feel “lose.”
