Contributor Applications Are Open!

We are looking for a team of artists, writers, and beta readers to help produce our 2025 charity calendar! This year's theme is Thedas' Myths & Legends.

🚨 Applications will be open until Friday, June 14th, 2024.🚨

Please Note:

All contributors are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct DAA is a not-for-profit project and all contributions are done on a voluntary basis. There is no monetary or product compensation for contributors Contributors will need to complete works in 2 - 4 months to meet production deadlines. We ask that you only apply if you are confident in your ability to deliver your assigned piece(s) on that timeline. We do not accept any applications of AI-generated works or where others' creations have been traced or used as "bases". All works should be your own.

So now that 2023 is almost over, I decided I didn't quite want to say goodbye to this years amazing artwork in the Dragon Age Annual (even tho the replacement 2024 one is absolutely stunning).

So, I decided to buy a couple of frames and frame my favourite months to go next to my gaming pc, so I can have them with me always but ALSO so I can continue to treasure them for years to come.

And it's genuinely turned out so nicely!

Special shout out to the artists who worked on these particular months @nurabelmax @the-upper-shelf and @margaw and also special shout out to the organisers @dragonageannual.

For 2023 you brought me so much joy, being able to support a good cause while experiencing monthly artwork by excellent artists. The 2024 calender arrived for me recently and it is truly stunning (no doubt I'll be framing some of the ones from this year too). I will continue to support the dragon age annual group for as long as you produce these - they are truly a little highlight of my life 😊

Fact is oghren loved branka in the way y’all can only put in fanfic & wattpad kidnapped by one direction stories. Oghren loved his paragon so much that he drove his entire house into the dust just for a CHANCE to fight for her. 2 entire years he spent banging on the doors of the assembly/palace demanding she not be abandoned. Of course it drove him to drinking and raging and drinking some more, he was taught that paragons are living GODS (pretty much) and was contending with the cruel, shattering reality that it’s been reduced to just face and politics. And there’s a lot to unpack about political corruption there but there is also a note to be made about how far into the abyss the darkspawn have pushed his proud people into over generations upon generations. He isn’t just mourning branka he is mourning honor and culture and religion. His OWN but also his PEOPLE’S. You’re not allowed to talk to him about it though uhh fart joke - here, hold that
