The final and most important part of skydiving is the landing! After the freefall and canopy ride, a skydiver needs to accurately prepare and execute the landing procedure. There is little room for error.

SAMHAIN / DANZIG. I've always seen the first Danzig album as a Samhain record, in a way. Call me wrong and that's okay but I have cause to back this theory up. Samhain - Final Descent (Plan 9 / Caroline Records 1987) is a compilation record released to replace the cancelled Samhain record, 'Grim'. The songs featured on Final Descent are tracks recorded for 'Grim'. The first pressing of Final Descent also featured the rerecording of the Unholy Passion EP. When Final Descent was rereleased in 2001 through Evilive and E-magine Entertainment the Unholy Passion EP was removed from the end of the album and 4 extra demo songs were added. These songs were "Twist Of Cain", "Lords Of The Left Hand 2nd Version", "Trouble" and "Possession". Aside from the Elvis cover, "Trouble" and the alternative version of "Lords Of The Left Hand", the tracks "Twist Of Cain" and "Possession" were demo tracks that ultimately were chosen to be recorded for the first Danzig album, Danzig- Danzig (aka Danzig 1). Between Final Descent and Danzig 1 there was a demo for the upcoming album known as the 'Danzig 1987 Demo'. This demo featured the same two previous demos aswell as "Trouble", "When Death Had No Name", "Waiting On The Summer" and "Night Of Hate". During these demos John Christ joined Samhain after leaving guitar solos on Danzig's answer phone, proving he was right for the position. Also, it because of Rick Rubin that Glenn Danzig changed the band name from Samhain to Danzig. so i never got into the LOST hype but i know it was super popular while it was airing!! and honestly it’s a pretty cool idea for an rpg, because you have the limits of the island and the potential of your members to fuel you. this also allows for a limited cast while also allowing everyone to bring something cool to the table. i can’t wait to see what kind of events y’all end up having!! good luck!!

Here's a comparison between the two Final Descent CD releases. First of all the original pressing was released via Plan 9 in 1990 and second, Evilive/E-magine Records in 2001. Swipe through the photos and you'll see that the repress features text on over the artwork and a alternative track listing along with different artwork in the lyric booklet and pressed on the CD itself. The repress also features a misprint with the track listing. The track listing on the back listed "Posession" as track 9 and "Lords Of The Left Hand: Second Version is listed as track 7.
