Bismillah,
Beberapa hari kepala migrain. Puncaknya kemarin pas masuk kerja setelah libur lebaran. Aku berangkat kerja tidak sempat sarapan seperti biasa, hanya makan snack biskuit gula dan air putih, tiba di Rumah sakit lalu 30 menit kemudian perut keroncongan dan pergilah mencari warung makan yang buka. Hanya ada 1 warung makan yang buka, itupun makanannya telah habis. Jadilah makan mie instan gratis buras dan daging hehehe (karena kita kebetulan kenal sama ibu warungnya).
Kupikir memang pengaruh asam lambung yang naik karena lapar yang respon ke otak jadi sakit kepala, tapi ternyata bukan karena itu. Lalu sebelumnya karena datang bulan dan Hbku rendah tapi aku sudah minum Tablet tambah darah (Ferrous fumarate + folid acid) nyatanya tidak pegaruh juga hingga hari ini.
Nah, kurang lebih sejam setelah makan pagi yang telat kemarin itu, kepalaku nyut minta ampun. Aku yang jarang banget istirahat di ruang perawat meski tidak ada pasien, mau tidak mau minta karpet dan bantal sama teman bidan lalu melipir ke ruang bersalin yang lebih luas dan tenang juga ada space dekat lemari BHP buat rebahan. Hasilnya aku tertidur hingga hampir jam pulang wkwkwkw.
Apakah migrainku reda? Tentu tidak, masih terasa tapi tidak sesakit sebelumnya.
Kenapa tidak minum obat, karena aku memang malas minum obat meski anak kesehatan ya hehe. Namun sepertinya aku sudah ditahap harus minum obat karena migrainku masih bertahan hingga aku menulis saat ini.
So praduga ketiga kalinya, apakah minus mataku bertambah atau berkurang?
Harap-harap cemas sih kalau sudah urusan mata, maybe bulan depan harus kontrol lagi. Terakhir tahun lalu seingatku sekalian ganti lensa kacamataku kala itu.
Maunya sih minusnya turun, aamiin. Ngarep banget lah.

Executive dysfunction has been slapping as of late and I know it's a result of the three days I went without vit c (wasn't absorbing my iron tabs hohohooo yes I'm still very much anaemic and omg Sunday was so fucking hard to get through with all the aches and fatigue). The congestion is also really not fucken helping. Been worst past days too and it ends up becoming primary focus and slows down everything I try to do.
It's been spicy ramen after ramen after ramen. When I say I am slurping that soup.
Still wanna increase my vit c intake more.
I was first given ferrous fumarate November 2019. I did stop taking em for a good while. About 2021/22 I was struggling with fatigue and the like and all but forgotten that I had ever been on em in the first place.
I've actually been back on em for a while now. Most of this year at last (if not longer, my time blindness really is masterful).
Typically you're on em 3 to 6 months to restore your iron deposits and you should be good to go. Well those three days where I wasn't getting the iron have told me that there is no way in hell I am gonna be coming off these any time soon.
Beginning to wonder if I'll ever be able to tbh.
Only learned yday that the muscle pain is a result of lack of oxygen which DUH and omg yeah. Of all the tabs I take daily, these would be the ones that would most immobilise me if they were taken away.
I'd legitimately forgotten what it felt like to live with iron levels that low. And I just got the reminder that it's fucking awful. Me and iron are besties now.
