Affection isn't his favorite form of showing love. He usually likes to spend time with you even if you both are doing different things, as long as yall are in the same room, he is satisfied. Although, if you are super affectionate, he won't mind it at all. He will tease you a little but finds it cute.

I can't really understand what the creators of danganronpa thought of Sakura. The way they treat her is so bizarre.

On one hand, she's one of the kindest, most compassionate, most mature, most selfless characters in dr1. Her plot line is truly moving. Her romance friendship with Hina is really cute.

On the other hand, a ton of characters make comments/jokes about her appearance, and none of these are addressed as wrong. Hell, even in dr2 they managed to make fun of her appearance with that "ogre" statue.
