*Notes: I love making comics but find the writing process difficult, this is something I need to work on, as I have so many ideas but struggle to write them out. I stumbled upon Lucian's Dialogues on Tumblr and thought his charming, tongue-in-cheek style would be a good way for me to practice my comic-making. :')

"Lucian of Samosata was a Greek satirist who flourished in the region of Commagene near Syria in the C2nd A.D. He was the author of numerous works, which include: The Dialogues of the Gods, Dialogues of the Sea Gods, and Dialogues of the Dead."

I opted for a simple color scheme because as much as I love full-color comics, it would take me so much longer to get this done.

Hey, sorry to bother you, I've read the 32nd chapter of Dr on the Ground, I'm very scared for these two, I have deep anxiety. This story is super awesome, I experienced incredible emotions with each chapter, it's very cool, I can't describe it in words. Hey and happy new year to you too. Thank you for your lovely words about the fic. I have started writing again after a long period of time. My father got sick and my sisters and I nursed him at home. It's taken a long time to recover from his passing. I am finding the joy in writing again and hope to post the last chapter soon. okay so like, i'm curious for one thing. does reader in DOTG actually has a thing for older men? if i'm not mistaken, before this she has been with some guy that's in his thirties right? so that makes me curious if reader's type is someone who's older than her lol

that was definitely intentional, though maybe has less to do with a type than circumstance.

one of the defining characteristics of this reader is that she had to take on way too much responsibility too soon, which has affected her self image and ability to relate to her peers.

she went to work right out of high school at a factory where all the people around were much older. because that's where she was spending her time - and because she didn't want to be around her peers who were having the university experience she coveted - it's no surprise that's where she found her boyfriends. and it wasn't all good either. i'd say reader had some ok relationships and some where she was definitely exploited a bit during that period of her life, but it did teach her a lot about sex/relationships.

going back to university then, she's older than most of the other freshmen and not just in age but in maturity and life experience, which makes dating hard. add in that she wanted a dom/sub relationship, and her options were going to be a little limited.

when she met rindou, she wasn't attracted to him because of his age but because of his behavior. that said...yeah, she's only dated men older than her, so it's definitely had at least a subliminal impact on her attraction.

This game is a prequel to Disciples of the Gun and introduces players to the world, lore and narrative style featured within. 

Both games are based in gritty, hard sci-fi. Disciples will feature  mechanics ranging from simple linear storytelling to relationships, combat, map navigation, puzzle solving, codices, dice-rolling, stats/levels, linguistics and math. 

If you're looking to casually drop-in to the setting of DOTG, El Malei is a good starting point. It should take about 5-10 minutes to complete and is largely a short story - gameplay mechanics are much more limited.  Be warned that El Malei deals with mature and difficult subject matter such as human trafficking, child abuse, domestic violence and drug addiction. If this type of content is upsetting to you, you should skip El Malei.

Something i finally remembered is how when it comes to the animated adaptions of Spawn & Invincible, both Image comics, ironically had some inverse. The hbo spawn series while still dark, was far more tamer than the comic while the Invincible comic early on was fairly tame, even during the deaths of the DoTG & Mark's fight with Nolan but the Amazon adaptation made things even more gorey & violent such as the scene of Nolan wrecking the Flaxan homeworld which was not in the comic

Do you think DOTG rindou would like to be called daddy in bed? if yes, would his girl ever be into it as well? I just recently caught up with the story and it just came to mind 🩷 it’s so good.

i think if reader ever called DTG rindou "daddy" in bed, he would safeword immediately lol

no but seriously, rindou wants to exclusively be called 'sir' because it's the title that symbolizes the entire sexual dynamic he wants. the daddy dom thing implies to rindou a kind of well, paternal dynamic, protection, coddling, discipline only when earned. rindou wants to hurt the reader just for his own satisfaction, he wants complete obedience and submission. he may treat reader sweetly outside a scene, but in it? there is no coddling, so the 'daddy' thing just doesn't do it for him. (also, lowkey think it would make him feel old and gross, while he wants to feel young and fit in with reader's university friends haha)

as for reader, i don't think she'd be as immediately turned off by it, but she's never gonna get the chance to try

“Dylan!” shrieked Eisfara, cutting a jagged curve beneath the boiling clouds, but already their voice was changing shape again to a crow’s cry; already the storm’s surly wind was rising. “Dylan, Dylan, Dylan! Caw, caw, caw...” 

WATER

Far below the river ran its busy, merry course, chuckling and gurgling over private jokes and stacks of stones, twinkling in the sun where its watery robes spread thin as green glass, foaming in falls finer than any lady’s lace.
