An A-Z Guide for the Magnificent MP Investors' Summit 2019

Magnificent MP 2019 Investors' Summit is all set to go live in the Indore city on 18 October 2019 at the Brilliant Convention Center. The event is supposed to attract angel investors in India and would be inaugurated by the CM of Madhya Pradesh- Kamal Nath. The MP government has been actively engaging with industry giants to explore the massive untapped potential of the state. It's an exhibition showcasing the strengths of Madhya Pradesh along with an investors’ summit.
The summit will bring out unprecedented waves of industrial development and socio-economic inclusion! Earlier it was supposed to last for 3 days, but now it has been reduced to just one. Now, Magnificent MP Investors' Summit 2019 will be held on 18 October 2019. It’s an exclusive platform for industries and countries to showcase their capabilities and achievements through a ‘Global Trade Exhibition’.

The event has been a flagship biennial business summit of the Madhya Pradesh government since 2007. It also goes by the name "Global Investors Summit". In the last summit organized in 2016, a whopping 2630 investments worth ₹5.63 Trillion were proposed! The government is really positive about this year's event being even more successful.
Let's take a look at the Magnificent MP Investors' Summit 2019 in detail:
An Ideal Platform For Key Stakeholders:
At the summit, industrialists will be interacting amongst the people on industry scenarios and technology advancements across 15 focused sectors. A complete gamut of sectors including Agriculture & Food Processing, Automobile & Engineering, Information Technology and ESDM, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Logistics, Tourism, amongst others would be present at the event.
Notably, CM of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Kamal Nath will be inaugurating the program. Some of the leading industrialists of India including Mukesh Ambani, Anand Mahindra, Kumar Mangalam Birla and Gautam Adani are amongst the invited guests. This exhibition provides a forum to promote the initiative ‘Make in Madhya Pradesh’.
Massive Opportunities for Madhya Pradesh:
According to a statement released by the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee, there has been a capital inflow of approximately Rs 30,000 crore in the Indore-Pithampur region. "The forward development-oriented measures taken by the state government are resulting in an atmosphere for investment." -media in-charge Shobha Ojha tells us. Also, she claims that the Magnificent Madhya Pradesh 2019 Summit shall be a historic success.
Numerous prestigious magnates are among the invitees. This centrally-located state is ideal for outlay as it boasts a road network of 2.3 lakh km, quality transport including air cargo facilities besides sharing borders with five states."
The state of Madhya Pradesh is a host to excellent opportunities for financing in agriculture and food-processing. It is because of the fact that the state tops in orange, tomato and garlic cultivation besides leading in milk production.
Special Focus on Key Areas-
The state government has focused special attention on investors in the medical sector in Madhya Pradesh. As per reports, big investors from the USA and Europe have also shown interest in this regard. To create a special identity, the government will hand over the investors of this region. Hence, it's an opportunity for big hospitals to open up in Bhopal, Indore and other cities of the state.

According to the Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot, during his recent stay in America, there had been a preliminary discussion with many investors in the region. Many of these investors have shown interest in the medical sector and especially in MP, so it is more likely that more people will be coming from this area. The government's effort is that after this investment, MP will emerge as a "hub" of medical tourism. People from all over the world would be coming here for treatment because the cost of medical treatment in America-Europe is very expensive.
Apart from this, the government has also placed a condition of giving 70% employment to the regional youth in the "agreement" with investors. This will increase employment opportunities in the state of Madhya Pradesh. It has been decided that only those industrialists would be invited who are committed to bringing investment in MP. The government has also assured to provide all possible facilities and infrastructure to such business investors.

What is the Denver Model of ABA? I got several PMs after posting about some of our personal preferences recently. We used much of the “Early Start” version from 17 months to about age 3, and then many big ideas about naturalistic learning, programs across settings, and a high level of family involvement carried over after age 4. It’s still data based, which is the beauty of ABA in general. I approached our BCBA about this after my son’s diagnosis and after talking it out with our child psych at Boston Children’s Hospital, because we knew ABA is effective, but weren’t entirely comfortable with it (and it’s OK if you get that feeling, too!).

What We Can Do For Autistic Kids
Everybody is unique, we all know that. We have different needs and we have different way of life. Same thing goes with autistic kids, each of them do also have different needs. The thing about autistic kids is they cannot fully recovered, but we can make them to better ones. That is why each autism intervention plan should be tailored to address specific needs. The solutions for autistic kids involve behavioural treatments. The common ones are Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Early Start Denver Model. This solution is needed so they can to improve their social and motor skills and go on to live happy and normal lives.
ABA or Applied Behaviour Analysis focuses on the principles that explain how learning takes places. Since the early 1960’s, ABA has been used by hundreds of therapists to teach communication, play, social, academic, self-care, work, and community living skills, and to reduce problems behaviours in learners with autism. ABA is a little bit difficult to understand but once you see it in action, you will get the idea of how it works. The therapy sessions involve one-on-one interaction between the behaviour analyst and the participant but group instruction can likewise prove useful too.
So what are the techniques of this therapy? Well, the instructor uses a variety of behaviour analytic procedures, some of which are directed by the instructor and others are initiated by the learner. Parents and/or other family members and caregivers also receive training so they can support learning and skill practice throughout the day. The learners receives an abundance of positive reinforcement for demonstrating useful skills and socially appropriate behaviours. The emphasis on positive social interactions and enjoyable learning. Besides that, he learner also receives no reinforcement for behaviours that pose harm or prevent learning. The consequence of this therapy depends on the behaviour which can include positive reinforcement of the desired behaviour or no reaction for incorrect responses.
All ABA programs have similar elements, those are discrete trial teaching, programming for generalization to the natural environment, reinforcement, prompting and fading strategies, and outcome-based decision-making. One of the examples is discrete trial teaching, this is technique is simple, the instructors break a task down into smaller and more teachable components, and teaching each component separately. Also, the kids get rewards for every correct response she/he makes. Another therapy for the autistic kids is the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). This is a comprehensive behavioural early intervention approach for kids with autism ages 12-48 months. This early intervention program integrates a relationship-focused developmental model with the well-validated teaching practices of ABA. It also incorporates some principles of ABA, like breaking down a task into small steps and teaching each step in sequence, but the method doesn’t use discrete trials. ESDM focuses more on the naturalistic that applies behavioural analytic, deep parental involvement, interpersonal exchange and positive affect, and shared engagement with joint activities. Language and communication are also taught inside a positive, affect-based relationship. It also stresses the therapist’s relationship with the autistic kids. A relationship that is built on play that capitalizes on the child’s interests. So instead of going through flashcards at a table, they lie on the floor and tap the ground with hands and feet instead. The difference between this therapy and ABA is the ESDM therapist has to have ESDM training and certification (e.g. psychologist, behaviourist, occupational therapist, speech and language pathologist, early intervention specialist, or developmental paediatrician).
We may have heard the dolphin therapy for the kids with neurological disorders especially autism, but does it really work? Well, I have the answer. It does not work. Most of the claims that dolphins are medical miracle workers are based on anecdotes, self-reports, or poorly designed experiments conducted by researchers who have an economic interest in the results. In psychologytoday.com, I found an article where it’s said that a group of German researches carefully observed sessions in which dolphins interacted with groups of mentally and physically handicapped kids in a Florida dolphin therapy program. They found that most of the dolphins ignored the children and there was not much ultrasonic dolphin talk going on. In fact, the children were exposed to an average of only 10 seconds of dolphins ultrasonic during each sessions. This is not nearly enough to be beneficial.
Autistic kids need the therapy, whether it’s ABA or EDSM, so they can live in a happy and normal life. Autistic kids don’t deserve to be a joke. They deserve to live independently, to work productively, develop meaningful and fulfilling relationships and enjoy life. With better interventions and supports available, those affected by autism are having better outcomes in all spheres of life.
