Me watching movies day 19:

Loose cannons (1990).

Cast : Gene Hackman as mac, Dan Aykroyd as ellis, Dom Deluise as Harry, Dick O’neill as the captain, Robert Prosky as Von Metz, Ronny Cox as as smiley and Nancy Travis as Riva.

5 Minutes in... and we already have a gun shooting and a couple who are having way to loud  sex. Ok it’s about a film that is found that features a young German officer Kirk Von Metz sleeping with Adolf Hitler. Many years later: Von Metz is running for chancellor for West Germany. He kills everyone who has seen the movie... The killings happen in Washington DC. Officiers Mac and Ellis are on the case. Ellis suffers from a  multiple personality disorder, which is aggravated when he is confronted with violence. He get’s black outs and starts to roll his eye’s backwards when he is getting a attack. Oh boy Aykroyd his voice talents are so goofy and great at the same time! Weird at first and i was like no not again Dan... They both track down the film through pornographer Harry "The Hippo" Gutterman. They need to get to New York City. This was the movie i needed afther watching ‘doctor detroit’ btw. Spoilers: Ellis is allergic to cats, annoyed by loud music and fast driving. His home is blanc. Yep. But he can’t help it. They abused him for 2 days long... So no wonder. First Mac doesn’t seem to have respect for Ellis but during the movie there bound changes and they are partners in crime. Ellis is very smart. When he helped on the investigation were he almost threw up he could point out somethings with just to look at it. I felt sorry when they shot in his leg uggghhhh. 

7′5/10 it was good. Funny at some points and the story was good too. It had me from the start t’ill the end. Should you watch it? Yes but if you thinking Dan his voice impressions are annoying and strange than no. Btw very catchy song song by Dan Ayrkoyd and Katey Sagal
