Vivimos en un mundo globalizado y hay que decirlo “capitalista”, donde las grandes empresas buscan vender sus productos la mayor cantidad de veces posible en dónde pocas veces se piensa en el beneficio del planeta y sus habitantes.
Sin embargo, nosotros también participamos de este proceso ¿Has ido a consumir al mall o las multitiendas? Esta la forma más común de involucrarnos. Los comerciales suelen estar impregnados de publicidad llamativa que busca persuadirnos a consumir productos y servicios. En caso de contar con dinero la impulsividad podría llevarnos a comprar lo primero que vemos, sin pensar si es algo necesario en nuestras vidas o no, pasando por alto la huella de carbono y el microaporte al bienestar del planeta.
¿Alguna vez has contado cuánta publicidad consumes en el día a dia? En la televisión o por publicidad web vemos comerciales de los últimos modelos de celulares que cada año son más “avanzados” mientras los otros van quedando atrás con sus actualizaciones, la tecnología hoy en día es efímera y cada día vemos innovaciones que superan exponencialmente a las anteriores.
La nueva forma de consumir se basa en comprar, usar y desechar, algo lineal, donde no existe la reparación de los dispositivos o el reciclaje de éstos, o bien es muy poco común sobre todo en nuestro país Chilito.
Sin embargo hoy queremos generar conciencia acerca de “El consumo de la información” ¿Cuántas horas pasas al teléfono? ¿Consideras el hecho que cada vez que usas tu teléfono para navegar estás sumando haciendo trabajar un servidor termina sumándose a la huella de carbono?
En Internet tenemos a nuestro alcance toda la información que necesitamos, también en redes sociales hay muchísima información la que probablemente estemos consumiendo a lo largo del día ¿Has estado en la mesa almorzando junto a tu familia y todos están pegados en el celular? ¿Qué hay en las redes sociales que es más importante que compartir con tu propia familia? ¿Por qué crees que el celular con acceso a internet influye en el desapego emocional hacia otras personas?
La manera de consumir nos ha entregado una mutación, se comienza a hablar sobre la adicción al celular y las consecuencias que trae en las nuevas generaciones, especialmente en niños. Aún no sabemos la magnitud de la gravedad que tiene el uso de redes sociales intensivo. La generación Z, son los primeros que pasaron su infancia con acceso a móvil con Internet y se ha visto un incremento en la tasa de frustración, ansiedad, y depresión ¿Cuál crees que sea la relación entre adicción al dispositivo móvil y malestar psicoemocional? ¿Te imaginas cuáles serán las consecuencias del uso de redes sociales desde tan temprana edad? ¿Crees que hoy en día somos más consumistas gracias a la tecnología?
