Ayo wtf??!
I thought this was fake or some fan made game but I'm actually just finding out this is somewhat legit??
How on EARTH-
And "Don't forget the straight man" 😭😭😭 lmao which one??!
Okay I'm not even gonna question it at this point 😂 when it comes to them, anything is possible
I swear Horikoshi is about to turn into Scott Cawthon or some sh*t cause there ain't no way these are not hint bombs that they're dropping on us.
Cause you guys remember what Scott did with FNAF? It just started out as a game, but as the story got bigger and bigger and not exactly kid-friendly he instead started dropping hints in other games, books, novels, literally everywhere. And even though technically he "retired" and doesn't really control the content anymore, he still very much has an influence on everything that comes out and everything is still canon to the story even though it's technically not created by Scott Cawthon anymore.
So may I ask...wtf are you doing Horikoshi???
Because most mangas just end when the mangas end right? That's the story. The end. Nothing else to discuss. But like I guess MHA is a special case in every aspect. Maybe Hori is going towards the dropping hints style story, because there were a lot of things left unsolved right? Take Midoriya's Dad as an example. Or the fact that no one became canon, or more like Bkdk didn't become canon. So if we think about it in the Scott Cawthon sense, Scott started dropping hints partly because the content was really not on the PG-13 side anymore. So what if Hori decided not to make Bkdk canon because of the public backlash the manga would get? Cause let's admit it, there would be a LOT of haters if that happened. What if, instead of making them canon, he's just dropping hints now everywhere for us fans to figure it out?
That would be insane, but he wouldn't be the first person to do it. And yes, hints aren't exactly canon, these are all just theories...but they very much might be intentional, and that means something, right?
Anyway, here are some more stuff from the new update:

De..Izuku
Man I love that they added that in there

Mhmmmmmm Suuure

The Hey..Izuku reference 😭😭😭 stop, you're hurting my heart

WE'RE A TEAM I CAN'T-

Man I love how they're both so utterly hopeless when it comes to being romantic

This feels like that scene from that one Memories episode..
Also I have a feeling if these two ever went on a date they'd just be training together 😭 and that would be the most romantic sh*t we'd ever see from them

hi anon!! i actually do know artemis, we're good friends actually. and yes, of course i can
ꗃ when they debuted they all had one bedroom together with two sets of bunk beds, but early jan 2022 they moved dorms, so now y/n and fae share and kiollo share
ꗃ kio and y/n are big fans of markiplier and coryxkenshin
ꗃ kio and fae know how to skate board
ꗃ one episode of their show 'elysian up!' fae taught y/n how to figure skate(well, failed bc y/n sucks) and y/n taught fae how to do a setters dump
ꗃ all of them are big fans of anime; apollo's fav movie is a silent voice, kio thinks sk8 the infinity is really good, fae loves komi can't communicate, and y/n loves bnha & haikyuu(very on the nose)
ꗃ they go out to eat once a week on saturdays, and on sundays they have dinner with ateez (kq family bonding time)
ꗃ everytime its time for a comeback, fae and y/n hid the scissors from the stylists (they dont want to lose kiollo's amazing hair length)
ꗃ y/n is really close with jake from enhypen, mainly because they grew up in the same area of australia
ꗃ kio and fae did a chairty stream where they played fnaf security breach
ꗃ they once got on vlive and read their fanfiction for an hour (their manager wasnt with them once and they forget how to act🙄 /j)
ꗃ they all trained together for a year and a half before debut and during that time fae had a very long pjo phase(love you fae, me too 🫶🏾)
ꗃ they play just dance on mondays before lunch time
ꗃ apollo learned how to braid so he could help fae and y/n and kio with their hair.
ꗃ apollo and ningning dated for like three months before they decided to just be friends
ꗃ fae cannot, without fail, open a candy packet. it will either not open completely or go everywhere
ꗃ : ˖ ۫ ◖ 𓂃 mo's interlude :: i hope this is what you meant anonnie!! thank you for requesting this, it was quite fun

Mandela Catalogue and the horror of not knowing 'why'
I'm gonna preface this by saying I impulsively scrawled this down on a whim- this is clumsy and prolly full of grammar mistakes. Sorry about that :/
I honestly have never encountered an analogue horror series that had an impact on me like Mandela Catalogue.
I'm a bit of an avid horror fan, so I am a little desensitised to the tropes, the scares and the stories. I think horror is actually quite a hard genre to write because it's very easy to fall into the formulaic way of doing things and also difficult to create a compelling story with the right amount of twists and turns, plus you're doing all this while also trying to actually scare people. Horror always seeks to make impact and because it's frantically firing rounds here, there and everywhere, it's really hard to hit the target.
This is where the Mandela Catalogue comes in... but I'll take a quick side to talk about another horror franchise so we can get a better idea of what the hell I'm getting at lol.
When the first FNAF game came out, I was enthralled by the horrific idea of dead children haunting animatronic suits, aimlessly wandering about in hopes of getting their revenge on their killer. The subject of the Purple Guy was such a massive topic way back when, that it was hard to avoid the character. Best of all though, it was hard to work out why he did it. Why did he commit such a heinous crime? What was he getting out of it? We didn't even know his name, let alone his personality, his reasoning or his face.
The mystery of 'why' was the biggest piece missing from the puzzle, teasing us at what we didn't know. And to add salt to the wound, what we didn't know outweighed what we did. 'Why were things they way they were? Why did the Purple Guy do what he did?' was what certainly frightened me back then.
An unanswered question is something I'll always find more terrifying. As humans, I think we're constantly wanting to rationalise everything- it's just who we are, we like explaining things away. So when someone or something commits an action out of the norm with no particular explanation, it frightens us.
'Why' is what made FNAF scary. And explaining that 'why' so elaborately has taken some of that horror away. Now, I'm still invested in FNAF and will always be happy to engage with new instalments, works and whatnot, but unfortunately, I'm not enjoying it as much as I used to because things have become so convoluted and entwined. Putting names to faces, family troubles and sci-fi concepts like Remnant, have kind of taken that grounded-horror-feel away from the original franchise. Now, that's not to say FNAF is a shadow of its former self, I just personally am not as into it as I once was, and I think that's because of the lack of mystery. I'm no longer asking 'why'. I'm more of just staring at the screen with knitted eyebrows as I wonder how the hell Fazbear Entertainment hasn't gone under already at this rate of innumerable scandals attributed to its name... maybe that company is just as stubborn as Afton, who knows.
Mandela Catalogue on the other hand, has exploited our fear of the unknown excellently. I am genuinely terrified of the main antagonist of this series, a.k.a Satan (though it is up for debate as to whether he is Satan, an alien or even fallen Gabriel but I'll be going along the lines that he's the devil).
Satan has always been a fascinating concept to me, partly because I've always been intrigued by the idea of something so ungodly even its own creator isn't really sure what to do with him, but also because we don't really know his whole story. Satan is hardly mentioned in the Bible, he's kind of elaborated on in other scriptures but again, not much is known about him other than that he's the bad guy and he's not gonna win in the end because no one can withstand the might of God.
Mandela Catalogue, uses that fear of unequivocal evil compounded with mystery to make Satan terrifying. What I love about the series is we don't see much of Satan and we don't know why the fuck he's doing what he's doing.
All we know us that he's executing his plan and we're bearing the brunt of it. And that's frightening on an existential level.
He knows what's going on, he's doing whatever he's doing, he knows why he's doing it and we don't.
That's how you do horror like this. You don't tell your audience 'why'.
Now, we can try to give some reasoning, using reference to previous depictions of Satan and also the Bible itself to suggest that maybe he's taking revenge on God, or maybe that he wants to be God, or that perhaps he's jealous that Jesus is the new favourite and lashing out at him, but we can't definitively take these reasons as gospel (pardon the pun :P).
That's what's so scary, we don't know why, we can't explain this and because we can't explain this... we can't predict, we can't prepare and we can't understand.
Mandela Catalogue exploits our need for reason to create a villain so terrifying that he hardly ever needs to show up- we can just behold his work and dread.

I like how I'm seeing more people being critical of the FNAF franchise and even saying it's okay to be that way. It was annoying that our love for the series was (probably still is by certain fans) being put into question just because we're not wearing rose tinted glasses and acting like the series is perfect.
I think we're starting to see a shift because people can no longer ignore certain problems with how fnaf is being handled nowadays, from the crappy merch to Security Breach still proving itself to be not great even with all the patches.
"How can you like FNAF and hate (insert reason here)?"
You see, there's this thing called nuance and it's everywhere. Not everything is black and white, and that includes our ability to enjoy stuff and how we enjoy it

I know this was already answered in the replies, but I've been in this fandom since the start, so I'm gonna pull out my FNAF veterans card and elaborate for newer fans who are curious.
So why back in the earliest days of the fandom, when FNAF was at the peak of its initial popularity, there was a user called Rebornica. Now, Rebornica ended up being a whole drama-filled can of worms, but I'm not gonna go into that. All you need to know is that they had a FNAF AU, which was their take on the lore, and starred their personal interpretation of the game's characters, mainly the night guards. They frequently drew art and comics for it, and it became very popular. Anyway, FNAF 2 comes out and we're first introduced to William Afton... except he didn't have a name yet so we all just called him Purple Guy. Since no one knew anything about him at the time outside of him being the killer, he was essentially a blank slate for anyone to interpret as they pleased, which is what Rebornica did when they added him to their AU, giving him his own design and name. And thus, Vincent was born.
The bitch in question
Personality wise, I don't actually remember too much abt him, except that he was obsessed with toast, and had a one-sided infatuation with Phone Guy. Iirc, the fact that he's a child murderer was rarely addressed, and when it was it was usually (but not always) done as a joke about his love of violence. Overall, he was portrayed as a young guy who's funny, sometimes relatable, likes to mess with his co-workers... and also just happens to like killing ppl because he's crazy I guess?? That, combined with his design, caused fans to quickly latch onto him. People started adopting the name Vincent for their own versions of Purple Guy, sometimes even giving them similar designs. It got to the point that some people thought Vincent was Purple Guy's canon name.
And then there were the The Simps. The Vincent simps were everywhere. I see all this simping for Sun and Moon in the current fandom, but honestly it's been pretty tame compared to the sheer amount of T H I R S T that people had for Vincent. Iirc, Rebornica themselves kind of started going in that direction at first, but it soon got very weird and uncomfortable. Not only did Vincent fangirls start sending Rebornica these creepy and sexual messages directed at the character, but smth similar happened to another Tumblr user who was a voice actor. He had his own Vincent impression and took requests to quote lines some of Rebornica's comics and whatnot. Then the fans started trying to get him to say some really nasty and inappropriate stuff as Vincent. Yeah, it was bad.
This, combined with drama Rebornica got into around this time and some other reasons I don't remember, caused them to jump ship from the FNAF fandom completely sometime right before FNAF 3 came out. They even went as far as to delete their blog to purge their FNAF AU completely, but by that point Vincent was a huge part of FNAF fanon. I remember even after William's name was finally revealed, some people still insisted on calling him Vincent, and he still has quite a few fans to this day. Even though Rebornica deleted all their FNAF stuff, you can still find comic dubs of their AU on YouTube
I saw the sexyman posts yesterday, and I have to know. Do you know about the FNAF one, Vincent?
Vincent? Nope, who's that?
#The fact newer FNAF fans don't know who Vincent is proves that nature is healing#Also I saw a post mentioning how Moon and Vincent are kind of similar and... I mean they aren't wrong???#They kinda have the same vibes going on#Five Nights At Freddy's#Long post
