Aughgggghgfgggh I REALLY didn't need MORE PROBLEMS TODAY
#chipped my tooth a month or two ago and the dentist said to me that hed try to patch it over before the proper filling appointment#but that i shouldn't be surprised or worried if the temp filling came out#WELL ITS COMING OUT. AND I AM WORRIED#im dealing with fucking enough rn i cant do more ill die. and yet#i cant get the real filling til AUGUST#do i get another temp one???? whats the deal here???????

went to the dentist the day before yesterday and i can't quite eat solid foods bc i think they didn't grind the crown down enough and i can't close my teeth very well. and the meds that im on now are like "take this at breakfast lunch and dinner and bedtime" so im like. having to eat actual meals and go to sleep. and i can't stop complaining about this to anyone who will listen
#im only on the meds for a week which is good#but its like. yknow#adhd is a bitch#i keep getting stuck in like 'i need to cook bc i need soft food but to cook i need to wash the dishes but to wash the dishes i need to eat'#im hoping i can get another appointment to grind down that temp crown a bit more just to get it so my mouth closes#cw dentist#jic ?#ask to tag

The second interview for my promotion went really well! They’re gonna let me know by the end of the week. It was very stressful to have to interview with a panel of my own colleagues especially on the backend of having COVID so I’m glad that’s behind me. Also since I’ll be full time staff I get benefits so I can’t wait to finally have sweet sweet healthcare!!!

my permanent retainer is broken in the same spot again and my root canal tooth is still bugging me 🫠
#I can't even get started with a new dentist because this shit keeps dragging#I'm gonna set an appointment with the new one this week#But go back to the old one to fix this retainer AGAIN#And I still have like two more weeks before I can go back about my root canal#Because they said it might take 3-4 weeks to feel fine again#Ski trip was loads of fun though#Many many great runs and layering well made -10 degree weather feel like room temp

#more dental work today#same tooth#now back to my dentist for temp crown#injections for local anesthesia hurt#plus work they did#i guess they had to put sonething under my gums too#😅#so more pain this week#probably for a week or so#meanwhile trying to eat#and close my mouth without hurting#will take some time#mouthguard hurts to use rn#dentist noticed my jaw locking#i asked about it#my jaw is not in the sockets right#and probably causing the teeth grinding#so i will need to see a specialist#😮

#speaking of dentists. lmao.#first of all i have a broken wisdom tooth that i’ve been putting off removing for 2 years now but i have all of them#tonight i was actually in an ok mood like it’s early i was gonna go to bed early and just relax#but i was like hm maybe i want to trying doing something new with my hair so i was fucking around with that and listening to music#and just being fine! like contentness which is v rare. anyway i was like ok i’m gonna start taking better care of my teeth#so back to wisdom teeth the one on my bottom right didn’t fully come out so it gets like plaque on it so i got a small child toothbrush#to really get in there and brush it yeah tmi i guess but in front of that wisdom tooth i have a temprorary filling#from 1 year ago bc this one dumbass dentist i went to well actually i went there as a kid but she’s terrible but i needed a filling fast so#i went there last year. anyway she put a temp in and said ok come back in 6 months and i didn’t because i wasnt gonna go to her anymore#and i couldn’t go to my good dentist bc he told me to remove my wisdoms and i didn’t lmao. anyway long story short i was brushing that#wisdom bitch really good and a chunk of my temp filling tooth broke off. not the filling of course but my real tooth and i’m like ok.#so god isnt real for real then. like. the reason i put all this fucking shit off is bc i don’t have money and now i fucking have to go fix#it so i’m 100% fucked i’ll never move out from my abusive gr*ndmothers house and i’m just completely fucked i’m so upset.#anyway hope i die in my sleep tonight#*temporary. if i die tonight i don’t want u guys thinking i can’t spell temporary i’m just fucking upset#it’s literally gonna be thousands isnt it like. i don’t even fucking know if they CAN fix it and who has thousands of dollars not fucking me#idk i have literally no idea what i’m supposed to do now

#first cracked it in like april of 2021#couldn’t get in to see a dentist until november of that year#they put on a temp filling that promptly fell off#i was out of town visiting my friend and the dentist was fobbing me off so i told my mom#she went down there and did some karen shit and they gave me an emergency appointment lol#but the new temporary filling fell off AGAIN#i finally just left it and i got a ‘permanent’ filling eventually in like february 2022 i think#at checkups everyone’s been like ‘oh everything’s okay’ but the ‘permanent’ filling did fall off after 18 months#i’ve had like 3 temp fillings in the meantime because no one seems to want to deal with me#two weeks ago i finally got a ‘permanent’ and it’s already chipped#at this point i’m just fucking losing my mind to be honest. the amount of MONEY i’ve paid for all of these fillings#£176 for the last one and it chipped after like a few days. i want to diiiiieeeeee#there’s NO NEED for me to be at the dentist this often#if they even attempt to charge me i am straight up going to leave that practice and go somewhere else. i do not care how hard it is#to register with a new dentist in the age of covid. i feel like they’re holding that shit over my head so i won’t shop around#like do not test me. if i get less than 5 years out of this filling i WILL be leaving and taking my credit card with me#‘oh but you won’t find another dentist waaaah’ if you think i’m not willing to snort cocaine and extract it myself with pliers#you don’t know me at all. period#personal

I will have a temp crown today and it will be worth going to the dentist. It will make my TMJ better to be able to chew on both sides again. It will make the subluxation of my jaw better. Everything will be better once it’s over

#I’m quitting my job#today has just put the nail#in the coffin for me#I just feel like when I’m temping at places they just expect you to know every single thing about the place and then treat you like you’re#stupid if you don’t know exactly how things work at this dentist#and it’s like that at every office I’ve been to#and everytime something goes#wrong i’m the easy target to blame because im just filling in there for the day#I’m so sick of it I’m over it#like I literally teach students to become dental assistants#I don’t need my intelligence questioned every day#I meet with my supervisor at the college tomorrow and I’m telling her I can’t do the temping anymore I just want to focus on teaching#I only do the temping because my supervisor wanted me to get some office experience they’re not correlated at all with each other#I don’t think I can do this anymore anyways because I’m going to be teaching 6 college classes starting next week and taking classes to get#my bachelors#I don’t have time or the mental stability for this job anymore#sorry I need to rant because if I don’t I’ll sit in my car and cry
