1. Who or what got you into F1?

I don’t actually have a good answer for this - but my family have always watched it and then one random Sunday my brain just went ‘you like this now, it’s about to become your whole personality’

2. Who was the very first F1 driver you supported? Do you support them now? Have your opinions on them differed or stayed the same since then?

Danny Ric ♥️ I do still support him, and my opinion is about the same! He’s just a silly goofy guy

3. Who’s your current favourite F1 driver?

Daniel but Alex is also up there. While Daniel was gone for the start of the season, Alex worked his way up to the top but DR will always have a special place in my heart

4. Is there a driver pairing or pairings you support? What made you attracted to that pairing in the first place?

Max and Daniel are one of my fave pairs cus they’re so silly together. Yuki and Pierre too. And underrated especially as they’re both gone now but I will always have a soft spot for Kimi and Antonio.

5. Do your parents, siblings or relatives have a favourite team and/or favourite driver(s)?

I’m in a Merc supporting family, Lewis is the fave of my mum and brother, however Fernando is Dad’s.

6. Do you have any favourite races? Are there any that stand out to you the most?

Monza 2019, Monza 2020 and Monza 2021. Just love the feeling those wins give ♥️ also Silverstone ‘23 cus I was there and it’ll always be special

7. Do you have a favourite circuit? Can be from the past or from the current calendar.

If it wasn’t clear from the above, Monza. But I also like Sukuza

8. Have you ever been to an F1 race in real life? Feel free to tell us your experience going to one if you like.

Silverstone last year! Was amazing, the atmosphere when Lando took the lead was unlike anything else I’ve ever experienced.

9. Have you ever met an F1 driver in real life?

I have not :( but also idk if I’d want to, I’m sooo awkward I think I’d leave a terrible impression

10. Do you have a favourite F1 car? If so, what is it?

The 2021 Gulf Livery McLaren and the Alpine car any time it’s pink

11. Do you have a favourite one win wonder?

Estie and Pierre! Estie cus his race was phenomenal and Pierre cus his win was so emotional and deserved

12. Do you have any favourite quotes from the F1 world? This can either be inspirational or hilarious.

I think I have to say Enjoy the Butterflies cus I literally have it permanently inked into my skin!! 🦋

I feel like I‘m the only person being totally entertained by this whole McLaren thing. Like, I don’t even care if there’s going to be a huge change - livery or performance wise. I just love how dramatic they are. All teams should make the off season interesting by being delulu on main, and creating over the top promo videos for unprompted villain eras

I would LOVE if this was more common, I totally agree. I would love Merc to do another meme like last year, or just some video with Toto emerging from the darkness like darth Vader 😂 I would also quite like RB to do a lil reel just massively side eyeing everyone like “bitches y’all really think” in some capacity. I would love it if they all got in on the game.

But of course Zak is the only one willing to really do it 😂 he is not my fave right now because he started a war against AT for no reason, but I do admire him for this little chuckle to pass the time.

Tbh Alpine releasing the teaser of the pepto bismol camouflage is also doing it for me. That team is RIPE for an unprompted one sided beef with the whole grid 😂 make it happen Otm- oh wait who is the TP nowadays

I would like to request Alpine hire Guenther as TP, and then the revenge arc he has against Haas will feed us for a whole year.

Basically if they made F1 like the WWE with fake storylines it would legit slap.

1. Who or what got you into F1?

Basic bitch answer but my dad. He was a big fan, and his dad was a fan. I was plonked infront of the TV to watch it as a kid, and grew up never missing a race. That was until Sky Sports braught it off chanel 4, and now my family can't afford to watch it anymore. I have to pirate it now coz I AINT PAYING 50 A MONTH go fuck yourself Sky Sports.

2.Who was the very first F1 driver you supported? Do you support them now? Have your opinions on them differed or stayed the same since then?

Probably Lewis? Or Jenson? I was (still am) a Mclaren fan as a kid, and my dad always cheered on English drivers, so I just copied him. I still love them both now, my opinions havn't changed on them at all!

3.Who’s your current favourite F1 driver?

Current grid? Probably Max, Fernando or Oscar. They are all so so talented, it's just a pivalidge to watch them drive. I think they're all really funny in their own ways too.

My favourite driver ever? Senna, obviously. Or Prost.... Can't ever pick.

4.Is there a driver pairing or pairings you support? What made you attracted to that pairing in the first place?

I support all and any pairings. F1 RPF in all forms is delicious thankyou. My faves are: Prost X Senna, Carlos X Lando, Max X Charles, Peroni X Villeneuve, George X alex, Mika X Michael, and Nigel X Elio.

The only ship I don't really vibe with is Pierre X Charles? Like idk I just don't feel it. But I'll still read it so lol

5. Do your parents, siblings or relatives have a favourite team and/or favourite driver(s)?

My dad supports Mclaren same as me. My sister isn't really into it? She finds charles hot and will watch edits of him but shes never watched a race or really gives a shit about the actual driving. Shes here for the thirst traps and Ferrari merchandise and I respect that so much.

6. Do you have any favourite races? Are there any that stand out to you the most?

Dallas, Texas 1984. What a fucking shit show. Absolute comedy sketch. Everything about that dumb race is so funny to me.

7. Do you have a favourite circuit? Can be from the past or from the current calendar.

Hungaroing! It was the first F1 race I ever attended, and the joy I get out of watching it and screaming 'IVE BEEN THERE IVE BEEN THERE' never leaves. The first race in person was special, so hungaoring is special now too.

8. Have you ever been to an F1 race in real life? Feel free to tell us your experience going to one if you like

Yes. And I don't know why but I was so shocked at how friendly everyone was. I think I was expecting it to be like football, but everyone got along so well no matter the teams ect. I always get general admission now, because its so much fun to sit and make new friends with other F1 freaks!!! Everyone shares food, alcohol, blankets, brollies ect- its alwaus such a good atmosphere at everywhere I've been.

9. Have you ever met an F1 driver in real life?

Yes. Seb and Jenson. In the same day. I nearly exploded, but actually managed to come off very normal and composed.

10. Do you have a favourite F1 car? If so, what is it?

McLaren MP4/4 1988.

The details, the colours, the absoulte perfection of the livery, and of course the V8 underneath that gave way to MCAREN DOMINATION. Shes perfect.

Rating the F1 2024 Liveries

Because it's the first race weekend of the season and i have opinions.

1. McLaren

I'm biased because this is my fave team, and I do love the orange, but WHERE'S THE BLUE? Last year's blue highlights were so nice, i miss them, so for that it's an 8/10.

2. Haas

Can't go wrong with the usual red/black/white combo ngl. Sleek design, more distinct now that the (ex) Alpha Tauri isn't in the white + black club anymore. Very good very good. 8/10.

3. Ferrari

LOOK AT IT. This what a race car is supposed to look like. It's matte, it's got racing stripes, t's elegant, it's beautiful. Easy 10/10.

4. Red Bull

Better luck next year. 5/10.

5. Sauber

This looks like a 14 year old's gaming setup. Razer ass looking motherfucker. THIS looks like the token energy drink sponsor team. It's incredible. 11/10.

6. RB

It's not bad. It's not good though. I appreciate the fact that it isn't all carbon fibre but that's about it. 6/10

7. Alpine

The pink was your only redeeming quality, lads. The carbon fibre is a crime that cannot be saved by the measly dash of bubblegum you've added. 3/10.

8. Williams

Looks like a Williams. 4/10.

9. Mercedes

I can appreciate the mercedes silver, and the teal highlights never go amiss. It looks mean, as it should. Villain car 7/10.

10. Aston Martin

Was green before Sauber but wasn't ever any good at it. Still it manages to look nice and clean in a pleasing way. Boring though. 6/10.

1. who or what got you into F1?

first it was my dad who used to watch it when i was around 7-9, but then he stopped and i did too, i only followed a few ppl on social media to kinda keep up, and then my cousin started watching DTS two years ago and she talked about it to me and it made me wanna watch f1 again and my obsession came back even stronger.

2. who was the very first F1 driver you supported? do you support them now? have your opinions on them differed or stayed the same since then?

as a kid i supported sebastian and jenson, and tbh they are still amongst my top favourites. when i started watching f1 again two years ago, i first supported george and charles. charles is still one of my all time favourites, and i still support george just i guess not as much as back then.

3. who’s your current favourite F1 driver?

i can't choose just one, really. right now it's charles, oscar and danny, i think. why does it actually feel a bit wrong to only say three lol

multiple. i love max & daniel, charles & carlos (even their name combined is chaos, what can it be if not fun?), also carlos & lando. i think these pairings work(ed) really well in many aspects. oh and kimi & seb!

well, my dad's been a jenson fan back in the day, now he's supporting lewis and fernando. my cousin is a big ferrari and charles fan!

singapore 23, and also monza 19, monza 20, monza 21. you just gotta love those. and australia 23 bc it was pure chaos lmao

tbh i don't think i have just one fave. i have several that i like a bit more than others, like monaco, monza, baku, but i guess none exceptionally.

nope, never. too broke for that sadly, coming from a broke ass country... i will hopefully attend the hungarian gp though as a volunteer this year!

again, never. (heartbreaking.) hopefully that will change at the prev mentioned hungarian gp this year!

10. do you have a favourite F1 car? if so, what is it?

again, i don't have a favourite, but there are many i like. for example, i liked the red bull fan designed livery in miami 23, and the red and white ferrari livery in las vegas 23.

11. do you have a favourite one win wonder?

pierre and george (and kubica lol gotta love the guy). i literally cried my eyes out when george won in 2022.

12. do you have any favourite quotes from the F1 world? this can either be inspirational or hilarious.

i have so many, serious and funny ones too (mainly funny though). but, if i have to choose, for funny i have to go with "nothing just an inchident on the race" or "what am i now? heavily depressed", and for serious, i will go with my top 3, which are "being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" & "to achieve anything, you must be prepared to dabble on the boundary of disaster" & "you must always strive to be the best, but you must never believe that you are."

but i also gotta mention "one week they love me, one week they hate me, both weeks i get paid" and "i've got balls but none of them are crystal" bc seb is just too funny and i love the guy too much.

and another worthy mention is "he won in spa, he wins in monza" bc i always get goosebumps when i hear it or even think about it.

currently my faves are maya weug (🇳🇱🧡‼️), bianca bustamante and nerea marti (mostly bc my bf and i really love the tommy livery). i also mad respect what doriane pin has done in the past two races (rip to that second win, her team totally fumbled that!)

lola lovinfosse is wild on track, i love it. she makes some bad calls but at least she’s risky. it’s entertaining for sure!

every person in motorsport is controversial. i’m not gonna let that stop me from having my fun. fandom isn’t a morality contest! this is my downtime and i do what i want in it. so, sure, tell me who’s controversial and for what, but i’m not saying i’ll do anything with the info!

So if not the race engineer, you see Laurens as a driver? And where would you put Herc/Laf/James? Tbf, I know next to nothing about Formula 1, aside from two of the DTS seasons I've seen with my roommate and the second hand info I get from her (since she is *obsessed* with that Hamilton), but I'm still super intrigued by this haha

re: laurens - yes! i could see ham and him competing in f3 and/or f2 at the same time, eventually planning to get good enough to get into f1 together. 

depending on where i'd end up with for laurens lafayette would be either tj's or ham's engineer; james - either tj's manager or engineer. (can you tell that a lot of my set up depends on laurens? lol)

as for mulligan i'm honestly not sure because he doesn't seem to fit in anywhere, really. perhaps in livery? outfitting? 

i think dts is a good way to get into it, especially if you're "only" here for the behind the scenes politics and less interested in 'fast car go vroom', so you're good anon! (and that hamilton is also my fave haha)

Mario Andretti gave an interview where he complained about the treatment from F1 and the teams

Ceva Logistics and Ferrari extended their partnership together with a multi-year contract (the French company will not just supply SF but also their GT division and Ferrari Challenge)

Ollie Bearman becomes Ferrari's reserve driver for 2024 (because both Shwartzman and Giovinazzi are in WEC and that may clash with F1 duties)

Arthur Leclerc becomes Ferrari's development driver (like Antonio Fuoco) to race in Italian GT

both of mentioned (with F1 drivers) are currently testing Pirelli tyres in Barcelona on f1-75 these days (29th-31st)

Lando gave an interview concerning his extension with McLaren and mentioned a lot of stuff about Red Bull including information about being in talks with them and saying going against Max wouldn't be smartest idea (and there has been a lot of discussion against his mentality for not wanting to go against a champion when others like Charles or Lewis did it)

Seb Vettel will appear as a speaker at Nutanix in Barcelona in May

Ayao Komatsu (Haas team principal) openly said he expects them to be last in Bahrain
