🚨Notes!🚨
This is an 18+ blog, so naturally there can be adult things in here. I tag accordingly with common CWs. If there's an Amount of them, I make a list/preface. The stories that have more than 3: catharsis, The Incident, The Werewolf (I think), and memory management .
I have 3 personal tags that I use:
Rated P for Peach – basic nudity, nothing explicit. Usually just hanging around doing nothin’ and it’s usually someone’s butt.
Rated N for Naughty – suggestive/a little racy. Something that can (but doesn’t always) lead to spice. Titillating.
Rated S for Spice – (leans in close to microphone) they're fucking on the front porch. sorry, in-joke
🤖 ANDROID USERS🤖
(as of 4/12) okay so google play store changed the rules on tumblr app and you may see posts that are like 98% incorrectly labeled as mature. I don't use those labels except posts that absolute warrant it on top of tagging it. Which is honestly 12 posts. SO! if you wanna see my posts unhindered while if/when they fix this shit, you can do the following:
on mobile: Account Settings > Content You See > toggle on the mature switch. if you like, you can still blur the posts. you can also use tumblr on the web browser of your choice; you wont need to go do all of that. I hear its less glitchy. Or directly check my blog in the web browser.
if you have an iphone or ipad, or if you use tumblr on desktop -- yall are gucci and dont need to do anything.

Where the Android Tablet is today, and what it might become in a post chromebook world..
Tumblr media
There has been a lot of discussion about Google, chromeOS, and the future on this Discord, and this post isn't about that. this post looks at the current state of Android Tablets where they can learn from chromeOS and also where Google might go with this..
To do this I've recently purchased the very large Samsung Galaxy Tab10 Ultra. this is a very big, premium tablet device from arguably one of the biggest Android device manufacturers on the planet. A company whom while the rest of the world forgot about android tablets, carried on and paved a solid lineup of Galaxy Tab products.
The purpose of purchasing this behemoth as two fold. firstly I like big tablets, big real-estate. I take a lot of photos, and having the bigger screen helps a lot editing and working with both photos and videos. The second reason was. Its about the sweet spot for a laptop screen as well. So with the Samsung Folio keyboard, there is a familiarity as a Chromebook user to all of this..
So lets cut to the chase, what has a week using this device to do work been like?
At times it felt just like being on a Chromebook, others its as frustrating as anything.. However its frustrating for the same reasons a Windows User would be frustrated going to a Mac (or Vice Versa). things are not available..
Lets start with the good…
Putting the Samsung Folio keyboard on this tablet, and sitting down at a desk, turning on Dex and working was, because i've been using chromeOS, a seamless experience in the most part. I'm used to the Android experience or the web app experience. The tablet is quick. I'm able to edit Insta360 Videos, or in Lightroom or VCSO.. I get Slack messages and apparently look good in Meet calls because the webcam is where it should be (top middle in landscape mode). the battery has lasted all day and I've been able to do what I need to do (DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, sysadmin stuff)
The processor is more than capable of having 15+ apps running, multiple tabs.. the screen is crystal clear, the speakers are good. However i'd expect all of this, its a premium product (RRP: £800ish) just as I would from a similar priced chromeOS tablet.
However I do think this is the case because of the tablets screen real-estate. personally i think if i had got the Galaxy tab10 plus with a smaller screen, I'd have felt much more constricted in what I was doing..
Compared to the Ipad Pro experience, this is no matter what any tech bro influencer will tell you a huge leap over said device. Being able to actually multi task and run apps (in dex) not full screen alone takes this to a level above the Apple product.
However then there is whats missing.. These as i inferred above are things i've noticed having used a Chromebook as my daily driver for the last 5+ years.
As a huge Linux user on Native platforms and chromeOS, i really missed the Chromebooks Linux shell. this is something I've seen Google are working on with android. Both the full debian runing on the OS with Icons aoppearing when you install Linux apps with GUI's (OnlyOffice for example) which launch independetly of the shell is not a feature to be sniffed at and IMO make the Chromebook one of the best entry level Linux devices available today. Whatever Google have done here, they need to replicate.
I'd also like to see the desktop version of the Chrome browser especially on the bigger scren, the android version of chrome is ok for most things, having the desktop version however should not be a huge leap of development to get this working.. with a huge highlight on PWAs which i use a lot on ChromeOS
Finally there is Dex, I have a love hate relationship over the years with Dex, and the classic version has been my workhorse for the last week. with a keyboard, mouse and external monitor this is more than a workable solution for checking email, slack, meet meetings and even some coding. All the time however i am thinking why not chromeOS?
Dex for its time was a great and groundbreaking idea, and interestingly is the last of many convergence tools over the years, and its always made we wonder why when i plug in a Pixel Phone/Tablet into a USB Hub with a monitor I don't get a ChromeOS like experience.
So what are my thoughts on chromeOS becoming Android based on using arguably the top tier Android experience as my sole PC for a week?
It boils for me into these areas
While ChromeOS will run fine on a 4Gb Arm chip for browsing the web and a few tasks. 8Gb is the minimum you need to start using it properly.. The same will be the same with any new android tablet, for this to work, the 8Gb equivalent needs to be the base hardware, same with processors and storage. Google will need as they did with chromebook Plus to set a minimum spec for these new devices day 1. Or they will cause a lot of market confusion and again get that chromeOS low power second screen device label that they have never shifted from the tech press narrative. This i think has only worked for me because of the premium experience, i think had i gone mid tier i'd have been writing something very different.
The interface and app experience is somewhat comparable, however if Google do put the desktop browser on android as has been suggested they may do, this will make a big difference. OneUI for all its haters, does do a good job of presenting a nice desktop above the Pixel equivalent. Its, dare i say it, more "windows like" and having that as an option interface wise would be a good thing.
Expanding on Interface, the experience presnted to the user of Dex when plugging into an external monitor and adding a keyboard/mouse is important, I would like to see Google work here on something which looks like chromeOS appear when i plug an (lets call it Android Plus) Android Plus device into a hub. a step above dex and a more Usable desktop. this provides huge value ad, and really starts to differentiate Android from Ipad Pro and (i think its called) stage manager. This starts to become an easy drop in replacement for schools, businesses etc while staying familiar and enterprise admins can still do thier thing.
And finally there are things which google should 100% be pulling over from ChromeOS, i think the whole material you type experience is better on chromeOS (although this might just be Samsungs OneUI), the Linux shell experience is another huge thing. Better PWA support and the inbuilt VPN support would be nice too.
All in all a space I'll be hugely interested in over the next few years, if google is serious about making a dent in that lucrative iPad/Pro market it needs to make changes and the convergence of the two OS might actually be the thing which takes the Android OS everyone gave up on on Tablets and the chromeOS only good as a second screen device and makes them the thing you guy to get stuff done..

Favorite iOS Safari Extensions
On iOS (iPhones and iPads), Safari is the undisputed leader of the browsers, primarily because Apple puts very tight restrictions on other browser apps that makes it very difficult for them to offer the same features that Safari does.
Thankfully, you can install extensions to tweak Safari's behavior and customize websites, as long as your device is running iOS 15 or higher. Here are the Safari Extensions I use on a daily basis. Many are free (or at least have a free version), and all work on both iPhones and iPads.
For desktop computers and Android phones, you can also check out my recommendations for Firefox addons)
Last updated March 2025 (fixed broken Bypass Paywalls Clean links, added StopTheMadness)
Index:
AdGuard
Noir
uBlacklist
Userscripts
Sink It for Reddit
UnTrap
Vinegar
StopTheMadness
AdGuard
This addon is free if you just want to use the built in adblocking lists. For a small yearly fee, you can pay for "Pro" features, which allows you to add any custom adblocking list to the app, as well as providing DNS-based system-level adblocking that can block ads and trackers inside any app on your phone. Note that it gives you two options for the system-level blocking, local VPN and native DNS; using the VPN option can drain your battery faster than normal in my experience, so I recommend using the native DNS instead. Between AdGuard and the two YouTube-customizing extensions below, I haven’t seen an ad on YouTube in Safari in months.
Recommended custom filter lists (in addition to the built-in default lists):
Bypass Paywalls Clean (you’ll also need to install this userscript using the Userscripts Safari extension mentioned later in this list for maximum paywall blocking)
Huge AI Blocklist (if you don’t want AI art or AI images of nonexistent chimera animals cluttering up your search results)
Fuck FuckAdblock
Noir
Adds a dark mode to any website. It's using heuristics (fancy guessing) to figure out which website colors need to be changed so that it's darkened, so sometimes it can make mistakes. In that case, it has a built in way to send a bug report to the developer, who is pretty responsive in my experience; he updates the app around once a month in my experience. You can also turn off darkening for specific sites right from inside Safari.
uBlacklist
This addon hides search engine results from specific domains. Example: you can hide images results from AI generator sites, OR if you search for tech support advice and one of those stupid auto-generated sites filled with SEO garbage but no actual information keeps popping up, you can use this addon to hide everything from that website, right from the Google/DuckDuckGo/other search results.
Recommended filter subscriptions:
Huge AI Blocklist
Userscripts
Allows you to install userscripts and stylesheets that customize website behavior or appearance. The addon can check for updates of your userscripts and uses iCloud to synchronize them across devices too, which is really nice. The userscripts I use are:
Bypass Paywalls Clean (removes news website paywalls)
Amazon Sponsored Products Removal (self-explanatory)
Redirect Fandom to BreezeWiki (bypasses ad-filled fandom.com domains for indie wikis or an ad-free proxy site. The link documents 2 userscripts with slightly different behavior; use whichever you prefer).
Sink It for Reddit
I switched to only using Reddit in the browser after the whole API/third party apps fiasco. AdGuard blocks the ads in the web interface, but there were still a lot of annoyances because Reddit constantly bombarded you with prompts/popups trying to get you to switch to their app so they could track you and sell you ads. Sink It for Reddit removes all of those popups and lets you customize the behavior of the Reddit website too (tapping a post can open it in a new tab, back to top buttons for long posts, and video downloads, among other things). Constantly being updated too, which is nice to see.
UnTrap (USD $1.99)
This extension cleans up the YouTube interface in the browser. You can hide Shorts, Explore, Trending, and multiple flavors of Suggestions (videos, playlists, etc.). It also stops autoplaying videos, and has a content filter you can use to ensure you never see certain channels or even specific videos by ID, username, or keyword/regex. There are over 50 options you can tweak for the video playback page alone, so if you’re looking to remove an annoyance from YouTube in Safari on iOS, this is the addon for you. Note however that this is the first extension I’ve recommended that does NOT have a free version.
Vinegar and Baking Soda (USD $1.99)
This extension replaces YouTube’s custom video player with a standard HTML5 one. This means that YT videos will play back using the standard iOS video player interface, including all of the accompanying benefits: better interface, Picture in Picture/popout videos work, videos continue playing in the background even if you leave Safari, etc.. I was even able to start a YouTube video in Safari, lock my phone, and then continue playing the video and hear the audio over my car’s speakers via CarPlay. These are all normally locked features reserved for YouTube Premium subscribers. You can also set a default quality that it will use so YouTube won’t use “auto” and set you to 360p just because you’re using a phone.
StopTheMadness Pro (USD $14.99)
This app is really only for techies who use mobile websites a LOT; for me the very high price tag is worth it primarily to stop the following web annoyances:
Stops websites from disabling features like copy and paste, pinch to zoom, context menus, or text replacement/autofill
Adds a warning when you’re exceeding the length of a password field (too many poorly coded websites just chopping off the extra characters without telling me and then the password I recorded is wrong)
Stops autoplaying video (looking at you, YouTube and news websites)
I’ll be honest, this app has a LOT of features and the number of options can be overwhelming. It has dozens of things I did not mention, and some of them even overlap with other items in this list. For example, if you have this you probably don’t need Baking Soda or Vinegar because this app has options for enabling native Safari controls on all videos, setting default YouTube quality and subtitles, etc.

This is for Android (and has text for desktop too), unfortunately for iOS I don't think you can do it mobile. I couldn't find it on my iPad. I think you have to do it through a web browser.

Apple shares the blame. They realized they had the only decent tablet and marketed heavy towards parents, making it easy to block certain features or just allow a few apps to run. Then a whole generation grew up as "ipad" kids. Those kids then want apps rather than web browsers because that's what they grew up with.
Not to mention schools gave up on teaching typing, cyber security, or tech literacy at all because kids were "internet natives." Yeah, they are, but only in a limited capacity. Any culture still has to teach their offspring. Kids don't just inherently know why things are done or how to repeat them or even the rules just because they grew up seeing it. We still have English classes for native English speakers, so kids should have tech classes even if they're internet natives.
Its not that kids are dumb and I hate seeing that sentiment. They were failed by companies, by schools, and by parents. Companies leveraged parents misunderstanding of technological learning to line their own pockets and schools let it happen. Nothing about that is kids fault. And if you're gonna be mad that so many kids don't understand what to do with a desktop at least be mad at the right people.
We need to lay more blame for "Kids don't know how computers work" at the feet of the people responsible: Google.
Google set out about a decade ago to push their (relatively unpopular) chromebooks by supplying them below-cost to schools for students, explicitly marketing them as being easy to restrict to certain activities, and in the offing, kids have now grown up in walled gardens, on glorified tablets that are designed to monetize and restrict every movement to maximize profit for one of the biggest companies in the world.
Tech literacy didn't mysteriously vanish, it was fucking murdered for profit.

What does a Responsive website mean? Specifically, a single website comprising multi-browser and multiple device compatibility is termed a responsive website. Imagine your customers being able to order food from your restaurant, whether they’re on an Android phone, an iOS device, or just on their laptop at home. Sounds pretty great, right?
In this post, I’ll dive into how DeliveryBee’s UberEats Clone app development makes it easier than ever to manage your food delivery business across all these platforms. So, let’s break it down and see how this all works.
Why Multi-Platform Support is a Must-Have for Your Food Delivery Service
First off, let me just say this: in today’s digital world, people use all sorts of devices. Some people are die-hard iPhone users, others swear by Android, and there are still plenty of people who prefer browsing on their laptop. So if your food delivery app is only available on one platform, you’re potentially leaving a lot of customers on the table.
Here’s where the magic of UberEats Clone App development comes into play. By supporting Android, iOS, and web platforms, DeliveryBee ensures that you can meet your customers wherever they prefer to shop. Whether they’re in the app store, on their desktop, or using a mobile browser, your service will be right there waiting for them.
Android, iOS, and Web: How DeliveryBee Does It All

Whether they’re looking to order a quick meal or browse your full menu, the app provides a seamless experience from start to finish.

And, just like the Android version, you can fully customize it with your branding, so your customers have a unique and consistent experience.
3. Web: Tap Into the Power of Browsers
Not everyone loves apps — and that’s where having a web version of your food delivery service comes in handy. Some customers might prefer to browse your menu, place an order, and pay directly through their laptop or desktop computer. DeliveryBee’s UberEats Clone App doesn’t leave them hanging.
With the web platform, you get a fully responsive website that works just as well as the mobile app. The design is optimized for any screen size, ensuring that customers get the same great experience whether they’re on a phone, tablet, or desktop. This way, you can expand your customer base to people who prefer the convenience of ordering from their browser.
Managing It All in One Place
Now, here’s the part that really makes DeliveryBee’s UberEats Clone App stand out: centralized management. Whether your customers are ordering via Android, iOS, or the web, all the orders are managed in a single, unified backend system. This makes your job so much easier because you don’t have to juggle multiple platforms or worry about syncing data across devices.
Unified Dashboard: Track orders in real-time, manage deliveries, and see customer feedback across all platforms from one easy-to-use dashboard.
Real-Time Updates: Whether someone places an order from an Android phone or an iPhone, you’ll receive instant notifications and updates about the status of the delivery.

Sharing your screen on a desktop is one of the most common ways to present information during a Zoom meeting. Whether you’re presenting a PowerPoint presentation, demonstrating software, or just sharing documents, the process is fairly simple.
Step-by-Step Instructions for Desktop (Windows and Mac)
Join or Start a Zoom Meeting:
Open the Zoom desktop app and either start a new meeting or join an existing one by entering the meeting ID and password.
Find the Share Screen Button:
Once you’re in the meeting, look for the "Share Screen" button located in the meeting toolbar at the bottom of the Zoom window. It is a green button with an icon of a screen.
Select What to Share:
Clicking on the "Share Screen" button opens a window that displays all the available options. You can choose to share:
Your Entire Desktop: This option shares everything visible on your screen, including open applications, documents, and browsers.
Specific Application Window: This allows you to share only one application window, like a PowerPoint presentation, a web browser, or a video player.
Whiteboard: If you need to draw or take notes, you can share a blank whiteboard.
iPhone/iPad via AirPlay: If you have an Apple device connected, you can share the screen of your iPhone or iPad.
Enable Audio Sharing (Optional):
If you're sharing a video or a presentation with audio, you should check the box at the bottom left that says “Share computer sound.” This ensures that participants can hear the sound from your video or software.
Click "Share":
After selecting what you want to share, click the "Share" button at the bottom right of the window. Your screen will now be visible to all participants.
Stop Screen Sharing:
To stop sharing, click the “Stop Share” button at the top of your screen. This will return you to the normal meeting view.
Tips for Desktop Screen Sharing:
Use Dual Monitors: If you have more than one monitor, you can choose which one to share or extend your screen for better organization.
Annotate While Sharing: Zoom offers built-in annotation tools to draw, highlight, or write on your shared screen. You can use this feature for teaching, brainstorming, or marking important details during presentations.
Use Presenter Mode for PowerPoint: If you’re presenting slides via PowerPoint, use the “Presenter View” to show your slides to the audience while keeping your notes and upcoming slides visible only to you.
How to Share Screen on Zoom Via Android 📱
Sharing your screen on Zoom via Android is a great way to conduct meetings on the go. Whether you’re sharing your smartphone’s screen for an app demonstration or showing a presentation, the process is simple and effective.
Step-by-Step Instructions for Android:
Join or Start a Zoom Meeting:
Open the Zoom app on your Android device. Join an existing meeting or start a new one.
Tap on the More Option:
Once you’re in the meeting, tap on the three dots (More) in the lower-right corner of your screen. This will open a menu with more options.
Select "Share":
From the menu, tap on “Share” to open the screen-sharing options.
Choose "Screen":
In the next window, tap on “Screen.” A pop-up will appear asking for permission to record your screen. Tap “Start Now” to begin sharing your screen.
Confirm Screen Sharing:
After granting permission, everything on your phone’s screen will be shared with meeting participants. You can navigate through apps, documents, or anything you need to show.
Stop Screen Sharing:
To stop sharing, return to the Zoom app and tap “Stop Share” at the top of your screen. You can also swipe down on the notification bar and tap “Stop Sharing.”
Tips for Android Screen Sharing:
Clear Notifications: Ensure that your notifications are turned off before sharing your screen to avoid any personal alerts popping up.
Use for App Demos: If you’re showcasing an app, screen sharing on Android is perfect for demonstrating features, providing tech support, or showing how an app works.
How to Share Screen on Zoom Via iOS (iPhone/iPad) 🍏
Sharing your screen on Zoom via iOS is a smooth process, and it works similarly to Android. Whether you're showing a presentation, navigating through a website, or helping someone with an app, here’s how to share your screen.

Stop Screen Sharing:
To stop sharing, tap the red bar at the top of your screen and choose “Stop.” You will be returned to the Zoom meeting.
Tips for iOS Screen Sharing:
Use for Mobile Presentations: Screen sharing on iOS is perfect for mobile-based presentations or showing content from apps that are not available on desktops.
Optimize for Video: If you’re sharing video content, make sure to adjust the video settings in Zoom to ensure smooth playback without interruptions.
Additional Tips for Effective Screen Sharing on Zoom:
Prepare Beforehand:
Whether you're using a desktop or mobile device, make sure that everything you need to share is open and ready. This saves time during the meeting and avoids unnecessary delays.
Use a Stable Internet Connection:
Screen sharing requires a good internet connection to function smoothly. A slow connection can result in lag or a distorted screen. Use a wired connection if possible, or connect to a reliable Wi-Fi network.
Test Your Audio:
If you’re sharing a video or audio with your screen, always test your audio beforehand to ensure your participants can hear the sound.
Practice with Zoom Features:
Before your presentation or meeting, familiarize yourself with Zoom’s additional features like annotations, whiteboards, and advanced screen-sharing settings. This will help you make the most of the screen-sharing experience.
Security and Privacy:
Be cautious about what you’re sharing, especially in public or large meetings. Avoid displaying sensitive or personal information. Use the “Pause Share” option if you need to quickly hide something.
Troubleshooting Screen Sharing Issues on Zoom
If you run into any issues while screen sharing, here are some common troubleshooting tips:
I Can't See the Share Screen Button:
Ensure that you’re the host or that the host has enabled screen sharing for participants. The "Share Screen" button may not appear if the host has disabled screen sharing for others.
Screen Sharing Is Lagging:
If your screen share is lagging or pixelated, check your internet connection. Switch to a wired connection or closer to a Wi-Fi router. Also, try lowering the quality of the video or turning off unnecessary applications.
Audio Isn't Working When Sharing Screen:
If you're sharing a video, make sure to check the “Share Computer Sound” option when using the desktop version of Zoom. For mobile devices, ensure that your audio settings are configured correctly.
Can't Share Screen on Mobile:
If screen sharing isn’t available on your mobile device, ensure that you have the latest version of the Zoom app installed. Sometimes updating the app solves compatibility issues.
Conclusion
Zoom’s screen sharing feature is incredibly versatile, allowing users to share content from their desktop, Android, or iOS devices. By following the step-by-step instructions in this guide, you can easily present information, collaborate with team members, or assist clients in a virtual environment. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned Zoom user, mastering the screen sharing feature will elevate your virtual meetings, making them more productive and interactive.
