Top 5 meals?

Oh man gonna blow up my spot because I am a PROFESSIONAL CHEF and when given the choice I will eat like a child on occasion.

1. Mac and Cheese. This is THE comfort food for me. And don’t try to make it fancy with like Gouda (adding pulled pork is god tier tho), I want it to be ORANGE or occasionally white but it needs to be white cheddar or other mild flavored cheeses.

2. A perfect medium cooked duck breast with purple potatoes, asparagus or Brussels sprouts and some sort of glaze. Maybe a lil miso. See? I can be fancy! I haven’t had duck in a while I need to get fixing that.

3. Traditional US Thanksgiving dinner. There’s really nothing not to love (unless my mom cooks the turkey but her being a bad cook notwithstanding, turkey slaps). Load me up with mashed potatoes and gravy, give me that green bean casserole, I will fight my own grandma over a good slice of pumpkin pie if it comes down to it.

4. I’m a sucker for a good burger and fries. But like a good one. I won’t eat fast food burgers. Quality wise, the lowest I’ll go is five guys which is why I always laugh so hard at that post that refers to them as “gourmet” because like. That’s the worst of the okay.

5. Lomo Saltado. My old boss was from Peru and he taught me this dish. It’s as delicious as it is kinda weird. There’s french fries sautéed in with the meat and veg and it’s served with rice also. The sauce is mostly soy sauce. It is such a mash up of things but it is so worth trying if there’s a Peruvian restaurant near you (or I guess if you are in Peru but you already know this if that’s the case 😂😂)
