What link strategies can be employed to boost the popularity of a link on a site?
1.) You could try an exchange link campaign in which webmasters link their websites to yours, and vice the reverse.
2.) Another method is to put your website on both paid as well as free directories online.
3.) Write your articles and include your URL at the end in the text. After that, you send it to directories for articles.
4.) Participate in blogs and forums, and include your website's URL at the end of each correspondence. Be sure not to spam.

12 Advantages and Disadvantages of ECommerce | Imagency Media
The rapid growth of eCommerce has transformed the way businesses operate, bringing both remarkable advantages and notable challenges. Understanding these can help businesses leverage eCommerce to its fullest potential or address its drawbacks effectively. Let’s dive into 12 key advantages and disadvantages of eCommerce.
Tumblr media
Advantages of eCommerce
Global Reach eCommerce breaks down geographical barriers, allowing businesses to reach customers worldwide. This expansive reach helps businesses tap into new markets and grow their customer base beyond local limitations.
Tumblr media
Lower Operational Costs Running an online store can be significantly cheaper than maintaining a physical storefront. Costs like rent, utilities, and staffing are greatly reduced, allowing businesses to reinvest savings into marketing and product development.
24/7 Availability Unlike traditional stores, eCommerce sites operate round the clock. This availability caters to customers in different time zones, providing a seamless shopping experience anytime, anywhere.
Personalization and Customer Experience eCommerce platforms can gather data on customer behavior, preferences, and purchase history, allowing businesses to offer personalized recommendations and improve the overall shopping experience.
Tumblr media
Easy Scaling and Growth Scaling an online business is much simpler than expanding a brick-and-mortar store. Adding new products or services, targeting new demographics, and adjusting to market demands can be done quickly and efficiently.
Enhanced Marketing Opportunities Digital marketing strategies such as social media advertising, email marketing, and SEO are particularly effective for eCommerce. These channels allow businesses to target specific audiences and track results in real-time.
Disadvantages of eCommerce
Lack of Personal Touch Despite technological advances, online shopping often lacks the personal interaction found in physical stores. This absence of human touch can make it harder to build customer loyalty.
Security and Privacy Concerns With the rise in cybercrime, protecting customer data is a major concern for eCommerce businesses. Ensuring robust security measures is critical but can be costly and complex.
Tumblr media
Dependence on Technology eCommerce heavily relies on technology, including websites, payment gateways, and software. Technical glitches, downtime, or slow-loading pages can lead to lost sales and damage to the brand’s reputation.
High Competition and Price Wars The ease of starting an online store has led to increased competition, making it difficult for smaller businesses to stand out. Price wars are common, often squeezing profit margins.
Shipping and Logistics Challenges While eCommerce allows businesses to reach a global audience, shipping products efficiently can be complex and costly. Issues like delayed deliveries, high shipping fees, and logistics mishaps can affect customer satisfaction.
Tumblr media
Difficulty in Handling Returns and Refunds Returns are more prevalent in eCommerce, especially in fashion and electronics sectors. Handling returns and refunds can be costly and time-consuming, often eroding profit margins.
Conclusion
eCommerce offers vast opportunities for growth, flexibility, and global reach, but it also comes with challenges that businesses must address. By understanding these advantages and disadvantages, companies can better strategize and create a seamless, customer-friendly eCommerce experience.

Maximizing Ecommerce Success: A Comprehensive Guide to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Tumblr media
Introduction
In the dynamic landscape of online retail, performance metrics are the compass guiding businesses toward success. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) serve as crucial milestones, directing ecommerce entrepreneurs to navigate the complex realm of sales, marketing, and customer service. In this comprehensive guide, we at RMRKBL Marketing delve into the intricate world of KPIs, offering profound insights to empower your business decisions and drive unparalleled growth.
Unveiling the Essence of Performance Indicators
A performance indicator, a beacon in the data-driven journey, is a quantifiable measurement aligning with specific goals. Picture an online retailer aspiring to boost site traffic by 50% in the next year – a noble ambition. Key indicators could include daily unique visitors, traffic sources (paid advertising, SEO, brand advertising), or the holy grail of customer lifetime value.
Decoding Key Performance Indicators
Amidst a plethora of potential metrics, the crux lies in identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) – impactful data points succinctly reflecting progress toward defined goals. In this pursuit, Shopify's robust reporting and analytics emerge as invaluable tools, boasting over 60 pre-built dashboards to illuminate trends and catalyze informed decision-making.
The Significance of KPIs
Why are KPIs as vital as strategy and goal setting? They transcend mere statistics, offering actionable insights that propel strategic decision-making. Without KPIs, businesses risk navigating uncharted waters, relying on intuition rather than data-driven precision. Harnessing KPIs fosters a deeper understanding of your business and clientele, fostering informed strategies for online sales growth.
Classifying Key Performance Indicators
KPIs, versatile in nature, span qualitative, quantitative, predictive, and historical dimensions, permeating various business operations. In the ecommerce domain, KPIs elegantly align with five core categories: Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Project Management.
Sales: A Symphony of Success
In the realm of sales, mastering KPIs is akin to orchestrating a symphony of success. Ecommerce retailers can fine-tune their performance through vigilant tracking of crucial metrics such as total sales, average order
size, gross profit, average margin, and more. Each metric unveils a facet of your business, from understanding customer behavior through conversion rates and shopping cart abandonment rates to strategic insights on product affinity and competitive pricing.
Unlocking Sales KPIs
1. Total Sales
Ecommerce success hinges on understanding sales patterns. Monitor sales on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis to discern trends and capitalize on peak periods.
2. Average Order Size
Delve into customer spending habits with the average order size, a pivotal KPI reflecting the typical expenditure per order. This insight informs pricing strategies and product bundling opportunities.
3. Gross Profit
Measure business efficiency by calculating gross profit – the difference between total sales and the cost of goods sold. A nuanced understanding ensures profitability and strategic decision-making.
4. Conversion Rate
Efficiency in converting visitors to customers is paramount. The conversion rate, expressed as a percentage, illuminates the success of your ecommerce site in turning visitors into buyers.
5. Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
The heartbeat of sustainable growth lies in the customer lifetime value. Nurture long-term relationships by understanding how much a customer contributes over their engagement with your brand.

Evaluate the effectiveness of your site in converting visitors into revenue. Low RPV prompts a deep dive into analytics, optimizing the user experience to drive more online sales.

8. Inventory Levels
Maintain optimal stock levels by closely monitoring inventory metrics. Insights into stock turnover, product velocity, and sitting stock guide inventory management strategies.
9. Competitive Pricing

11. Product Relationship
Strategically plan cross-selling tactics by understanding which products are viewed consecutively. Leverage this KPI to enhance product recommendations and elevate user experience.

Customer retention is paramount. The churn rate reveals how swiftly customers are departing. Swift action can mitigate losses and foster sustained loyalty.
13. Cost per Click (CPC)
For paid advertising success, track the cost incurred for each click. Optimize ad campaigns by aligning CPC with conversion rates, ensuring a balanced marketing budget.

Top 5 Must-Have Features for a Successful eCommerce Website
In today’s digital era, creating a successful eCommerce website requires much more than just displaying products। The features that guarantee a smooth shopping experience, such as easy navigation and secure transactions, are essential for a profitable online store। These are the top five must-have features for a successful eCommerce website, whether you’re launching a new one or updating an existing one। Visit Us: http://www.shanviatech.com
1. User-Friendly Navigation
Customers may leave a congested website before they get a chance to look around. Navigating the various sections of your store with ease requires user-friendly navigation. Users should be able to readily locate categories, items, and information on the website thanks to its intuitive structure and well-organized menu. Important components of intuitive navigation consist of:
· Search Bar: A robust search functionality that allows users to find products using keywords, categories, or product codes.
· Categories and Filters: Properly organized product categories and filters (price, size, color, etc.) help customers narrow down their choices.
· Breadcrumbs: Provide users with a clear path to navigate back to previous pages without confusion.
Good navigation ensures that customers spend less time looking for what they need, resulting in higher satisfaction and increased conversions.
2. Mobile Responsiveness
By 2024, mobile eCommerce will still be quite popular as so many consumers will be shopping and browsing on smartphones. In order to take advantage of this enormous market, your eCommerce website needs to be mobile-friendly. With a responsive design, your website will adjust to various screen sizes with ease, offering the best possible viewing experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Among the main advantages of mobile responsiveness are:
· Improved User Experience: A mobile-friendly website is easier to navigate and increases customer engagement.
· SEO Benefits: Search engines like Google prioritize mobile-responsive websites, improving your site’s search rankings.
· Higher Conversion Rates: With more users shopping via mobile, a responsive design leads to higher sales and customer retention.
In addition to annoying visitors, a non-responsive website lowers its exposure in search results, which can seriously harm your company.
3. Secure Payment Gateways
One of the most important features of an eCommerce website is security. Consumers must feel secure when transacting, particularly in light of the growing worry over online fraud and data breaches. Gaining a customer’s trust requires integrating a secure payment gateway. To guarantee secure transactions, the following components are essential:
· SSL Encryption: Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption protects sensitive information, like credit card details, during the checkout process.
· Multiple Payment Options: Offer various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, digital wallets (e.g., PayPal, Apple Pay), and even buy-now-pay-later options to cater to a diverse audience.
· PCI Compliance: Ensure your website complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) to protect customers’ payment data.
In addition to increasing trust, a secure checkout procedure lowers cart abandonment, which boosts revenue and fosters client loyalty.
4. Fast Loading Speed
Conversion rates and user experience are closely related to website speed. Customers become irritated and may quit a website that loads slowly before completing a purchase. In fact, studies reveal that a little one-second lag in page load speed can cause a 7% decline in conversions. Important techniques to enhance loading speed consist of:
· Optimized Images: Compressing images without losing quality can drastically improve page load times.
· Content Delivery Network (CDN): A CDN distributes content across multiple servers worldwide, ensuring faster delivery of web pages.
· Minimized Code: Reducing unnecessary code, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensures quicker page rendering.
Not only does a quick website keep users interested, but it also helps you rank higher in search results because Google values site speed highly.
5. Customer Reviews and Testimonials
In the field of eCommerce, customer reviews are an invaluable resource. They encourage potential buyers to feel confident about the quality of products, which acts as social proof and influences their purchasing decisions. A mechanism that makes it simple for customers to post reviews and read those of others should be included in any successful eCommerce website. Key characteristics include of:
· Verified Reviews: Ensure that only verified buyers can leave reviews, which builds trust in the authenticity of feedback.
· Star Ratings and Comments: A combination of star ratings and written reviews gives customers detailed insights into a product’s performance.
· Review Moderation: Implement a moderation system to prevent spam or fake reviews from appearing on the site.
Testimonials and reviews that are positive increase trustworthiness, encourage conversions, and have a big effect on customer retention.
User experience, security, and functionality must be given top priority on your website if you want to compete in the fiercely competitive eCommerce market. Building trust, interacting with clients, and increasing sales all depend on features like user-friendly navigation, responsiveness on mobile devices, safe payment gateways, quick loading times, and customer reviews. You’ll not only create a seamless buying experience by adding these essential elements, but you’ll also grow your online business to unprecedented levels.

RECENT ECOMMERCE NEWS (INCLUDING ETSY), LATE MAY 2024
Tumblr media
It's been an eventful couple of weeks since I took my brief vacation, so here's a relatively long ecommerce news update - just skip the topics you don't care about, and read the ones you do!
The SEO and Marketing update should also be out tonight, barring any emergencies.
Get these updates plus my website blog posts via email: http://bit.ly/CindyLouWho2Blog Get all of the most timely updates plus exclusive content by supporting my Patreon: patreon.com/CindyLouWho2
TOP NEWS & ARTICLES
Etsy’s 2023 Transparency Report was mostly more of the same: lots of takedowns of valid listings, more automation, and more promises to fix things. How do they plan on “clarifying” Etsy policies to both buyers and sellers? Stay tuned…
Etsy CEO Josh Silverman recently revealed more details [post by me on Patreon] about how the company intends Etsy search to work now. While I have been telling folks this for a while, I think it is important to reiterate: it's not all about keywords, titles and tags any more! (although they still have a small impact) Silverman wants Etsy search ranking to be about:
shipping on time
"people are always delighted with the item and give you 5-star reviews"
responding to Etsy Messages quickly
"appropriate" shipping prices*
a "good return policy" [yes, I think that means accepting most returns]
*no idea what that means; I am sure we are about to find out. Caps on shipping charges for some types of items - as they do on eBay - are possible, as are mandatory Etsy Label use for a few countries.
He didn't mention image quality here, but does cover that elsewhere - they are correlating that with the quality of the item, to some extent. So, if you want visibility on Etsy, stop worrying so much about changing tags, and start worrying about running your business the way Etsy wants you to run it. Is this fair to long time businesses on the platform? Not really, as Etsy systems often punish sellers who live in countries without cheap tracking, who create complicated custom items that take weeks to ship, and who do not work overtime 7 days a week to jump whenever Etsy or a buyer says they must. But this is how Etsy is changing, and each shop must decide for themselves what they want to do about it.
I am seeing some odd Etsy shop suspensions lately, some of which seem to involve not shipping within processing times - or not getting the first scan within processing times - and no other major risks or policy violations. While Etsy restored that shop less than a day after I posted everywhere, I am still receiving other complaints with similar issues, or worse: no apparent reason for the closure at all. One yesterday did win their appeal and has been reopened, but others have had no luck.
ETSY NEWS
If you set up an official Father’s Day sale on Etsy, check to see that the correct percentage off was used - there are reports of errors. E.g., trying to set a minimum order of $50 could lead to orders over 50 cents going through. Some sellers report they have been able to get refunds from Etsy. If you didn't set up a Father's Day sale, check to see if you are running one anyway, as Etsy seems to have opted some shops in without their permission. Both issues are covered in this forum thread, and the unauthorized sales are also discussed on Reddit. An Etsy employee says “we’re investigating the issue”, but doesn’t clarify which issue. Over on Reddit, a seller posted an Etsy Support response which denies sales were set up by Etsy without any action by the seller. This person did get reimbursed for a sale they didn’t set up, but it was also set to the wrong discount (a 30 cent minimum).
The old Etsy listing page will disappear as of June 25; I covered the story on Patreon. Within 2 days, Etsy clarified that more changes would be coming, so I guess the complaints worked for some issues. If you are struggling with it, here are a few tips on making it work.
There seems to be an uptick in payment reserves again; please let me know if you see anything interesting out there.
A new Etsy tool for punishing “risky” shops: reducing the maximum daily Etsy Ads budget. There are threads here and also here, plus I have received emails.
The latest buyer test is to allow refunds to be paid out as Etsy credits they can use immediately to make a new order. Etsy claims this will not affect how sellers issue refunds. Obviously this is great for Etsy, as the company may hold on to the money for months or years if the customer doesn't want to make an order right away, or doesn't use all of the credit, but it could also be good for buyers, as some other types of refunds can take over a week to process in some jurisdictions.
As is being discussed in the Etsy forum, Etsy is currently testing placing other shop’s listings - including paid Ads - on shop home pages. Here is one example:
Tumblr media
[Screenshot courtesy Tracy of Pooch and Tabby.] While the listings are marked as “More from other sellers”, it’s easy to imagine some shoppers not noticing that, given that the listings appear right below the shop ones, and above feedback. Depending on how similar the photo styles are:
Tumblr media
[Screenshot courtesy of BlackSheepDyeworks] the fact this is a different shop could be missed. Remember, it is just a test, so it may go away and never reappear. It could also be on every home page forever starting tomorrow, or it could be something that they will charge you to have removed (i.e., more “benefits” for the shop tiers they surveyed sellers on.)
Another Etsy test is changing how we can set up sales; they’ve added a separate option for discounts with order minimums, but have removed the ability to offer free shipping above order minimums.
Sellers in India will no longer be able to make domestic sales, starting June 3. [I really do not understand this change; perhaps the payment methods are no longer possible. Remember that Etsy was making an extra cut on sales within India, as they forced sellers there to ship domestic orders using Etsy Labels, starting last April.] At the same time, Indian sellers need to sign up for Etsy Payments between June 3 and July 31, and must provide a GSTIN number to continue to sell on the site.
Etsy apparently disabled 3 different drop shipping integrations in early May, due to non-compliance with the third-party integration policy. This should not affect shops using accepted integrations, such as the many POD sites that Etsy allows if the seller designed the product.
Having issues with Etsy saying your items were not tracked when they really were? If you provide evidence for each order and then keep demanding Support deal with it, you might succeed, as this seller did.
Tumblr media
Etsy has already moved ahead with changing Canadian calculated shipping to the new Canada Post Etsy Labels rates they offer, without a specific announcement on the topic. That has led to some Canadian sellers finding they have undercharged a great deal for shipping, if they use methods other than Etsy Labels. The only mention was at the bottom of the shipping label price reductions announcement, which some didn’t notice and some were confused by, and of course, people who never want to use Etsy Labels didn’t even read.
Etsy edits its Prohibited Items Policy several times a year; the latest changes involve “Violent Items”.
Etsy removes results for certain prohibited words - for example, try searching for “taser” - and has finally added the word “porn” to that list. Here, I searched it for you so you don’t have to:
Tumblr media
CNBC published a short news story, and a much longer video, on current Etsy problems and what may happen in the future. Of note: “In a comment to CNBC, Etsy said that it recognizes its current definition of handmade, includes a broad spectrum of items, and will clarify its policies to be more transparent about what belongs on Etsy in the coming months”.
Etsy was called out for allowing the sale of fake seeds purporting to grow “cat-faced flowers”, but of course the images are AI-generated.
They finally arrested one of the people running those fake Etsy Support phone number ads.
Wells Fargo thinks Etsy will benefit from Temu giving less attention to the US market.
ECOMMERCE NEWS (minus social media)
Amazon
Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA) items with what Amazon deems a “high return rate” will be subject to extra fees per return starting June 1, 2024.
Some Amazon sellers need to reverify their accounts due to the Inform Act.
eBay
eBay is apparently testing allowing buyers to make a price match request after the purchase was completed. Sellers can decline the offer and even cancel the order.
One of eBay’s subsidiaries is facing a union-busting claim. The complaints include unfair treatment of disabled employees, and placement of surveillance cameras.
The eBay UK user agreement now mentions “Simple Delivery”, but it is not clear what that means.
Poshmark
“Promoted Closet” is a new ad tool from Poshmark that allows US sellers to promote their whole shop at once. “Poshmark didn’t say when the feature will roll out to Canada.”
Shopify
Alavara’s tax services are now able to be integrated with all types of Shopify subscriptions.
Shopify’s slowing growth projections led to the stock tanking May 8, even though they are still predicting “second-quarter revenue to grow at a high-teens percentage.”
Squarespace

eCommerce SEO Strategies: Boosting Visibility and Ranking in Search Engines
Inside the digital realm, the possession of a meticulously optimised electronic commerce website is of paramount importance in order to achieve triumph. In the highly competitive landscape of online commerce, the implementation of efficient Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) methods is imperative in order to enhance visibility and improve rankings within search engine results. Boost your online sales with Nivida Web Solutions - one of the most trusted eCommerce development companies in Vadodara!
Tumblr media
This blog post aims to examine a selection of potent eCommerce search engine optimisation (SEO) tactics that can effectively differentiate your online store, enhance organic traffic generation, and ultimately bolster sales figures.
1.  Conduct Comprehensive Keyword Research:
Performing thorough keyword research is essential for the success of any search engine optimisation (SEO) effort. Determine pertinent terms and phrases employed by prospective clients when conducting searches for products within your specific market segment. In order to identify keywords with high search volume and low competition, it is recommended to employ keyword research tools. Long-tail keywords possess significant value for eCommerce websites due to their tendency to signal a greater level of purchase intent.
2.  Optimize Product Pages:
In order to increase organic traffic to your online store, you need to optimise each individual product page for certain keywords. Titles, meta descriptions, and body copy should all be optimised using your target keywords. Create something that stands out from the crowd, educates the reader, and makes them want to buy the product.
3.  Focus on Site Speed and Mobile Responsiveness:
Pay Attention to Site Speed and Mobile Responsiveness: Both of these variables significantly affect search engine rankings. A website's bounce rate and search engine rankings might both suffer if it takes too long to load. Image compression, caching methods, and the use of content distribution networks will all help your website load faster. In order to deliver a consistent experience across all devices, you need also to make sure your website is fully responsive.
4.  Implement Rich Snippets and Schema Markup:
You may improve the visual appeal of your product listings in search engine results by using rich snippets and schema markup. They increase the likelihood of getting clicks from potential buyers by giving them more information, like product ratings, prices, and availability. Using structured data improves your content's discoverability by making it easier to crawl and index.
5.  Create High-Quality Content:
Add a blog to your online store and update it frequently with informative posts on your items, industry developments, and the problems faced by your customer base. Useful and interesting content does more than just get you more visitors; it also positions you as a go-to resource in your field. Promoting your blog entries on social media and getting others to link to them can help your SEO efforts tremendously.
6.  Optimize for Voice Search:
It is no longer optional to optimise for voice search, what with the popularity of speech-activated assistants like Siri and Alexa. Since voice searches are typically longer and more conversational, your content should emphasise the use of natural language and long-tail keywords. Increasing your visibility in voice search results can be accomplished by providing clear and helpful responses to frequently asked topics. Maximize your online potential and experience result-driven eCommerce solutions with Nivida Web Solutions - an excellent eCommerce development company in Vadodara.
7.  Leverage User-Generated Content:
User-generated content (UGC) like customer reviews and testimonials are great for your SEO and for gaining the trust of future customers. Search engines tend to favour sites that update their information frequently, and reviews give both new and original material. Inspire customers to contribute their opinions and experiences by allowing them to do so on the product pages you create.
8.  Improve Site Architecture and Navigation:
Users and search engines both place a high value on a site's structure and the ease with which they can navigate it. Make that the hierarchy of your website's categories, subcategories, and individual product pages makes sense. Users and search engine bots alike will appreciate your efforts to create internal links to relevant sections of your site. Better engagement metrics can have a favourable effect on your search engine rankings, so make sure your site is as user-friendly as possible.
9.  Optimize for Local SEO:
If your online store also has brick-and-mortar locations or serves a geographically limited customer base, local search engine optimisation is a must. Build landing pages for each of your physical locations, enhance your Google My Business profile, and solicit reviews from your neighbourhood's finest. By optimising local search, you can attract customers who are looking for products in your area.
10. Monitor and Analyze Performance:
Use Google Analytics and Search Console on a regular basis to track your website's success. Check your keyword rankings, bounce rates, and conversion rates, among other important indicators. If you have a firm grasp of these KPIs, you'll be in a better position to monitor progress and make adjustments to your eCommerce SEO strategy as needed.
Final Thoughts:
Improving your eCommerce website's exposure and rating in search engines relies heavily on your use of efficient SEO tactics. You can greatly increase your chances of success in the competitive eCommerce landscape by conducting extensive keyword research, optimising product pages, focusing on site speed and mobile responsiveness, leveraging rich snippets, creating valuable content, optimising for voice search, using user-generated content, improving site architecture, optimising for local SEO, and continuously monitoring performance. In order to stay ahead of the competition and draw a consistent stream of organic visitors to your online store, you need to be proactive and adapt to changing SEO trends. Launch your dream online store - Partner with Nivida Web Solutions - the most distinguished eCommerce development company in Gujarat, India.

EMEA SEO EXPERT: DIGITAL MARKETING in EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA
PREDRAG PETROVIC
WHO IS THE BEST EMEA SEO EXPERT?
Determining the "best" EMEA SEO expert is extremely difficult, if not impossible, due to the subjective nature of expertise and a diverse landscape of talented professionals across the region. Instead of seeking a single “best” expert, it's more helpful to consider factors that resonate with your specific needs and identify individuals or agencies that excel in those areas. Here are some factors to consider:
Specialization:
Industry focus: Do you need someone with deep expertise in your specific industry or niche? Some experts specialize in areas like healthcare, eCommerce, B2B, or finance.
Technical skills: Are you looking for someone with advanced technical knowledge of SEO, or someone who prioritizes content and user experience? Some experts specialize in areas like technical SEO, on-page optimization, or link building.
Language expertise: Do you require an expert who understands your target languages and the cultural nuances of different EMEA markets?
Track record and experience:
Case studies and client testimonials: Look for evidence of past successes in similar projects or campaigns within your industry.
Industry awards and recognition: Awards like Moz Top 100 or Search Engine Journal Heroes of SEO can be indicators of expertise.
Years of experience and proven results: While experience doesn't guarantee success, it usually translates into a deeper understanding of SEO strategies and best practices.
Communication and transparency:
Do they actively listen to your needs and understand your goals?
Can they communicate complex SEO concepts in a clear and understandable way?
Do they provide regular progress reports and keep you informed about their strategies?
Here are some resources that can help you find qualified SEO experts in your area:
Clutch: Provides reviews and ratings for B2B service providers, including SEO agencies.
Upwork: A platform where you can find freelance SEO experts with varying skillsets and price points.
Moz Local Search Ranking Factors: Moz's guide to local SEO factors highlights agencies well-regarded in specific regions.
Industry publications and conferences: Many SEO publications feature lists of top experts or host conferences where you can meet potential partners.
The "best" EMEA SEO expert for you is ultimately the one who best understands your unique needs and delivers the results you're looking for. Focus on identifying experts with relevant skills, experience, and a clear communication style, and build a trusted partnership for long-term success.

SSL Certificates are an essential part of running a website in the age of digital transformation. A secure website is an essential part of any organisation’s online presence. SSL Certificates are an essential part of running a website in the age of digital transformation. A secure website is an essential part of any organisation’s online presence. Users are becoming more aware of cyber threats and will only trust websites that take security seriously. SSL certificates are a trusted way to show users that your site is safe to use. In this article, we’ll explain what an SSL certificate is and why you need one for your business. We’ll also highlight the ten best SSL certificates for your business in 2022. What is an SSL Certificate? SSL stands for “Secure Sockets Layer” which is a standard for secure communication over a network. SSL certificates are digital certificates that use encryption to secure websites and web services. An SSL certificate ensures that sensitive information like usernames, passwords, and financial data are kept private during transmission. SSL certificates use a public key and a private key to encrypt data. The public key is used to encrypt data, and the private key is used to decrypt data. If a website has HTTPS instead of HTTP, it means the site uses an SSL certificate. Let’s Encrypt is a free and open certificate authority (CA) that issues SSL certificates for websites. If you have ever used a website that starts with “https”, you have used an SSL certificate. It's a lesser known fact that in 2015, SSL was actually retired from use, in favour of a new protocol: TLS. The different types of SSL Certificate. What is the difference between TLS and SSL Certificates? SSL and TLS are both cryptographic protocols that enable secure communication between two parties. The main difference between SSL and TLS is that SSL is a predecessor of TLS and is less secure than TLS. TLS uses asymmetric encryption to provide confidentiality protection and integrity protection to the communications. This means that each party has a public and private key pair, and all data transmitted is encrypted using the public key. Additionally, all data received is verified using the private key. SSL uses symmetric encryption to protect the confidentiality of a message being transmitted across a network. The message is encrypted using a single key that both the sending party and the receiving party possess. Such is the brand recognition of SSL though, they still continue to be referred to as SSL Certificates to this day. So that's what everybody still calls them. Why do you need an SSL certificate? Your users’ trust is vital to your website’s success. One of the best ways to build trust is to ensure that all data is encrypted when it is transmitted. SSL certificates do this by using a public key to encrypt the data. The data is decrypted using a private key that only your website has access to. When a visitor browses your website, they can be assured that their data is secure. SSL certificates also help with your SEO. Google has stated that websites with HTTPS will rank higher in search results. This is especially important for eCommerce sites since a higher SEO ranking means more sales.
