I know we’re all ‘eat the rich’ and ‘fuck the police’ here...
But does anyone else get this feeling of resentment that you feel isn’t healthy, even if you feel you’re completely justified in it?
#personal#anti mcu#fandom critical#fandom criticism#Anti-MCU#time to get real#like for me it's against Disney (the mcu in particular)#a lot of my online friends tend to take this glass half full approach to it#even though a lot of the defenses sound completely ridiculous when applying them to a corporation as old and powerful as Disney#Like I feel like I can't talk to people about it because so many people just see the MCU as this cinematic masterpiece#Except I'm literally proof that someone can get burnt out on it#And we've seen other corporations of similar size and age treat people working for them with just as much contempt#So why does Disney get a pass?#Does what essentially amounts to Michael Bay films with romcom sensibilities get that much credit?#it scares me#especially when the MCU doesn't really show any signs of stopping in spite of the fact that their formula has failed#twice#and it feels like the superhero genre is suffering for it#If there's anyone else who feels like this please let me know
