#Encourage folkes to live their truth but don't shame them for being afraid

Hey y'all! Just a reminder- This October 11th is National Coming Out Day. 💜💙💚💛❤

I know it really doesn't seem like it sometimes but We've seen a great deal of progress as a society, all around. Gender Identity and sexuality are a positive part of popular discussion now in SO many ways that even just ten or twenty years ago there were completely taboo to even mention. Now, in many places, LGBTQ folkes are being acknowledged and even respected as who and what they are, often with protection from discrimination by a mandate from the populace. ☺

Still, in many places, this is sadly NOT the case. Around the world, in practically every country LGBTQ persons are discriminated against in horrible ways, denied basic human rights, harassed and subject to acts of physical violence, criminal and capital punishment, often with the support of their own government and at the hands of their own families. 💔

This coming out day, if you're ready to step into the light and live your authentic, genuine existence or just explore the idea of who you feel you might be, I'm there for ya. However, if you're not ready or if your environment is not a safe place to do so for threat of harm to you and\or loved ones, your secret is safe with me. I will guard that closet door for you tooth and nail for as long as you need.

Just remember- You Are Not "Wrong" and You Are Not Alone. 💓🌈💓
