These were made by my mom, who does wire art and she made a fuck ton. So I have some and I twisted the stems into different sized rings! There are tutorials out there on how to make them if you want to do these yourself, it involves making wire frames that you then dip in glue and paint with nail polish once they dry
Sorry for the bad lighting but it's the best I could do for now lol
newest hyperfix hobby: jewelry making! made a werewolf-y inspired necklace inspired by the red moon pendant i found in my childhood home + some matching bracelets for me and my partner
Trying to decide which ring matches the bracelet better...
All are made using memory wire; I wanted to finish the set with a slightly-darker-than-the-bracelet ring, that's why I used mainly black beads. The left one, weirdly, got a little disfigured when I was making the finishing loop, but I think I was able to fix it. However, I still prefer the ring on the right, although it isn't as similar to the bracelet... That's why I'm curious to find out what other people's opinions would be :) .
Another photo for reference, although it's quality is a bit worse, cause my phone's camera is not very good itself:
A personal project that I’ve been working on! I love the Lunar Envoy Tathlums in Final Fantasy XIV, so I tried to recreate it in wire wrap. It was a really fun project and I learned a lot! It’s made with tarnish-resistant craft wire, suede, howlite and of course, moonstone!
First steps in making wire jewelry. My newly bought cheap hammer from the hardware store transferred some texture in the wire. Now I wet sanded the tool with 1200 grit sandpaper and it seems smooth. Too late for these spirals. Eh, it’s not a big deal right now 🙃
Made some new jewelry. Come see it if you'd like. Also started a new contest. You can win 50% off any of my shops wares. Also the characters name is Doodle. Shes my own original character.
It's not the cleanest wrap I've ever done (or the most stable), but I'll call it a good first attempt at a wire-wrapped prong setting. It'll ultimately be a pendant, I think, but I wanted to practice first, and rings are relatively quick.
