Every time the betrayer gods get brought up in C3 (which is tons with the Applebee's soulcycle), I always have a brief moment of pause about whether I side with Bells Hells on being all 'Betrayer gods are bad!'

Because at the end of Episode 2 of Calamity, Brennan did that incredible monologue (You know the one... "AND THEY CALLED US BETRAYERS?!" the one Zerxus was like kinda horny about) and gave such an evocative performance in that scene that he made me legit feel sorry for The Literal Lord of The Hells.

Then, of course, I quickly remember how in E4 that Same Fuckin Guy just like basically froze time so he could get off on flaying Zerxus alive a few times to watch him die over and over, bc He's The Literal Lord of The Hells. (Spoilers: Brennan was the betrayer the whole time!)

And I go 'Yeah, actually, no, you're right gang. Betrayer gods are bad, carry on'
