Hi Moral Orel fandom, me again! The episode “Help” kept playing in my head all day so here’s some random headcanons I came up with for Bloberta’s side of the family, the Hymentact’s-

-Lunchbox, the youngest child was basically the “Shapey” to Bloberta’s “Orel” growing up (just a tad… “calmer” lol); essentially being kind of a bratty nuisance who liked to tattletale on Bloberta for the littlest things. Deep down, Lunchbox actually did care about her though, feeling guilty that she got married to Clay so quickly and then just… never came back home. Currently living with his wife and 2+ children away from Moralton, still hoping to reconnect with his sister someday outside of sending holiday cards/rare letters here and there.

-Modella, the oldest Hymentact child is actually the only daughter born between Raymond and his wife. Much like Bloberta and her own marital life, the couple had many problems from the getco… and to cope, Raymond couldn’t help finding comfort elsewhere at one point with an old college sweetheart (which ofc, resulted in Bloberta’s conception). Out of spite (esp with Raymond taking in the girl once her mom died from childbirth), Mrs. Hymentact had her own affair with some rando from their church, resulting in Lunchbox’s birth a lil while later. From there, Raymond was forced to stay submissive under his wife’s thumb while she doted all her attention on the family choir + Modella & Lunchbox, leaving Bloberta out of most everything growing up.

-In terms of Modella’s relationship with Bloberta, things were… well, always pretty distant between them. While not an outright bully or annoying like her mom & brother were, Modella was very much the golden child who couldn’t help staying passive in their family drama to not “rock the boat”. To this day she remains unmarried (+also a closeted lesbian), and is currently taking care of her now-elderly mother by herself, occasionally teaching Sunday school/choir practice on weekends (mainly by her mom’s request). Still unsure of how to approach Bloberta nowadays, who’s got no interest on her end to amend things (let alone with their banshee-of-a-mother still being in the picture).

-As far as Raymond goes, he has sadly passed away by this point in time… with Bloberta carrying on his memory through singing more freely whenever the mood strikes. While Orel may not remember, he actually met his maternal grandfather once as a baby (in the one rare moment Raymond was able to break free from his wife’s choir), and in Bloberta’s eyes (+to her relief) becomes a spitting image of the man once Orel’s an adult.

Dholera will offer 360-degree connectivity via Air, Road, Rail and Sea.
