search(me|us) (2024)

A meditation on the logic of searching, on memory as an infinite loop, on the recursive nature of nostalgia in digital space. The interface of the self is written in code, fragments of longing parsed through syntax, attempts at retrieval caught in an endless function.

Each line of text exists like a command prompt. Surrounded by a grid of screenshots the image becomes a collage of digital ephemera, where lost data and lost time blur into one.

Here's what we found with a quick search:

It seems like all of these processes in the computer are don't under the Local Machine registry tree.

You know what that means?

DARNOLD AND COOMER BOTH HAVE AUTHORITY OVER THE COMPUTER.

THEY'RE BOTH THE ADMINS.

Which is fucking WEIRD, because Coomer is the Internal Clock, apparently, and Darnold is "filenotfound" like what the fuck does THAT mean.

The steamships do let out steam when they’re blushing!! They also get a lil warm.

The more modern ones that mostly run on diesel don’t let out steam when blushing--- if they do, it’s usually very little or almost unnoticeable
