In the topmost video clip, I can be seen walking at Kumbhalgarh Fort along with my husband while in the bottom most video clip, our wonderful guide can be seen talking to my husband, explaining about the glorious history of this place.
*********************************************
Some very interesting facts about this place:
* The wall at Kumbhalgarh Fort stretches over 36 kilometers, second only to Great Wall of China.
* This Fort was built by Rana Kumbha, a ruler of the Mewar region in the North Western State of Rajasthan, India.
* The wall has never been breached.
* It served as a refuge for the rulers of Mewar.
* There are 360 temples in that area.
* The Fort has seven gates.
* The Fort is surrounded by a Wildlife Sanctuary.
* A spectacular light & sound show is held every evening in the complex depicting the history of the place.
* It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2013.

Hobie can and will carry his friends around when they’re walking slow as hell/getting distracted and he really doesn’t feel like being patient. Gwen in one arm and Miles in the other with Pavitr standing horizontal on his back, Hobie has places to be and he isn’t letting them stop him. He’s hardly ever on time to anything, so the things he wants to be on time for are very important to him.

dehradun days
you meet them for the first time,
knowing it's probably the last.
might as well make the most of this time,
since life comes at you fast.
you find the strangest of signals
in the no-network zones.
cross-tent communication with folks,
just rambling about the unknown.
there's the warmth of shared laughter,
that carries you through freezing nights,
and you look up at the flickering stars,
to finally see things in a different light.
and at 11,000 ft above sea level
you finally reach the peak,
just to realise the joy was in the journey,
and the friends you made that week.
you'll visit caves & splendid cafes,
and remember the city in mere parts,
but years later, you'll still tell everyone,
how dehradun captured your heart.

Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand is a sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. This ancient temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, which are the most revered Shiva temples in India. Located high in the Himalayas at an altitude of 3,583 meters (11,755 feet), Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand sits near the head of the Mandakini River and is surrounded by breathtaking snow-capped mountains. According to legend, the Pandavas from the epic Mahabharata built the temple, and it was later renovated by the great philosopher and saint Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century.
