At Infinite Hearts Animal Sanctuary and Rescue, our mission is to provide a loving, safe haven for animals in need and help them find their forever homes. How to Adopt

Last night while we were playing, he decided to jump quite high to grab his toy from my hand.. did a backflip mid air and landed on his lower back and legs. Poor thing started screeching and crying from pain for a good consecutive 5 minutes and it was the scariest thing ever!:( We quickly rushed him to the emergencies where they took him in for an X-ray. X-ray came out saying he's got a tibial crest avulsion, this basically occurs when the paddle tendon pulls the front of the tibia off the rest of the bone. He's not able to stand up at all or even defecate as he can't bend down to 'pee' or 'poo' and needs to undergo surgery.. The surgery will involve having metal screws and a wire tension band inserted into the knee which will hopefully then help realign his knee so he can walk again. The surgery itself is quite expensive along with all the xrays and post surgery therapy sessions that he'll need to undergo.. so I've set up this GOFUND me page (LINK IS IN MY BIO)... any any ANY help no matter how small the donation would mean so much to us! Another big load of food today for all the homeless dogs and cats of California! We are really trying to get so much done and accomplished so many things but it is definitely tough. I am still looking around for a storage container that can be donated but realistically we are going to have to come up with a $2500 to buy one. A lot as happened in the last couple of days and it has been an emotional roller coaster. We do really need any extra love and donations right now to help out with all the medical problems.
