okay so i haven't watched in MONTHS but i just spent the last few days binge watching season 2 so as per usual here are my reactions throughout the ENTIRE season. i need season 3 like yesterday.

Stray AU | Fabian Madrigal

Fabian Madrigal is the two week old son of Dolores Madrigal and Diego Moreno, and the youngest brother of 5-year-old Felicity. 

He was born via a C-section, though it was funny and adorable that he pouted a few seconds out of the womb before wailing his complaints to the nurses and his parents. Dolores recovered easily with the help of Watcher Julieta’s healing and bed-rest. 

He was called Fabian after great-uncle, Diego’s Tio, Fabian who Diego saw as a great man with a loving spirit... However Felicity remembers her father’s description of Tio Fabian as a man who once ate a tide-pod as a child.

Unlike his older sister who looked remarkably like their mother, Fabian’s looks was inherited straight from his Maternal Abuela, Much like how Isabela looked like Alma. But, unlike Pepa, Fabian’s eye don’t match, both a green eye with a few flecks of brown in his left eye and his right eye if half-green and brown. 

Segmental Heterochromia in both eyes: meaning two colours present in each of his irises: a trait inherited from his paternal line, but hadn’t resurfaced for two generations; Diego’s Abuela had a brown eye and a blue eye.

Despite being a baby, he favours his mother and sleeps easily to his Sister’s humming, though the latter in most part to her vocal gift. He doesn’t like to be put down and would cry for hours until held. He can only tolerate being put down when in his crib for the night but even then he’s clingy. A pacifier as been a wonder for both his parents to keep him content. He grew a mass of red curls, but often winds up pulling on it and making himself cry so hats are often used to keep his hands away.

His great uncle, Agustin made him a yellow baby blanket, in part to reference Pepa and her colours but also because Dolores did like yellow; believing that one of her kids should at least have one of their grandparents colour; even if they don’t have hers. Dolores dislikes the colour red after getting mauled by the jaguar; the red reminds her too much of blood.

How did Dolores look like during her wedding and can you describe the event

This is something of her wedding dress! Slim fitting, traditional white with a little colour; blue than red given she's raided by Agustin though kept a little red in her earrings. Some floral designs to complement her appearance and to break up the white she's wearing.

The Event.

It was a town event, like any other wedding though given these two started as outsiders, her saving Agustin, there's a lot more fondness with her and her Tio.

It took two years of planning, Diego proposed when she was about 18 but due to money, they couldn't afford it so soon so they waited- this gave the two a cool-down so people relaxed to know it was serious and not an on-the-spot proposal was given how young they are. That was always the general concern with Diego and Dolores's family.

But, they were happily married after two years of saving for it. They pulled a lot of favours to afford it, worked a lot more hours and Agustin was able to help get the two their own place with the help of Diego's parents for their wedding gift.

Agustin was the one to walk Dolores down the aisle as hard as it was (the wedding was 3 years after the accident), and both his sons were the ring bearers though Diego's sister, Clara was the flower girl --she was 13-14 at the time and dumped the entire case of flowers onto Miguel's head once she got to the end with excess flowers.

There were tears on both sides, and Dolores cried herself. Both were in the joy of being married but they both knew they were missing the rest of the family, even though Agustin didn't remember them anymore. It was something they knew her family were missing out on.

Due to Dolores's gift (or condition as the town knew) she had earplugs and frequent breaks from guests after the ceremony to stop her being completely overwhelmed.

There was a thunderstorm, but at the reception after which did force people inside to continue the party but Dolores enjoyed it; feeling like her mother was there in a sense.

Lots of photographs were taken and both sides of the family have them tucked away in photo albums.

Agustin was able to drink Diego's father, Jovan under the table before the two passed out. Clara and Diego's mother looked after the boys and made sure to get the two home and with buckets. (Agustin chose not to drink alcohol again after that wake-up.)

She had very good night once the event was over.
