I don’t have a lot of time to talk about my thoughts on I hear the sunspot ep 8, just know that I loved it a lot (I may be bias but no episode has let me down yet) and I actually wept at that scene with kohei and taichi in taichi’s house. not only did they reconcile the whole maya thing by making it clear both how she treats taichi and why kohei wants to help her, but it was also just… so tender. im a sucker for a slow burn for this when it’s done right bc they both know their feelings and know they want the other in a way that’s different and special, but actually making it happen is a whole different thing. this ep was one of those deliciously small but significant steps when taichi made it clear he doesn’t hate it when kohei says things that are flirtatious in their possessiveness. in fact, he likes that, he does want to be the only person to eat kohei’s food. and then the hand hold… just for a moment before taichi’s grandfather interrupted, they let themselves wonder into that no mans land between friendship and more and it was fantastic. idk what they’re doing with this next ep but just know when I get a chance, I will be watching that scene again and again.

not to be like this but all of the posts (and there are many across multiple platforms) right now going "I mean obviously I'm not mad or whining or anything but it sucks that there's all these three week breaks, how am I going to survive, this is awful, I cannot believe this is happening to me" like, it does in fact come off as entitled no matter how many qualifiers are put onto it
and the a smaller subset of THAT going "CLEARLY C3 isn't a priority for the studio" or "they're obviously trying to kill C3" or even posting stuff that comes off as "um, don't they know that if they keep doing this I won't shop here watch anymore", like, come on
as a tangent, genuinely, I feel like a lot of people have trouble admitting that they don't actually like C3 so they get existentially worried about them losing interest over a slightly longer break because it'll force them to acknowledge that they aren't actually interested, but it's fine not to be interested!

Unsubbed but I wish it were so more people could enjoy it :<
Some highlights as quoted from memory:
P'Jo at P'Aof: That's so you!! (Day spraying his perfume on Mork)
P'Aof: I love that improv'd line in the previous episode (Day to Gee: ดูตากูด้วยค่ะ=Look at my eyes), love when Sea says ค่ะ [same, P'Aof! :D]
Nong Ohm: never thought I'd see P'Film use the word เยี่ยว (piss) in my lifetime (and P'Aof amusedly agreeing lol)
P'Jo and P'Aof going ✨ ดารา (the star) 🥰 whenever Namtan showed up haha
P'Aof saying Mark owns every little scene he's in and P'Jo confirming it was the same in Only Friends
P'Jo: ohhh he (Mork) does everything for him. I want a husband/man (ผัว) like this 🥺 (everyone: 😂)
P'Aof and P'Jo comparing some shots, lines, characters' looks to the drama level of Lakorns and P'Jo's shows
favorite scenes: Nong Ohm-rooftop scene, Sea-scene of Mork confronting August and protecting Day after the kiss, Jimmy-rooftop scene, P'Jo-the beat from the getting ready scene to the twist
the rooftop scene apparently was the very last scene they shot so Jimmy said he fully understood the characters and thus played it very emotionally at first, P'Aof said this final edit is the second take because for the first take it read too much like pity because there were tears
at the scene of Mork returning the new pair of sneakers to the cupboard where the old pair is kept now- Nong Ohm saying Put the new ones on top lol then P'Aof saying he's so bad, he ought to join P'Jo in a show of his 😂
Nong Ohm about August putting his headband on Day: like expressing ownership
P'Jo: what's up with August's hand? - P'Aof: just watch!! (gets explained seconds later lol)
everyone predictably losing it at 1) Day: When you (phi) speak sweetly, you're a lot more handsome (+na khrap), 2) Mork: Today I came as a matchmaker -> cue everyone feeling sad and sorry for Mork, 3) the two AugustDay kisses and Mork witnessing it all, 4) the rooftop MorkDay kisses
P'Aof saying the balance of moods this episode was difficult and required a bunch of re-edits and changes so it wasn't super sad, considering it follows Mork's mood the entire episode

POSSIBLE SPOILERS ? don't read it you aren't at all familiar with iwtv/how it ends and are going into the rest of the season blind.
guys hear me out what if in the show the whole igniting fire thing between louis and armand and how it's decided louis starts fires from anger like wHAT IF HE JUST PUTS THE THEATRE INTO FLAMES WHEN CLAUDIA DIES ???? no need for kerosine, no need for a candle to light the fire, like he does it all himself out of the insane rage he feels for loosing claudia. 2x04 made it seem like louis doesn't remember the fire, what if he thinks claudia just like ran away?? i'm sure he knows claudia is dead but,,,, he definitely doesn't know that armand knew what the coven was planning and allowed for claudia's death to happen (i might be wrong about that i've only watched the 90s movie and read a bunch of fanfic, i haven't read the books yet) ?? and what if armand made louis forget about the fire because he doesn't want louis to remember the consequences/ability of his rage being able to burn down the theatre, and he doesn't want louis to realize the power he has ??? i dunno. but with all the fire stuff they did this last episode i am seriously suspecting that louis is gonna burn that bitch of a theatre down all on his own 🦹‍♀️🦹‍♀️🦹‍♀️🦹‍♀️🧛🏻🧛🏻
additional thought i had while doing the tags, yknow the part in the new trailer where some of the apartment crumbles around daniel, what if that's the moment that louis finds out the truth about the fire and about claudia ?? and then louis and armand brawl 🦹‍♀️🦹‍♀️

i’m honestly confused why they didn’t canvas their audience before making that decision like it’s their content and their choice but if the majority of the fan base doesnt pay for the subscription then🧍🏽
it’s good they’re keeping the previous videos up and i saw they said they’ll release the first ep free and the rest on their service but yeahhh idk guys 😭 maybe it’ll work for them like it did with dropout idk! but dropout has soo much content and they have more stuff available for free, putting 99% of ur content behind a paywall right now when most ppl are living paycheck to paycheck 🥴 the timing of this

[ID: A digital drawing of Mattholomule from The Owl House. He is wearing his outfit from "Through the Looking Glass Ruins," his expression is smug and mischievous. Text at the bottom of the screen reads, "13 year old me convincing myself I was straight after manipulating every answer in an "'am i gay'" buzzfeed quiz to get 0%:". The background is a blurried image of the Looking Glass Graveyard, accompanied by a blurry Gus Porter. His face is obscured halfway by the screen border, but he looks confused at Mattholomule. Ok one REALLY specific thing I’m unnecessarily upset they changed is Percy and Annabeths conversation in the zoo truck bc YES they did have a similar one on the train which they continued in the Lotus Casino HOWEVER the scene in Mark of Athena in the stables where Annabeth says she’s reminded of that moment is SO IMPORTANT TO ME!!!
(also Percy talking to the Zebra)

the saddest thing about captain laserhawk is that its like a child caught in the middle of two neglectful parents where one parent offhandedly mentions it like its a fun fact and the other parent is a failing content creator with two likes on every video trying to revolutionize a new frontier with their kid that genuinely has no audience nor is even good content. netflix and ubisoft, count your fucking days for your shitty advertising.

Honor Blackman guest stars as art expert Syd Lewis in Saber of London: Deep in the Heart of Chelsea (1.3, NBC, 1957)
#fave spotting#honor blackman#cathy gale#saber of london#the vise#the avengers#classic tv#deep in the heart of chelsea#1957#nbc#so im visiting parents for a week or two and taking the opportunity to catch up on my old tv watching as i have access to my beloved#dvd collection. Saber was one of the final network releases I've located (after‚ i might say‚ a long long search for a reasonably priced#copy). so. the story of Saber of London. (deep breath). SoL is really a development of The Vise; for more on the needlessly complex history#of that series you can follow the appropriate tag above. in short The Vise was a crime anthology made specifically for US tv but produced#in the UK using brit actors writers and directors. the recurring character of Mark Saber was popular enough that the show eventually became#The Vise: Mark Saber; it then became Saber of London. some sources still regard this show as essentially being a later series of The Vise#(and it does still use the og theme tune over the end credits) but considering the title change and (crucially) the fact that SoL saw the#series move from ABC to NBC‚ im gonna consider this its own self contained show and number the episodes accordingly (ie. this is series 1 o#Saber of London not series 5 or 7 (depending on your counting) of The Vise). anyway now that's all out of the way.#there's little material difference between this series and the slightly earlier The Vise: Mark Saber episodes besides new titles and a#different introductory spiel from star Donald Gray. our hero is still a plucky private detective undertaking modest cases that the show's#budget will allow. this ep concerns art forgeries and an attempt to trap the criminals responsible‚ which means Saber must call on an art#expert to help authenticate the works. enter Honor! not yet a star‚ Honor did have a decade of acting experience behind her#which is maybe reflected in the fact that she's given an unusually meaty part for a woman in this series: she's neither victim nor love#interest (which are the usual roles) but a witty and intelligent source of assistance to the hero.#unlike The Vise episodes (which could take up to a decade to appear in the uk if they did at all) SoL appears to have had a fairly regular#slot from Granada about two years after the show's US premier. this ep would have been seen by uk audiences in 1959
