No, my beloved. I must apologize to your sensibilities, but I find them ugly. Actual, real scanlines on older systems are beautiful and angelic. But trying to replicate that by just putting a filter over an HD game in the 2020s is pure folly.

I’m not gonna get emotionally attached but I did really enjoy watching them play Split Fiction. I am definitely not a gamer but I do appreciate any game that when I watch makes me think “hmmm i wish i could try playing that” (even though I Do Not have the skills to do so). Also it looks very cool.
