_____________________________________________
seungcheol who is already head over heels for his desi girl, have seen her in saree before and almost lost his shit cuz how beautiful she was looking, cheol knows indian ethnic wears as you have showed him a lot of different styles when he once pointed how good that one short top with full sleeves with a ball type bottom looks cute, making a mental note to wear it once.
Today was the day, your mother send you a white salwar kameez for you and kurta pajama for cheol.
wearing it immediately you thought to surprise cheol, walking in the bedroom you spotted cheol lazily scrolling on his phone while laying on the couch, you called his name when he answer back a hm still looking at his phone, when no reply received he looked up, there you standing in your glory while fixing your white net dupatta, his eyes staring at you in surprise and adoration, you were looking so gorgeous his heart race up, the beet color on his cheek as he look at you from head to toe, mouth agape eyes wide open trying absorb the beautiful scenery  in front of him, he was down bad for you already but sky's the limit just like cheol’s love, he is so whipped looking at you right now in your beautiful colors and style it makes him want you more and more.
He stood up from the couch walking towards you still with his eyes on you as if you are the only thing exist, he stood in front of you, he held your arms from both side saying “you are looking so pretty jaan, literally so pretty its taking my breath away.”making you shy at his compliment, he took your right palm spinning you suddenly, making you face the mirror behind, sliding all your open hair on the left shoulder resting his face on other, he said “look there, my gorgeous girl,” he kissed your shoulder, “always so pretty” he slide a bit up from the previous place and left a lingering kiss “so cute” another kiss sliding up on your nape, the words reducing into whispers, hands wrapped around your waist  “so endearing”, sliding up more he nibbles right below your ear as he leave another kiss ,you turned around still in his strong arms, keeping your hands on his chest to push him a bit, he pout at you wanting to go for a kiss before you stop him a bit more firmly, he raised his eyebrows with the pout still there, you tell him “my mother send it for me, and she send you something to wear too, so go and change into it” handing him the bag he peek down inside taking it and going to change, some time later the bathroom door open he walked out from it, pulling up the sleeves of the black kurta, looking so fine, and fit and muscular, his buff chest and his forearms showing with the veins, now it was your turn to be breathless, he looked so hot in it, you knew it he will look hot in it but still wasnt ready for this scene in front of you, “you look so hot in it cheol” you said while keeping your palm on your mouth in surprise, “ am i?” he smirks, walking towards you “well my mother in law choose it so obviously its going to look good” he kisses your forehead and continues “should we take photos and send it to maa?”
Taking pictures after pictures while cheol keeps stealing kisses from you, cheek, lips, neck, nose, hand, no part was spared by his kisses, and he did send those kissing pictures to your mother, hehe.

DPS Girls & what's on their FYP (headcanons) This is very self indulgent but these are my hcs for what I think would be on each dps girls' fyp on tiktok c: they're under the cut - enjoy !
Elizabeth Caledonia “Calamity” / Ashe: Elizabeth's fyp is definitely littered with weaponry videos, especially historical ones where they restore them. Chainmail, swords, guns used in the American Revolution, things like that. She likes the videos where people show off their historical lighters too, and her fyp reflects that. On the other hand, she's definitely got a good amount of luxury lifestyle videos where people show off their designer items, high end perfumes, etc.
Echo: Echo's fyp is often a reflection of her need to understand humans - she watches a lot of TED talk videos reuploaded to tiktok, and likes to watch those ai generated videos from reddit with the story times. It's her guilty pleasure, and she often finds them interesting, especially when she reads the comments and sees the plethora of different opinions and perspectives. Plus, it helps her unwind after a difficult day since she doesn't need to focus on them too heavily to know what's going on.
Mei-Ling Zhou: Mei has an affinity for those calming, relaxation videos with rain sounds that have the most beautiful sceneries. She likes vicariously living through the pictures of mountains or fields people post when they're hiking, and loves to indulge in the beauty of the scenes they're in. It's something that helps bring back her passion if she's lost it in that moment. Besides from that, she gets a lot of activism posts ever since she deep dived the meaning behind the phrase ‘flowers are blooming on Antarctica’ and heard Lena talking about the Just Stop Oil movement in the UK. Mei enjoys seeing people actively fighting for the planet, and it's something she'll always interact with.
Fareeha Amari / Pharah: With Fareeha's lifestyle, she would definitely have gymtok flooding her fyp - she likes to get new ideas for workouts, and loves exploring new brands to try for her own leisure and fitness. She gets the occasional video about family and generational trauma, with it being something she resonates with. But, she likes to have some humour on her FYP and she'd definitely be the type to have freaky bob sort of videos on it.
Vivian Chase / Sojourn: Vivian enjoys alcohol related videos, especially if they're aesthetic. She likes to watch wine bottle dipping, the process of making wine out of unconventional ingredients like sweets. It's her guilty pleasure, and she finds them pleasing to the eye. On the other hand, she'd probably have those reuploaded tiktok videos with the questionable videos next to them (iykyk), and she unironically likes them a lot.
Olivia Colomar / Sombra: Olivia's fyp is definitely in the ravetok sort of area of things - she loves to watch videos of Boiler Room sets, rave outfits, etc. and it's her guilty pleasure. Anything related to rave or club culture is on her fyp for sure. She loves videos about fashion too, especially cyberpunk fashion. It's something she'll always like and it gives her ideas for her own outfits.
Satya Vaswani / Symmetra: Satya has a guilty pleasure for videos where people make digital art on roblox, in VR, that sort of thing. Something about it tickles her brain just right. On that note, she definitely enjoys those ASMR slime/clay videos too for the fact that they help her unwind mentally (even when she's somewhat judging small details in the video like the creator's nails or movements). However, she would definitely have videos about Indian culture, exploring her heritage. She misses India, and so her fyp would have the occasional video about Sarees or about the upcoming Diwali date/plans people have to celebrate.
Lena Oxton / Tracer: On Lena's fyp, you can expect to see videos about extreme sports or thrill-seeking activities, like skydiving, bungee jumping, pole vaulting, BMX racing, drag racing, etc. She enjoys watching and envies them for their ability to have the guts to go through with it. It inspires her and makes her want to explore more avenues of adventure in life, especially with Emily. On the other hand, she definitely gets a lot of Olympic content on her fyp and is up to date with the current events and drama surrounding the Olympics.
Amelie Lacroix / Widowmaker: Amelie binge-watches Nara Smith's content sorry not sorry. She loves aesthetic, calming cooking videos she can mindlessly watch. She lives vicariously through the videos, especially if the creator is a married woman with children. It sometimes brings her mood down, but she mostly focuses on how good the food looks and how accurate French dishes are. She likes to watch videos of people attempting to bake desserts, especially macarons, and always comments tips and tricks she's learned or been taught in the past to help the creator and others.

Notes on Chapter 7 and 8
I have quite a few notes on these chapters, so I figured I'd be a little more detailed here instead of typing up and entire paragraph over on ao3.
Starting with chapter 7: Nag/Naag and Nagin/Naagin are cobra shapeshifters. They are born as cobras and after a 100 years of pentenance/repentance (not sure what the word is) they are blessed by the god Shiva and get a human shape.
I very loosely used this story since iirc they don't actually have magic? It's just something I wanted to incorporate into the story bc I was discussing the myth with my mother a little while back and it just gave me this idea.
The main story for nag/nagin is that usually the male gets killed for his pearl and then the female of the pair (or his family) takes revenge on the one that killed him.
Another (not so) fun fact is that the face of their killer gets ingraved into their eyes as they die so their family can avenge them. Chapter 8: A saree is traditional indian wear. It is essentially a long piece of fabric that is wrapped around the body as a skirt and thrown over the shoulder.
Ganga is a hindu goddess and also a personification of a river. In mythology she was cast from the heavens(?) and caught by the god Shiva in his hair. There are multiple stories to this with differences, but that's a bit of backstory.
In the story her real name is Ila(ila without capital I for easy reading purposes) which can mean either "earth" or "speech" I used the "earth" meaning to match with the name of her mate, Parvin.
Parvin, which actually originated from Persian and means "the pleiades" refers to a group of stars in the constellation taurus.
I liked the contrast between the stars and the earth which is the only reason that's their names hehe. I liked the name Parvin and actually didn't have Ganga's real name until the end. I initially wanted to call her Anisha (nightless/sleepless), but I like Ila better. So yeah that's the end of my notes.
(side note: I researched most of the names just because I wanted them to be a little meaningful, but in the end I didn't do much with the meaning.)

soren with an indian darling would be sm fun to see. I can hundred percent see them as someone who is opposite of him. Someone who doesnt like street food, cant play any instrument to save her life etc. Same with ryuu do ykwim?
a/n: YES I LOVE GETTING ALL THESE DIFFERENT BACKGROUND DARLINGS LETS GOOOO also im sooo sorry but i don't know what you mean *sobs* so i hope i understood correctly! i wrote about both of them having an indian partner and their indian partner is opposite in personality of them

warning: gender neutral reader

Soren with an Indian darling is literally all his parents have wished for LOL like yeah, he's a successful superstar but when will he get married? He's getting old! And, for some reason, though he's charming and sweet with all the girls his parents and the matchmaker bring to him, he manages to escape marriage every single time.
So, they're happy to find that he's brought home someone, regardless of gender. They just want him to be happy after all (and to bring them grandchildren in any way possible LOL). It's just a super bonus that the partner is Indian LMAO
He'd definitely be a little out of his element with a darling that's opposite of him but it doesn't matter as long as he's fallen in love.
Opposite of him would probably be a uptight traditional darling who doesn't really like getting in the middle of a bustling market or in the middle of the street to get food, someone who can't whole a tone to save their life, who follows rules to a T and takes a lot of stuff seriously all the time.
And that's all good! Soren would definitely flourish with a more strict darling. He needs someone that can kind of keep him in place and he'd love to drag his darling out of their comfort zone. Basically, the two of them would balance each other out perfectly.
Then, of course, Soren would still love to cook you good Indian comfort food. If he can't bring you with him to the food stalls, he'll bring the good Indian food to you. And it'll remind his darling of food from home, exactly the way they'd have eaten it when they were growing up.
The music thing might be a bit rough at first but he'll hold all the musical talent for the both of you. He also might have a little bit of fun trying to teach you.
The most fun of all for him would be dressing up a traditional darling. If you wear traditional Indian clothes like sarees and sherwanis, he'll find you the absolutely most gorgeous ones and have you wear them for him. He doesn't typically wear them but, if it means matching with you, he'd definitely do it.
And the really great part about an Indian darling is that Soren's born in America. He's never really been able to connect with his heritage. He definitely spent a lot of time in India with his extended family but he's always felt detached a little bit.
He'd really love it if his Indian darling could share their love of their heritage and their culture with him so that he could learn to love it a lot more.
Tumblr media
ryuunosuke yamamoto ★ profile
An Indian darling wouldn't be as impactful for Ryuu as it would be for Soren. But, still, Ryuu would want to share in your culture. He'd always be asking his darling to share more and more with him and he'd honestly end up loving the culture just as much as he loves his darling.
An opposite darling with Ryuu would be someone who, like Soren's, would follow all the rules to a T but they'd also be the type to not really follow anyone. They'd be headstrong and be able to make decisions for themselves without really looking to others for ques. They'd also be the type of person to be very sociable but, unlike Ryuu, their form true bonds with people and really do care for the people they hang around with.
A leader-like darling would be best case scenario with Ryuu. Though he can be aggressive at times and very stubborn too, Ryuu has lived his entire life under someone else, following their orders. And he honestly would prefer it that way. So, to have a darling that could be that new person that'll give him orders? It makes Ryuu absolutely happy.
Ryuu wouldn't even mind that his darling is sociable and has a lot of close friends. Most yanderes would be but Ryuu has that much faith in his relationship with his darling.
And, if anything bad happens, he can make it good again with his bare hands

From Traditional to Trendy: Transform Your Look with Fancy Sarees
Introduction
Tumblr media
Sarees are an integral part of Indian culture and have been worn for centuries, symbolizing grace and elegance. While traditional sarees hold a special place in our hearts, there's also a growing trend of embracing fancy sarees that add a touch of modernity and sophistication to your look. In this article, we will explore the world of fancy sarees, their types, how to choose the perfect one, styling tips, and more.
The Rich Heritage of Sarees
Tumblr media
Sarees have a rich history and diverse regional variations across India. They are often made from luxurious fabrics like silk, chiffon, georgette, and cotton. Traditional sarees are known for their intricate handwoven designs, vibrant colors, and exquisite craftsmanship.
Embracing Fashion Trends with Fancy Sarees
Tumblr media
Fancy sarees are a fusion of traditional and contemporary styles, allowing you to experiment with new fashion trends. These sarees incorporate modern elements such as embroidery, sequins, prints, and unique draping styles. By wearing a fancy saree, you can make a bold fashion statement while still honoring the roots of Indian culture.
Types of Fancy Sarees
Embroidered Sarees
Embroidered sarees are a popular choice for weddings and special occasions. They feature intricate threadwork or beadwork that enhances the overall beauty of the saree. You can find embroidered sarees in various designs, including floral motifs, paisleys, and geometric patterns.
Designer Sarees
Designer sarees are crafted by renowned fashion designers, combining traditional craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. These sarees are often one-of-a-kind creations, featuring unique embellishments, unconventional draping styles, and innovative fabric combinations.
Printed Sarees
Printed sarees are a versatile and affordable option for both casual and formal wear. They come in a wide range of prints, such as floral, abstract, geometric, and ethnic motifs. Printed sarees are lightweight and comfortable, making them suitable for everyday wear.
Sequined Sarees
Sequined sarees are perfect for glamorous events and parties. These sarees are adorned with sequins or small reflective discs that create a shimmering effect when caught in the light. Sequins can be scattered all over the saree or concentrated on specific areas like the border or pallu.
Choosing the Perfect Fancy Saree
When selecting a fancy saree, there are a few factors to consider to ensure it complements your style and occasion.
Consider the Occasion
Choose a saree that matches the formality of the event. Opt for heavily embellished sarees for weddings and festivals, while lighter and simpler designs are suitable for casual gatherings.
Identify Your Body Type
Different draping styles and fabric choices can enhance your body type. If you have a petite frame, opt for lighter fabrics and delicate prints. If you have a curvier figure, choose sarees with vertical patterns or slimming designs.
Play with Colors and Patterns
Experiment with different colors and patterns to express your personal style. Bold and vibrant colors make a statement, while pastel shades offer an elegant and subtle look. Consider your skin tone and the occasion when selecting the color palette.
Explore Different Fabrics
Each fabric has its own unique drape and texture. Silk sarees exude elegance, while chiffon and georgette sarees offer a more lightweight and flowy appeal. Cotton sarees are perfect for casual settings and hot climates.
Styling Tips for Fancy Sarees
Blouse Designs
The blouse complements the saree and can significantly impact your overall look. Choose a blouse design that suits your body type and personal style. Experiment with different necklines, sleeve lengths, and back designs to create a fashionable ensemble.
Draping Styles
The draping style of the saree can transform its appearance. You can opt for traditional draping styles like the Nivi or experiment with modern and innovative drapes. YouTube tutorials and online resources can help you learn various draping techniques.
Accessorizing
Complete your fancy saree look with the right accessories. Statement jewelry, such as necklaces, earrings, and bangles, can elevate your outfit. Consider the saree's design and colors when selecting accessories to ensure a harmonious and balanced look.
Taking Care of Your Fancy Sarees
To maintain the beauty and longevity of your fancy sarees, it's essential to follow proper care and storage practices.
Proper Storage
Store your sarees in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Fold them neatly or hang them using padded hangers to avoid creasing. Consider using fabric bags or covers to protect them from dust and moisture.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Follow the care instructions provided with your saree. Some sarees may require dry cleaning, while others can be hand-washed or machine-washed. Treat stains promptly and avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach. Iron the saree at a low temperature or as recommended by the manufacturer.
Conclusion
Fancy sarees offer a delightful blend of tradition and contemporary fashion, allowing you to transform your look with elegance and style. By choosing the right type of fancy saree, experimenting with draping styles, and accessorizing thoughtfully, you can create stunning ensembles for various occasions. Remember to take good care of your sarees to preserve their beauty for years to come.

My Indian Nymph ch:1
Finally, he had arrived, Thomas William Hiddleston, the actor, heartthrob of many women had arrived in India, more specifically Mahabalipuram, Chennai to attend his sister's wedding. His elder sister Sarah was getting married tomorrow.
He was glad not many people recognized him. The cab was waiting. The sun was setting but still he was sweating, apparently the climate in Chennai was different from his home. Even though it was evening it was hot and humid he desperately wanted to go to his hotel room and have a cold shower. Yes, that would help him cool down.
But apparently traffic had other plans. He had never once in his life seen such traffic, there were all types of vehicles. God how he wanted a bed and a cool shower.
At last he reached the hotel "Radisson Blu Resort" the board read. He was fascinated by the hospitality of the people, the receptionist greeted him by joining her palms together, bowing down slightly and by uttering "Vannakkam" with a huge radiant smile. He noted that she was wearing a bun with kajol lining her hazel eyes, red coloured lipstick and a Bindi. The attire he tried to remember 'What was it again'........'Ah a Saree' he guessed.
His room was big with a four-poster bed, an AC and a view with the seashore and the temple 'Mesmerizing he thought with the sun in the background it looked glorious.
He took out his phone to capture the view but was met by his sister's call. He immediately picked it up.
"Tom!!!", a joyous voice he immediately recognized yelled.
"Hey Sis", he responded enthusiastically.
After answering Sarah, informing that he had arrived safely and had a good flight, he had a hearty dinner consisting of meals which he would admit were a bit spicy but mouth-watering and tasty and a cold shower. The British actor drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tumblr media
It was a beautiful evening, the darshan had been wonderful as usual, Aadhya Aacharya, the daughter of the most famous architect, Aaditya Aacharya, and daughter of the most famous lawyer, Renuka Aacharya. The future heir of the famous building group, 'Aacharya group of builders'. She had all the luxuries 'of course perks of being the daughter of a CEO and lawyer' she thought. She saw Ram, the son of the rival company's CEO, waiting at the footstep of the temple's exit. She despised that man. He was persistent in marrying her. Shiva!!! how she wanted the ground to swallow her. Thank God it seemed the lord heard her prayers her trustworthy driver, Anna, came to rescue.
After arriving home, she decided she needed a good night's sleep since she had a dance performance at the temple early morning and later a wedding in the evening at the Radisson Blu hotel to attend. It was the wedding of her best friend, Aarav, the heir to the blue ocean shipping company. Aadhya knew Aarav by meeting him in a few of her father's meetings and eventually bounded together on their studies.
She drifted off into a dreamless sleep. Not knowing that the events of tomorrow are going to change her life forever for good or for bad.

No matter how carefully you plan, it's simple to forget to include small details. Even if all of the brides keep their gowns and jewels in check, cosmetics often make the list but hairstyles frequently don't. Surprisingly, good Bridal Hair and Makeup are just as crucial to a bride's wedding look as makeup. There are many different bridal hairstyles to pick from to complement your wedding attire and cosmetics, depending on the type of bridal look you have in mind for your big day.
Here are Special Hair Styles for your Special Day
1. Super Gorgeous White Flower Bun
When it comes to taming it down and enhancing your appearance, this white flower bun comes into play. You can have a splash of color in your wedding décor or even your wedding attire. Wear your bridal lehenga or saree on a special day with this bridal bun decorated with a bouquet of white flowers. If you want an extravagant hairdo to match your wedding attire, this bridal hairstyle with matha Patti looks amazing. It is always in season.
2. Open Hair Bridal Look- Way to Elegance

So, one of the season's most exquisite trends, the open-hair look, is here for brides who prefer to keep it simple on their heads. This wonderful Indian bridal hairstyle is perfect for you if you prefer to keep your hair as natural-looking as possible and don't like to use many heavy hair ornaments. You can get by with straight hair and a tiny maang tikka.
3. Simple Braid with the Traditional Naga Jadai
It is okay to show off your accessories on your wedding day. So, take a look at this bridal hairdo if you want a cool hair accessory to be the day's focal point. It's time to put an end to your search with this straightforward matha Patti bridal hairstyle. Love how this stunning bride adorned a basic braid with naga jadai for her wedding day.
4. Braided Updo with a Touch of Flowers
On their wedding day, brides desire to appear sophisticated, so why not select a hairdo that expresses that? This delicate braided updo is a classy hairstyle for Indian brides and goes well with a reception gown or designer saree. To create a wedding outfit, accessorize with complementary florals!
5. Rose Bun with a Messy Fishtail Braid
For your mehndi or sangeet, try this lovely wedding hairdo with a sloppy fishtail braid and a rose bun. You may take it a step further by embellishing the braid with baby-breath flowers to give it a more elegant appearance. If you want to wear a saree to your wedding, it might also be a fantastic hairstyle.
6. Bridal Hairstyle with Multicolor Flowers
For an outdoor day wedding, this elegant haircut is perfect to pair with a pastel-colored lehenga or saree. The simple bun seems much too lovely to pass up, especially with the multicolored roses and baby breath! Therefore, why choose only one hue when you can have the most attractive appearance for your special day?
7. Side Fringe Bridal Hairstyle
If you enjoy Indian wedding hairstyles, this one features a chic bun adorned with lovely jasmine blossoms and a voluminous side fringe that has been blow-dried. The lesson from this one is that it complements Indian bridal attire beautifully.
