Man one of my friends died today, im legit really sad.

#just for context hes way older than me and used to work a tiny shop near my uni #and p often me and my other friends would go there and chat with him #he was the sweetest old man ever #last chirstmas i gave him a lil gift basket #and first day back of uni he waited me on the shop door just to thank me and gift me a keychain #im really sad i couldnt go to the funeral #since ykanow we were friends but its not like i ever met his family or anything #we only got to know cause we saw a sign explaining it in the front of the shop #man. im sad.#death tw

people will say "cats will eat you after you die" as if thats a bad thing. i mean, feeding a hungry cat seems like a nice thing really

by the way, dogs will do this too. it is not an expression of heartlessness, it is merely animal hunger

anyways at least the body would serve a purpose rather than being sealed in a box in the ground

#yes i still believe in respecting dead bodies #my mum was made to look pretty for being put in a casket #i picked out her make-up. they brushed her hair. the church provided pretty white clothes #all for the sake of our odd human psychology #it would feel... wrong otherwise #i think my logic is... yes my mum isn't within that meat anymore. but she spent her whole life in it #so it's respectful for make it presentable #it wasn't even an open casket funeral - that would have cost 500 dollars extra for some fucking reason #anyways. if for nothing else: mum valued her appearance and it had made her sad that her sickness withered her away #so it felt extra right to give her nice make-up and pretty hair #we left her earrings on too. they were a gift from me anyways #return the silver to the earth. why not. also it's just easier to leave 'em in her ears #the coroner apparently struggled to get her ring off. but he managed and im wearing it now #this all has nothing to do with the post. im just. yeah

Scream Factory has revealed the specs for its Funeral Home Blu-ray. Originally due out on January 30, it will now be released on February 6. The 1980 Canadian slasher film is also known as Cries in the Night.

William Fruet (Killer Party) directs from a script by Ida Nelson. Lesleh Donaldson, Kay Hawtrey, Jack Van Evera, Alf Humphreys, and Harvey Atkin star. Mark Irwin (Scream, The Fly) serves as director of photography.

did you all know zhongli is like a master craftsman? he has made numerous weapons specifically the golden and jade liyue weapon series? we know that jade cutter was intended to be a gift for someone but its implied he used it himself cause he was unable to gift it anyway i like to headcanon if zhongli really likes someone he will craft them something.

During the war it was often weapons like the most beautiful swords and spears forged from gold or purest jade but in more peaceful times he might fashion a golden flower made from pure geo, or spend hours crafting elegant hairpins. Mind you he created the golden house purely from gold because he could.

He understands the nature of stone far better than any human could so making it bend to his whims is rather easy but these days he tries to take the more human-like route when crafting his next gifts.

#zhongli #genshin impact #weapons are his signature but he's trying to diversify #he also really likes food so he will gift food #so yeah his love language is gift giving #zhongli: take this sword i made it for you *it is the most beautiful weapon you have ever laid eyes on*#i think its interesting in many of the liyue weapons they describe them as covered in blood and war #but even then they still shine brightly and beautiful #if he wasnt working at the funeral parlor he would be excellent at forging weapons #but his weapons are probably too powerful to be left in human hands lol

I have a policy about spoilers.

I figure: However artistic it may be, fiction—novels, TV, films, podcasts, you name it—is meant to decrease stress in your life, not increase it. So once it hits the threshold of causing more stress than it relieves—it’s time to look up a spoiler.

The policy crosses genre, mediums, types of stress… Sometimes, it’s “does x die from this,” and sometimes, it’s “does y forgive her friend.” But usually, I have to get a certain amount of invested before I care enough to trip the rule.

Tonight, Hacks finally got me.
