In all of Moldaver’s scenes she showed how much she cared about others. She gave Cooper the incentive to question his wife, she took Rose n her small children to a safe location, she spoke to Max with kindness even as his brotherhood destroyed her home and she was dying!!!

Also genuinely where the fuck was she supposed to raise Lucy and Norm? Shady Sands was destroyed?? At least in the vaults they had clean clothes, food, shelter, and the idea of safety!!

Also the whole “she didn’t really love Rose” thing makes zero sense to me. Rose was a ghoul, when we see her she’s practically a corpse. She was probably turning from the very beginning, Moldaver kept her chained up because she knew what happens to ghouls!!!

Selfish? yes!! but it’s because she didn’t have the heart to kill the woman she loved?? like ugh it pisses me off so much how she’s painted as some asshole. she had a lot of love and care and her entire life was spent selflessly guiding others to seek the truth and question higher powers??

Moldaver was a loving woman and genuinely so aggravated at her being painted as some cruel asshole.

I'm really excited for the season 2 happening in New Vegas, but I seriously hope they don't make a canon version of The Courier, ideally I'd want any mention of them either completely omitted or vague, I just would like the magic of making your own Courier to still be there when playing New Vegas

FALLOUT (2024—) 1.08 'The Beginning'

One thing I don't like about the Fallout show is that they confirmed that all ghouls turn feral overtime. Something that was first introduced as a bigoted belief of the residents of Tenpenny Tower and the BoS in Fallout 3 to have an excuse not to let ghouls live there and live at all respectively. It was up to the player to decide if that was true or if that was simply people hating on ghouls. We never saw a ghoul turning feral, and most of the pre-war ghouls don't spend their time selling Vault Dwellers for a vial of Anti-Feral Potion (trademark pending). And if you want to argue that it's the radiation that destroys a ghoul's brain and that Cooper is using some sort of modified RadAway, then you would be saying that radiation levels are so high that a ghoul couldn't last long time before going feral, and Cooper had to be sidetracked by bullshit to make sure he restocked after losing his vials in the Gulper fight. That doesn't sound like "Just one generation away from Reclamation Day" levels of radiation that Hank promises.

Also, the jumpsuits being in the colours of Cooper's iconic costume also pisses me off. It's one of those "Why? Why not!" Things that don't really need an explanation. I headcanoned that it was because if the Enclave was to raid a Vault, the bright colours of the jumpsuits would make it harder for the Dwellers to hide under desks or other dark spots.

Alright, that's my 1:30 am angry rant over.

I hope when Hank gets to New Vegas, he'll be greeted by a very disgruntled mailman, their army of tvs with wheels, their whiskey wife racking a shotgun with murderous intent, their beeping son, a SECOND ghoul cowboy, a grandma, an even more disgruntled NCR cueball, a fucked-up dog who is a very good boy with a dog-wife and litter of even gooder boys and girls, a lesbian that really loves fisting, and a gay doctor that wants nothing to do with this.
