    her sticky thoughts make lady startle at nero’s appearance, fingers slipping, expression sloppy and malfunctioned as it pieces itself back together.  “oh, nero …! what –?” her eyes rimming with the soft ridge of surprise, shock as gentle as a baby’s cry, her hands skim over his offered object, precious and unexpected. “i didn’t offer advice to put you into debt with me,” she says, the fog of her mind pierced by the rays of her smile,  “but thank you.” the drink abandoned, lady takes to the gun instead, sees its lack of use but shine of beauty and realizes -- oh, right, fighting, guns in hand, is what she’s good for. (all she’s good for, maybe.)

    “you don’t have to go,” she extends, an invitation open-ended and disguised from the way it pleads. in the quiet moments, on her own, she worries. “whatever disaster is out there,” she gazes down at the gun, “i’m sure it can wait.” placing the gun on her holster, she stands, says, “i ordered some pizza earlier. i’m sure it’s still warm.”

a long, drawn-out stare. with chester, it's easier to look his fill & memorise - he doesn't seem to take as much offence as those one did grow up around. on a tilt of the head, dark hair comes swishing- unfortunately right into his eyes. the obvious has been spied already, though.      They’re just supposed to be working in silence. Chester is just company, reading whatever reports he’s trusted with, considering he’s still technically Niflheim weaponry. It’s supposed to be calm, quiet, relaxing.

     And then Versus has to hit him with that.

     It takes a while until Chester has fully processed the words and then he’s staring for a painfully long moment. Just, staring. Not saying anything. He wouldn’t know what to say anyway.

     So, he ends up saying nothing at all, but he doesn’t have to, hopefully. A deep blush spreads on his face, tinting his skin a sickly blue-purple-black colour, making it all the more obvious that he isn’t human. He can feel his core temperature rising but finds no way to stop it.

     Can embarrassment kill him? Possibly. He figures that he will find out soon if this keeps up.

appearance;

when it comes to appearance, he doesn’t really care - insofar as physical attraction isn’t necessary to him in a romantic relationship. there’s def stuff that gets him going, things he appreciates that can cause a stifled smoulder in his gut – but an s/o is there for love, in his book.

but, since we are here in the category ‘appearance’,..

it’s in details. the rounded curve of a shoulder as they twist to deal with an incoming punch; that split second when the little ‘v’ from shoulder to pectoral draws tight and ready, just before that sight is stolen as they move on – this readiness to deal with hardship. the solid shove of their back into rubble to keep it off a civilian; resolve and stubborn ability and compassion all in one.fingers carding through hair for it to be pulled out of their face, tied up or just flicked away. focus in the lines of an expression as they pick out what groceries that suit their dinner plans, or any plans at all. the way they make decisions and the way- oh, wait… that’s personality.

looks like aizawa’s more focussed on personality than appearance anyway, if it’s supposed to be attractive.

objectively, he can appreciate a fine pair of calves (fine-tuned by lots of running), or the long sweep of someone’s hair (not very practical, but if they’re able to deal with it then it’ll do). but he doesn’t really prefer anything.

except cats. cats are always good and loved unconditionally. i mean, you have to be a seriously vicious cat for aizawa not to love you.

but humans? ehh. literally why? what’s… the point of preferences… u got a face it’s for emoting and sensing and eating, it works doesn’t it?? u got limbs and if ur missing one you’re probably compensating for it with others, (if the loss troubles you, he’s willing to step in and help u find joy again bc dadzawa does that, albeit discreetly if at all possible). ur digestive system works right?? ur skeleton doin ok??? so it’s fine. ur fine. what more do u fuckin’ need, let this old man rest.

he’s… going to need them to be somewhere in the Good alignment. he just - does. not. has no… just, dude. you don’t hurt people just because you have beef with something. solve your goddamn problems without making someone else suffer your pointlessly destructive immaturity.

of course some people don’t know they have better options; fair enough. if you’re willing, he’ll try to help you see and make use of those better options. but he’ll never stand by someone who hurts others for no good reason. never.

proactiveness is greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

aizawa loves when people are socially and emotionally competent (because he’s not), because it makes things go more smoothly. look at him and go ‘you’re not an asshole, you just don’t like to talk and have Strong Opinions’ and let him sleep.that said he can definitely develop a strong attraction to someone as ‘no.’ as he is.

protectiveness and compassion. you don’t have to be a hero or go as far as he does, but he needs someone who understands his deep-seated need to nurture and protect. interesting convos can be had with ppl who feel differently, but he wants understanding in his rom relationships.

wants to just be able to sit and cuddle (cat is not optional cat is Needed), and just. stare out into the distance for a while without letting the world be as much of a bother. 

mutual comfort and compassion, support, respect, and a lot of room for all involved personalities.the mutual part is highkey, because as much as aizawa has like. the dregs of energy lmao – he is all about that nurturing life. he can’t be in a relationship with someone he’s not allowed to care about actively. if you don’t want a mutually supportive and strong bond that goes ‘yeah you’re at your worst now, that’s okay. i’m gonna be at my worst like next week’s wednesday prob lmao’, then aizawa doesn’t want you.

he absolutely does love prettiness, but it doesn’t… draw him in. he thought for the longest time that his type was long legs, short skirts, sweet lips – then aizawa grew into his stubble and oh jesus fuck-

i’m not sure hizashi is into ladies at all on levels other than platonic and aesthetic, but he doesn’t consider it ever so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ who needs labels anyway.

he likes ‘em edgy. good lord let’s be real - hizashi loves dat edge. scruffiness, angular, dark hair, dark clothes, the contrast between pale skin and dark hair, some kinda non-conformist hairdo ( which, for dudes, can be as simple as long ).executive goth? punkgoth? casual goth?

                  it was kind of a horrible for a while,  then a while more ( bc nobody                  ever bothered to teach me social etiquette beyond “you’ve got                  autism = you can’t make friends” so i never learned ??? esp since                  my family is a horrible example for social anythinG EHREM ANYWAY )                  && by now i’ve … grown enough to know what i’m about ( largely ).

My Opinion on;

Character in general:  ugh,  itachi.  i don’t know, man.   as said before,  i have a huge weakness for dark && pretty.  especially when it comes wrapped in a lethal,  lethal lill package.  a lethal lill package with a f i n e b o dy  ——– gdi.ehrem,  moving on.but.  idk man.   he’s a fucked up guy - i have issues with my ‘older brother’,  && they make me recoil from his story.   but,  before all that happened … boy.  b o y.  BO Y.  itachi was that huge hngh that i never ( try to ) admit to … but he’s there.  oh yes.  && oh b o y do i drown in fics every now && again.  like deidara && sasori are my babies && i wholeheartedly support them ( destroy humanity !!! pls && thank ), but while i have —-why am i talking about my anime crushes.  boy.   CLEARS THROAT again.  moving on.anyway i think he’s … he’s … HE’S SO FUCKED UP.  there’s just so much wrong with EVERYTHING by the end of Naruto,  that i … well i have turned away from it all,  to be honest.  kishimoto is clearly not capable of writing healing or happy endings or anything remotely positive - okay a lil.  but really only a little.  && just … itachi was never.  nothing was ever done with him,  you know ?  like yeah he’s great && badass && oh bby call me bby but … he never changes.   he’s interesting … except he’s not.   nothing ever changes.   he plans everything,  && everything happens.  && that’s it.well that’s dull as fuck,  i’m ngl.  idk i have … too many things i want to punch into his face / drill into his mind / ram into his head / YELL AT HIM FOR …. to be ok with things.honestly i preferred when he was just a ‘monster’.  this fucked up family business makes me sick.

How they play them:   interesting.  you don’t go nearly as dark ( 9/10 of your threads that i’ve seen ) as i see most people go,  you don’t seem to give him that flair of darkness that a lot of itachi writers go for.  in that you keep him … so normal.  it takes away much of what makes him the HUBBA HUBBA guy in naruto - he’s just.  an awkward,  really fucked up dude. it’s mind-blowingly normal,  i don’t fucking know what to do with it.  && i like that.

The Mun:   i like you.   we talk here && there,  && it’s all incredibly peaceful.  i have social phobia so any interaction with human / living beings is,  well,  frightening to me.   so whenever there’s someone who i can just …….. talk to.  not talk to .  share ideas with.  yell at / write with.  without there being this huge pressure thing .. it’s an intense relief.  i’d thank u for that but that feels so awkward.  ehrem.   u seem so ??? normal ??? && i don’t mean dull or average or w/e i mean … there’s just little to no pressure in interacting with u ooc.   no … having to be extra lol.it’s nice.
