I was almost late today, and I'm never late. I hopped out of my car, checked my phone to verify the time. It was 7:56 A.M., just fourminutes until I would be considered late. Reality struck, and I bolted. My heart raced as I ran to my classroom, constantly checking the time, afraid I'd be even a minute late. However, I managed to get to class with one minute to spare. Hoorah, I made it!

I had a lot of work to do today. I have a report for Math due tomorrow, which is a bit intimidating since I was assigned four topics and given three meetings to discuss them all. As you probably know from my other blog entries, mathematics is definitely not my strong suit. I tend to freak out over the smallest assignments, so I questioned whether I was capable of teaching my classmates the topics. If they don't understand what I'm saying, they're at risk of failing a quiz. So, it was a lot of pressure for me, but I remember a few days ago when my classmate was struggling with their remedial activity. I took it upon myself to teach her how to solve for the answers, and thankfully, she understood everything I explained and finished her activity with time to spare. This moment gave me a bit of confidence that I will be able to rise to the occasion and teach my topics clearly. That sums up the highlights of my day. Wish me luck for my report tomorrow.
