आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव में गाँधी जयन्ती की पूर्व संध्या पर राष्ट्रपिता को नमन करते हुए वेंक्टेश्वरा समूह के मेरठ एवं गजरौला परिसर में आयोजित हुए आधा दर्जन कार्यक्रम।

“जीवन को हाँ-ड्रग्स को ना” विषय पर अन्तरविभागीय वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता।

उप्र शासन के आबकारी विभाग के साथ मिलकर नशीली दवाओ के सेवन एवं दुरुपयोग के विरूद्ध जागरुकता रैली निकालकर युवाओ को दिलायी गयी “नशामुक्त भारत” की शपथ।

“क्लीन इण्डिया-ग्रीन इण्डिया” मिशन के तहत संस्थान परिसर एवं आस-पास छायादार पौधे रोपित कर चलाया गया “सघन स्वच्छता अभियान”।

विदेशी उत्पादो विशेष रूप से चीन निर्मित उत्पादो को छोडकर शत्-प्रतिशत स्वदेशी एवं खादी से बने उत्पादो को अपनाने की ली शपथ।

महात्मा गाँधी कोई व्यक्ति नहीं, बल्कि एक राष्ट्रवादी विचारधारा-डॉ सुधीर गिरि, चेयरमैन, वेंक्टेश्वरा समूह।

सत्य एवं अहिंसा के मार्ग चलते हुए जुल्म करने वाले दमनकारी फिरंगियो को कैसे झुकाया जा सकता है, गाँधी जी के अलावा इसका दूसरा उदाहरण देखने को नहीं मिलता- डॉ राजीव त्यागी, प्रतिकुलाधिपति श्री वेंक्टेश्वरा विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान।

आज राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग बाईपास स्थित श्री वेंक्टेश्वरा विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान में आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव में राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गाँधी की जयन्ती की पूर्व संध्या पर समूह के गजरौला एवं मेरठ परिसर में आधा दर्जन से अधिक कार्यक्रम आयोजित करते हुए इस महान राष्ट्रनायक को श्रद्धासुमन अर्पित किये गये। इस अवसर पर उपस्थित युवाओ को “नशामुक्त भारत” की शपथ दिलाते हुए “स्वदेशी” को अपनाने के साथ-2 “क्लीन इण्डिया-ग्रीन इण्डिया” मिशन में अपना प्रभावी योगदान देने की अपील की गयी।

“आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव में गाँधी जयन्ती की पूर्व संध्या पर आयोजित समारोह का शुभारम्भ समूह चेयरमैन डॉ सुधीर गिरि, प्रतिकुलाधिपति डॉ राजीव त्यागी, प्रो पीके भारती, कुलसचिव पीयूष पाण्डे, निदेशक डॉ प्रताप आदि ने गाँधी जी की प्रतिमा के सन्मुख पुष्प अर्पित करके किया।

अपने सम्बोधन में समूह चेयरमैन डॉ सुधीर गिरि ने कहा कि गाँधी कोई व्यक्ति या व्यक्तित्व मात्र नहीं है, गाँधी एक सशक्त राष्ट्रवादी विचारधारा है। राष्ट्रवाद एवं गाँधीवाद एक दूसरे के समपूरक है। गाँधी जी के आदर्शो पर चलकर ही भारत एक शान्ति, सदभाव एवं विश्व बन्धुत्व वाला सशक्त राष्ट्र बनकर एक निर्विवाद वैश्विक लीडर के रूप में उभरा है।

समारोह को प्रतिकुलाधिपति डॉ राजीव त्यागी, कुलपति प्रो पीके भारती, कुलसचिव डॉ पीयूष पाण्डे, मेरठ परिसर निदेशक डॉ प्रताप ने भी सम्बोधित किया।

इस अवसर पर “जीवन को हाँ-ड्रग्स को ना” विषय पर अन्तरविभागीय वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता, वृक्षारोपण, संघन स्वच्छता अभियान, नशे के विरूद्ध जागरूकता रैली, स्वदेशी एवं खादी के शत्-प्रतिशत उपयोग एवं “नशा मुक्त भारत” की शपथ उपस्थित छात्र-छात्राओ एवं स्टॉफ मैम्बर्स को दिलायी गयी।
