Allyson Felix: A Golden Goodbye to a Legendary Career

Hold on to your hats, honey! Allyson Felix, the QUEEN of track and field, just bowed out in epic style at the Tokyo Olympics, snagging her 11th Olympic medal - a new record!

She teamed up with Sydney McLaughlin, Dalilah Muhammad, and Athing Mu to form a DREAM TEAM in the women’s 4x400 relay. These ladies absolutely SMOKED the competition, finishing in a mind blowing 3:16.85 - the fastest time in 28 years! That’s what I call going out with a BANG!

This victory wasn’t just about another medal for Felix. It was about teamwork, legacy and closing out her Olympic journey on a high note. And let’s not forget, this was her first Olympics as a mom! Talk about #MomGoals.

Felix’s 11th medal makes her the most decorated US track and field athlete ever, surpassing the legendary Carl Lewis. She’s also tied with Al Oerter and Carl Lewis for the most olympic golds in a single event, with four in the 4x400m relay.

This relay team was stacked with superstars, each bringing their A-Game to the track. McLaughlin, Muhammad, and Mu already had medals from Tokyo, and together they formed an unstoppable force.

For McLaughlin, passing the baton to Felix in her final Olympic race was a truly special moment. And for Felix, this victory was the perfect ending to a career that has inspired countless athletes around the world.
