istg i don't want to make it all about götzeus here (in a fucking year of 2024) but genuinely speaking that marco really don't deserved all the unfortunes he got throughout his career....and i really wanted to see him at least got a big title in black and yellow because of this.....

Julian Brandt is the son of Marco Reus, but the question arises: who is his other father? Götze (gÖtzeus), Kroos (Kreus), Lewandowski ( Leweus) or maybe someone else's. 👱‍♂️👶🏼❓

Yesss!!! Jule is definitely Marco’s son, as evidenced by the father-son bonding time pictured below:

But I agree, determining his other dad is an entirely different kind of dilemma.

*Full disclosure, I will be leaning into my shipping biases heavily here*

I think it’s important for me to mention here that Leweus was my first Marco Reus ship, and probably still my favorite. However, as much as it pains me to say, I don’t think Lewy is Jule’s dad. I think that honor falls to the one, the only, Mario Götze.

Why, you may ask?

Well, it’s based purely on vibes.

Let’s consider the superficial. First and foremost, they have a very similar face structure.

Their smiles even resemble one another

And their fashion senses are similarly classic and understated

And of course, last but not least, there’s the fact that Julian is himself an outspoken Götzeus shipper

I think we can all agree though that most of Jule’s personality (especially his goofy side) came from Marco and from spending so much time around him. Not to mention, that platinum blonde hair had to come from somewhere 😂 but at least as far as Jule’s other parent goes, I think it has to be Mario. Case closed.

“I helped,” said Thomas.

“No you didn’t,” Robert said immediately.

“Yes I did, I made a circle -”

Robert sighed. “That does not count as helping.”

“I made a circle of rocks around it,” Thomas went on, ignoring him, “so it looks like a proper, actual campfire, instead of a… you know, an accident.”

“It does not look like an accident -”

“You look like an accident,” Thomas muttered.

He hates that they don’t even need to name Mario, that he’s just him, an eternal Him, like he’s some sort of imperial entity, and not just Marco’s ex-boyfriend – if that’s even what he is. Because they were never really boyfriends, exactly. They never got that far. And yet they were so much more than that.

And yet here he was, left alone minding the table with nothing and no one but a half-full glass of flat Estrella for company, waiting for Ferran, Ansu and Pedri to come back with their next round of drinks. He just never fucking learned.

Thomas knew more about the personnel and the goings-on of the Polish national team than he did about his own.
