do you think emet and koto would have wine dates together? (emet looks like a red wine kind of guy tbh; haven't played ffxiv but he feels like that on design vibe)

I'm glad you also sense his wine aunt potential! I personally have this hc that wine was pretty popular with the ancients bc idk all the like Greek god influence and such just makes me think yeah those were people who appreciated a fine wine! One of my ancient characters is actually named and based on Dionysus who was known for making wine so I might be biased since he's part of my story LOL but anyway yeah I think wine reminds emet of better days! Even if the alcohol doesn't do anything for him it's just comforting. Tho now that ppl aren't immortal they rarely let wine age past a hundred years or so which probs leaves him with a yearning for something better 😔 he probs takes bottles of wine he sees potential in and stores them in the rift to try and get a longer age on them tbh

So yeah I can totally see him rolling up to the inn room with a bottle and preparing dinner for K'oto (and him when K'oto convinces him to eat too) making sure the meal suits the wine and just. Enjoying it with him 🥹 k'otos not very cultured booze is booze to him but I think if he saw emet looking displeased or disappointed in how he was drinking it or describing it he would take the time to learn how to properly enjoy it from him 💜❤️
