If Post-COIE/Pre-Zero Hour Batman found a broken time travel device, re-made it, traveled through the time stream to a few minutes before his parents were murdered, stopped Chill from killing them by violently punching the thug, but not killing him, went back to the time stream before he vanishes and ended up in a different present time line than the one he'd existed in (with another Bruce there), what would the Dark Knight do next? Btw, this scenario takes place shortly after Batman: Year One.

Watch his parents die as an adult instead, if it's the new timeline created by stopping Chill. His family line is cursed thanks to him, remember, and curses cannot be dodged so easily.

Before we argue the pre vs post and whether or not that would negate the curse, the curse has always been on the Wayne bloodline ever since Anna put it there, regardless of whether or not Bruce had gone back in time yet. Considering the rule of paradoxes, he's already gone back in time because he always will do it/has done it/is destined to do it.

Now in the event that he jumped to a different timeline entirely; if it's year one Batman and current Batman Year One Batman would absolutely try to punch him in the face.

He would lose, of course, but he would try.

After that, Year One Batman...hmm.....

I dunno. I don't really like him, so I never really got into his story. When people tell me year one, I tend to think irl chronologically. But like, legit "Year One" Batman was way too edgelord for me.

I think Jason would love to have a go at him, though.

Only one person may hold the crown of supreme edgelord, after all.

guys i am watching the sandman at a frustratingly slow pace because my parents Insisted we watch it together and they only watch a maximum of two consecutive episodes of tv an evening and no tv during the day... all this to say I only just finished episode 6 and after seeing many posts about Death and Hob I have to say this episode was highly anticipated for me and it was just. so good.  I loved it so much the relationship between Dream and Death is so sweet and iconic and very comfortingly sibling-y.  I love how she’s looking out for him after seeing him sitting there, feeding birds like a loser, moping like a sad puppy, waiting for something to do.  He looks so pathetic and she comes up and just like effectively slaps him up and down and it’s fantastic.  And it’s so weird to see him looking all emo just walking through the park like a normal person even though he’s so lanky and angsty it’s adorable.  

And the whole bestie-ship with Hob I CANT.  Dream in 1389 is like peak goth it’s everything and the way he slowly opens up and acknowledges Hob for who he is and reveals more about himself.  I know this has been said before, but it is so true that that half of the episode had exactly the same energy as Aziraphale and Crowley through the centuries in ep 3 of Good Omens.  And when Hob is finally like “i think we’re homies now, aren’t we like I know you like me.” and Dream is like “how dare you suggest i have feelings i am a god i am edgy i am angsty i don’t need friends bye bye we’re broken up now” it’s like major oof but then i was absolutely heatbroken for Hob when Dream didn’t show up the next time because he was literally still in captivity but he didn’t know that he thought they just weren’t friends anymore it was very sad.  And then after talking to death when Dream comes back and sees Hob and smiles so genuinely and so soft.  ugh i loved it.

The Vagrant shifts uncomfortably; fingers idly tightening the wrappings around his left wrist from beneath his cloak. He was never good with this sort of thing. Receiving thanks. It made him feel... awkward; uncomfortable. He wasn't used to it. He didn't really want it. He didn't feel he deserved it.

The man presses his lips together tightly from beneath his mask, glancing off to the side at the remains of the entity that now lay in ashes. "I was only doing what was necessary." he simply says, all but brushing the other off. Then after a few moments of silence, he stills-- gaze still off to the side-- to the creature. He sighs a little, then speaks again. Quieter this time. More solemnly. "... Things like that should not be allowed to exist."

Here they are! The two edgelords you've all been waiting for, Re-verse Kagami and Luka

I had a lot of different interpretations of these two, but the one I ended up settling on is them as villains. They're the current Dragon and Snake miraculous holders and they've been working for the Supreme longer than Marinette and Adrien (hence the even more pronounced scars on their faces). They were Marinette and Adrien's superiors and trained them when they first joined, and they would also be Shadybug and Claw Noir's replacements after the two of them left.

Kagami's family has been involved with the Supreme for centuries, so her mom has been training her since birth to be the next Dragon user. Since she was basically raised by the Supreme and an even more controlling version of Tomoe, this version of Kagami is way more cold and calculated. She usually doesn't speak more words than she absolutely has to.

Luka was approached by the Supreme in a similar way to Marinette. He was at a lowpoint in his life and they took advantage of that. In this universe, he lives with Jagged, while Juleka lives with Anarka. They know about their parents divorce and of each other's existence, but they almost never see each other. Juleka has no idea about all the sketchy stuff her brother is up to. Personality-wise, he's very slimy and manipulative... snakelike even

I was debating whether I should post these along with their transformed designs, or seperately, but Evil!Viperion is taking forever to draw, so I'll probably post those later this week when they're done. I also need names for Evil Ryuko and Evil Viperion, so if you have any ideas, please tell me!

Kodaka April Fools tweets 2024

Lying just because it's April Fools' is so dull. Honestly painful to watch. Lying in general doesn't do you any good. In my younger days, I told every lie I could, saying some genuinely insane stuff about being a supreme leader of evil and whatnot, and thanks to that, now that I'm in my thirties, I got famous for all the wrong reasons and can't find a stable job because people think I'm associated with the yakuza... Sigh, I wanna deck my cringe younger self's face. Quit lying for fun while you can.

My classmates aren't doing great either. Thinking you're hot shit during your school days always comes back to bite you... My advice to my past self: slow and steady effort is worth more than any talent. Also, the part of life you spent larping with that silly horse laugh is not going to be one you'll want to remember later. I wish I could make that clear to him. White lies aren't a thing. Talent is never enough. My class is proof of that. Wanna know what my classmates are like now that we're in our thirties?

Akamatsu became a piano teacher. Her player skills capped off in her teens, it seems. But she's not that good at teaching so she's considered kinda mid at her job. And now she's struggling with the father of a student incessantly hitting on her. Tough world to live in.

Toujou opened a housekeeping company but she was too strict with her employees so everyone quit. And now she's doing everything on her own. Sucks to be in your thirties without any successors or employees. She's a prime example of how being so much better than anyone else doesn't do you any good. Well, she's always working for celebrities, so she's doing well financially, but I heard about some major court fight about a missing item under suspicion of theft from one of her clients. That can't be nice.

Yumeno got to her thirties still saying magic is real, so she's past the point of no return. She agrees that's an unhinged way to live, but she's too old to suddenly change gimmicks. Work takes her all over the country, but her gimmick doesn't allow her to publicly drink, so she has to get plastered alone in her hotel room after shows. I wish she could fix her life with real magic.

Harukawa? ...Haven't heard that name in a long time. Now she was a living edgy fantasy. The past tense was because I hadn't heard of her in a long time. I don't know the details, but apparently, she went to some war zone outside of Japan because her first love didn't want to date her. Takes some real edgelord to react to a broken heart like that, but if she's still alive, I have no idea how her thirties are treating her. My personal guess is that she's a mother of many.

Chabashira opened her Aikido school but is having a hard time attracting students. So she had the idea of starting an anti-sexual-harassment campaign that could double as advertisement, but thanks to her cluelessness when it comes to romance, she got canceled for mistakenly tossing men in regular couples. She's still doing the "degenerate males" bit in her thirties. Girl really needs to get on with the times. Rumor goes that she still downs huge packs of tequila bottles with Yumeno every now and then. Really don't think there's any salvaging her reputation.

Shirogane is an office lady still continuing her cosplay hobby on the side. She could be doing well if she knew how to keep her mouth shut but frequently rambles about cosplay history and etiquette, so no one likes having her around. Stay emotionally dependent on a single hobby long enough and your passion starts to close you off to others. That's her problem.

Angie was the most successful in the class! She made big money both on the art and the religion fronts. However, there were some controversies about her devotees selling counterfeits of her paintings at exorbitant prices and one magazine made a huge news coverage of it, which resulted in her catching the police's attention. She's been recently untraceable, with the rumors saying that she'll never be back to Japan.

Oh, and Iruma... Up until some point, she had the best life of all of us. She made big money off of her inventions' patents. So far so good. Things only started going off-rails after she married an ex-stripper. The two started a YouTube channel together. And later, her husband ran in last year's elections and lost big time. They got an awful debt from his election campaign and she had to get into side jobs to pay it off. And her husband? Disappeared. No word from Iruma herself about what happened. Tough world to live in.

No further updates from Kodaka in the past 3 hours, so I assume he went to sleep and will come back to tweet about the 7 remaining boys in the morning.
