In this video Doctor Mike spoke about different sicknesses, the principal problem that generate these sicknesses is stress, Doctor Mike spoke that the body is a system and the people have to understand that, and this way maybe avoid being continuously ill.

MY HEALTHY NIGHT TIME ROUTINE
In this video Dr. Mike shares his routine at night, which is everything he has do from the moment I arrived at his house until the moment he went to sleep.
The routine he does is the following: 1.- Fitness time: Exercise before going to rest, helps you sleep faster and obtain a better quality of sleep. 2.- Dinner: After going to the gym I like to dinner, but they should spend at least 2 or 3 hours before going to bed, because if we eat right before going to sleep, our body begins to create gastric acid. 3.- Take your dog for a walk 4.- Planning of next day: Relieves your anxiety and helps you to go to sleep peacefully. 5. Brush your teeth: You should brush your teeth for at least 2 minutes and floss. 6.- Cleaning the face 7. Watch TV: Normally look for a series or movie in Netflix.

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DOG FT. ROXY
In this video Dr. Mike tells us that the most important person in his life, is not a person, it is his dog named Roxy. It's a big part of his life and his dad's life.
So, in this video he shows us how he trained Roxy so we can use his tips to train our dogs. The tips are the next:
1.- It is important to establish yourself as the alpha in the relationship. 2.- We must first enter a place before our dog. 3.- Eat before the dog does it. 4.- The basic orders to teach him immediately are: -Sit down -Lie down -Walk next to me -Stay still -Leave it alone 5.- Always reward the dog by giving him a prize or congratulating him. 6.-The orders to act in a lovely way: -Get the leg -Play dead -Hug -Speak -Search

AMAZING MEDICAL MISSION TRIP TO El SALVADOR
Dr. Mike traveled to El Salvador to start a program of clinics like the United States.
The first day he arrived to El Salvador he realized that the people were very friendly. Afterwards, he went to visit the Americares clinic and when he arrived at the hospital he could see that the nurses, doctors, receptionists and all the staff were wearing a white coat.
There is a lot of poverty due to gang problems, corruption, history, earthquakes. All this caused thousands of people to become homeless; and that is why most people are in poverty.
Dr. Mike started an exercise program and some patients had knee problems, artitris, among others, and wondered how they could perform those exercises. In the end, the patients were happy and excited.
By doing this program we can improve the course of different lives, analyze different treatments of diseases, deliver medicines.
Doctors worked with help from Dr. Mike, but he needed a translator because he did not speak Spanish very well.

HOW TO GET A SUMMER BODY
In this video Dr. Mike tells us that people are excited for the summer, but they are not happy about the way they look this summer.
So, he made a list of easy steps that people can perform get the ideal summer body.
The steps are the following:
1.- Sleep: It is one of the most important aspects, not only to be healthy but also in good physical condition. While we sleep our muscles recover, the metabolism is energized again, and the mind refreshes.
2.- Fuel up: Dying of hunger is not the right decision because the brain will lower the metabolism. We should be smart when choosing meals, because if we eat a lot of salt we will have fluid retention. If we do not drink water our skin will look dry.
3.- Hydrate: We must eliminate soft drinks, alcohol, and just drink water.
4. Dress to fool: Clothing is the best ally because it accentuates our strong sides and hides the weak.
5. Burn calories on the go: If we have to go somewhere close, we must go walking. If it is further we should go by bicycle. We should not use the car much.

Are vitamins fake news?
Today Dr. Mike talks about a theme is passionate for him and they are vitamins.
He talks about vitamins because there is a lot of false information about them. So that, in this video he speaks only of 2 vitamins that have caused much controversy.
But, what are vitamins? They are nutrients found in foods, which allow the body to function properly and also helps growth.
There are 2 types of vitamins: -Fat soluble vitamins: They are the vitamins D, E, K and A -Water soluble vitamins: They are B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12 and C
Vitamin D is considered the miraculous pill, but currently the only evidence that exists sample that for a healthy person, there is no benefit.
Vitamin B12 is a supplement that many doctors are recommending for fatigue and losing weight, but this is not true. Only 1% of the population has vitamin B12 deficiency.

How drugs work: Hip-Hop Edition
Dr. Mike talks in this video about drugs, which is an important theme and of great impact.
Hip-Hop artists have made references to drugs, the main drug is cocaine, after marijuana, narcotics and pain pills. These substances are a big problem for the United States, because the consumption of these drugs have been increasing over years. This causes many people to die a year from a drug overdose.
The analgesics are serious for the body, for example "Percot" is an analgesic for serious pain and is totally addictive.
The drug "Molly" damages the central nervous system, because it makes the person feel europhic and hallucinating because it stimulates the brain.
The "Serotonin" causes the body to start shakingand become stiff.
The "Alprazolam" is used for anxiety but it is very addictive.
People are self-medicated with "Xanax" to treat anxiety, depression or sleep problems, but it is not a good idea because it can cause blurred vision, weakness and difficulty breathing.
The theme of this video was very important and interesting.

My morning routine / Dr. Mike
The video today talks about morning routine of the Dr. Mike. This routine helps you prepare for a hectic day at the hospital. He hopes that we'll find some tips that we can integrate into our morning routine.
The first thing he likes to do when he opens your eyes is to drink a glass with hot water and lemon.
The hot water allows our system digestive to improve circulation and be ready for start the day.
Lemon contains two nutrients, potassium and vitamin C.
The second thing he does is make his bed. It is a small task but the brain loves achieving large or small goals.
The third thing he does is take a bathe for 10 seconds with cold water because boosts testosterone, improves circulation, fights colds and wake up better that caffeine.
Another important part of your routine is to do 5 minutes of warm-up to move his body.
His favorite part of the routine is to go for a walk with your dog.
Finally, he takes breakfast before going to hospital. He recommends breakfast eggs, bread and oat.

What I actually eat in a day
In the today video, Dr. Mike talk about the what eats on a day. This video he does because in comments the people showed interest nutritional for his food.
He says what his food is not homemade or luxury, but is nutritious and it's enjoyable.
He starts to engrave the video early, because he goes works at hospital and he says will be a day long, but weather is fabulous.
Breakfast is one of his favorites, he did bread toast with avocado and smoked salmon. For him breakfast is the most important food of the day, but don't all world have appetite to that hour, however with breakfast we received a lot of benefits for health, for example puts metabolism to work and burns calories.
In the lunch time it's necessary a snack, and Dr. Mike recommends a nutritious bar, because it contains protein.
For the food suggests a dish with chicken or meat, beans, rice, sauce and cheese.
Again, for the lunch he eats carrots and walnuts.
Finally, for dinner he eats sushi because it gives him proteins.
For last, he recommends eat with moderation for maintain good health.

How to study effectively : Simple exam tips
In this blog I will talk about the tips that Dr. Mike gives about how to study effectively for an exam and so get best grade.
Tips are the next:
1.- We must start to study for an exam the before possible and so get good results.
2.- The study sessions must be of 30 minutes with a break 5 minutes.
3.- Don't study a before exam day.
4.- Analyze if it works better to study on morning, afternoon or evening, and then make a calendar to remember the study time.
5.- Find a place for study. Don't study in bed.
6.- Eliminate distractions like cell phone and music. Otherwise we lose concentration.
7.- Understand information.
8.- Imagine the questions that maybe can be on the exam.
9.- Ask questions for solve doubts.
10.- Sleep early.
11.- Do exercise to keep your brains alert.
Finally, we must not forget that what can work for some, for others not.

In this video Dr. mike, talks about that our body reflect symptom or visual signs when we have a disease. Therefore, must we go the doctor for discard or treat any disease.
He have reason in say that when body presents any imperfection, we blame aging or stress, and in reality don't is for those reasons. This imperfections are signals advertence.
Visual signs that most attracted my attention are: -Rosacea: The face looks enough red. However, don't is a danger for health and can be treat by a doctor. -Sleep apnea: It can develop heart diseases and high bood pressure. This disease produces that the respiratory tract be closed when the person is sleep. -Halitosis: The person has bad breath and is signal of have acid reflux. -Moles: Not all are evil, but some can cause skin cancer.
Finally, the Dr. Mike tells us that when we go to the doctor must tell the symptoms that we have.
