Textbooks - Tips & Tricks

DO NOT buy your textbooks prior to the first week of class unless stated so by the professors, even then wait until after the first day of class.

Please don’t go to the bookstore until you go to class.

For that matter, don’t buy anything from the bookstore unless you have to. We mean it. The markup is ridiculous. 

For buying or selling, start with Facebook or Reddit. 

Sell to other students before you go through buyback. The bookstore offers the cheapest buy back and fuck over next semesters students.

You can purchase eCodes/Mastering Access/whatever they call them, online from the publishers, then buy the used book from a student.

Looseleaf books have no resell value with the school.

Some teachers allow old editions, just ask or wait.
