Hello there, Moongleam is back at it again with another family fluff AU!

This one's set in the universe of Little Nightmares.

While beta reading this, I almost got cavities it's so sweet!

Tiny child Eclipse and Bloodmoon with giant papa Killcode. Babies. All of them.

Due to the less than ideal world they're living in, there's mild horror elements, but it really is just slice of life, fluff.

Expert Writing Tip

You ever want to know what weird quirks an author may have? Look at their characters. Most every author puts part of themselves into characters, whether that be personality, back story, or habits. If a character has a weird quirk, the author usually has the quirk too. By now, you're probably thinking "But Eclipse! Doesn't one of your characters eat cherries and swallow the pits too?" I'm here to tell you Yeah bitch, I swallow cherries whole, pits and all, what of it?

//Heyyyyyyyy, I wrote angst... Again... Go Eclipse!! ;a; I’m sorry, I finished both Fen’s and Diani’s playthrough of Trespasser and I just have a lot of feelings now.

“I would treasure the chance to be wrong once again, my friend.” Alnifenen sat on the ground, blankly staring at what used to be his left arm as that one sentence replayed in his head, over and over again, almost driving him insane. He could still almost feel it, as if he thought hard enough, he could make the ghost of his arm move. He took in a deep breath, his eyebrows furrowed in thought, not even noticing the Eluvian behind him opening and his companions bursting through it. He was so lost in thought that he barely felt Bull place his hands on his shoulders, gently shaking him as he called his name. 

“Kadan, kadan! For fuck’s sake, FEN!” Bull roared, letting out a slight sigh of relief when he saw the elf slowly blink, the haziness slowly slipping away from his orange-yellow eyes. Fen slowly turned his head to look at Bull, his ears drooping as he finally gave a sign that he was cognizant of his surroundings. He let out a choked whimper as he finally looked up at Bull, his eyes revealing the pain that he was desperately trying to push back so that he didn’t lose himself now.

Fen took in a deep breath before letting it out, his entire body quivering just slightly. “I.. I..” He stuttered, feeling a slight anger well up inside of him as he silently cursed himself for stuttering. “I’ll be fine.. After a period…” He murmured, desperately trying to distance himself from his feelings that he wanted nothing to do with at the moment. His voice quivered, barely, but it was enough for those who knew him well enough, or were trained to study body language, and it caused great concern. The assassin was usually so well-spoken and was rarely, if ever, uncertain of himself or what he wanted/needed to say. Fen nervously ran his fingers through his long, red hair as he internally debated on how he should inform of what had transpired between Solas ‘Fen’harel’ and himself.

He came to a conclusion a few moments later, his eyebrows furrowed slightly, face serious as he opened his mouth, “As you can tell.. Solas, or should I say, ‘Fen’harel’, isn’t here anymore.. He.. He said that he would tear down the Veil and build the world up from the ashes, to how it used to be, when the People were still respected and feared.” He murmured, anxiously smoothing out any knots in his hair as he observed his companions reactions.  Fen winced when he saw Bull’s one eye darken and narrow in on his left side. He shifted, as if to hide it before Bull quickly tightened his hands on his shoulders, slowly turning him so that he could see.

Bull let out a soft noise when he saw what Fen was trying to hide, his right hand slowly moving to gently run calloused fingers down what was left of his left arm. “Kadan.. Tell me what happened.” He softly commanded, his other large hand coming up to cup Fen’s face. His eyes fluttered shut for a few seconds as he enjoyed the warmth against his cheek before he opened his eyes, letting out a sharp breath. “The anchor… It was killing me, as I’m sure you all noticed.. The only way to at least halt the process, was for Solas to take away the anchor, my arm included.” He murmured, biting his bottom lip.

Fen forced a smile onto his lips as he slowly stood up, his right hand gripping Bull’s shoulder for support. “Come on.. We should get out of here.” He said, softly sighing when he saw Bull, Diani and Cassandra exchange a glance. “I’ll tell everyone all of the details… Later, right now all I want to do is drink myself into a stupor and sleep for a few hours.” He mumbled, turning towards the only Eluvian that would take them back to the Winter Palace, ignoring all of their worried looks. He stopped at the Eluvian, gesturing for all three of them to go on ahead of him, Bull being the last as he leaned down to grip Fen’s waist as press their lips together, his eye serious as he murmured, “You will tell me everything.” before heading through it. Fen let out a soft breath as he observed the empty clearing, his right arm unconsciously rising to touch what was left of his left arm. He closed his eyes for a few seconds before opening them, his eyes hard as he promised himself that he would convince Solas to not go through with his plan, no matter the cost. With that thought, Fen turned and entered through the mirror, leaving all of his insecurities behind.

Moongleam's newest story has arrived! It's a little bit different from the usual family fluff, and all that silly things

It's a canon divergence AU, from you guessed, Eclipse's POV, and focuses more on relationships between solar and lunar models in a way that (in my opinion) is fascinating and I wish to study them under a microscope

There's no dadcode fluff, or much fluff at all, haha. It's a lot of mental healthn't, but that's the norm with Eclipse, isn't it?

You are pretty perceptive! Yes, THIS book of SEA only has a couple more chapters left, but fear not! I'm already writing a second book, which bit of a tone shift but I always wrote first for myself and I'm brimming with ideas for it so eh, and I plan to have little oneshots for SEA! It will be a series, especially because I won't start posting the second book until it's done, which might take a while. Currently I'm more focused on other projects, like a little Halloween special I plan on finishing and posting in the next couple of days, or on stuff like Watchful Nightmare, which is going to have a crossover with SEA because I was kinda given the idea for it. I also have my first ever TSAMS AU and thus fic idea to write, which will be called For You when I get around to it. That will also take a while, because it's kind of an ambitious and giant project, involving many AU ideas like the first iteration of the SCP AU, which is completely different from SEA.

So in short, yepp, SEA first book is ending soon, but the story itself won't :]
