Took a trip to Boston and since I got back I started what will likely be my very last Fallout 4 playthrough. I'm playing with mods, so I didn't have to play through the intro and am able to truly roleplay her with her own story...

Before the war, Juno was a therapist. It was a quiet life: she always made sure to follow all of the rules, she constantly studied and made sure to do her job well, and she was extra careful that she never caused trouble for anyone. She did everything right and she earned her spot in the blissful suburbs of what would become Sanctuary.

Of course, when the bombs fell, there was not even an itch of concern for Juno. Her spot in the vaults was secured long ago when she filled out her paperwork the instant the Vault-Tec representative knocked on her door. The sudden cryogenic freeze definitely came as a bit of a surprise however...

After rising into the wasteland, Juno has completely failed to adjust. There are no rules to follow, no societal values to uphold, and no slots to fit into. There's no sense of purpose-- at least that Juno can see. Sure she can make attempts to "do what's right," but what does that leave her with? A few extra caps maybe? Another couple of settlers safe for the night? Unless of course another group of raiders rolls over the hill before sunrise, which is always a possibility. With the dangers endless and chaos so rampent what's even the point anymore?

Juno sure doesn't know. So she's latched onto to this missing child, the baby that she watched be kidnapped while briefly unfrozen back in the Vault. As long as she keeps searching for this child, she has at least some sense of purpose. It may be a flimsy excuse to keep on living in this Wasteland, but hey, at least there's *a* reason.

So until she finds that kid, she's just going to keep doing what she can to do good. Which is quite difficult for Juno seeing as there are no books or guides on how to be a good person in the post-apocalypse. But she'll keep at it. Wrecklessly, and almost always in such a way that it looks like she's trying to catch bullets with her teeth. But at least she's trying.
