चैतन्य भारत न्यूज पिछले काफी समय से बंगाल और ओडिशा इस बात को लेकर आपस में भिड़े थे कि रसगुल्ला आखिर हैं किसका? इसे लेकर दोनों राज्यों के बीच पिछले चार साल से कानूनी जंग चल रही थी जिसे अंत में ओडिशा ने जीत लिया है। अब रसगुल्ला को जीआई टैग के आधार 'ओडिशा रसागोला' के तौर पर जाना जाएगा। Odisha's Rasagola gets Geographical Indication (GI) tag. The name of the Geographical Indication to be read as "Odisha Rasagola" pic.twitter.com/UA7HzzalZ3 — ANI (@ANI) July 29, 2019 जी हां... ओडिशा के रसगुल्ले को आखिरकार जियोग्राफिकल इंडीकेशन टैग (जीआई टैग) मिल गया है। बता दें किसी भी चीज को यह मान्यता भारत सरकार के जीआई रजिस्ट्रेशन विभाग द्वारा दी जाती हैं। रसोगोला काफी पहले से भगवान जगन्नाथ को अर्पित की जाने वाली मिठाईयों में से एक है। यह सैकड़ों साल से राज्य के लोगों की सबसे प्रिय मिठाई भी बनी हुई है। ऐसे में यह स्पष्ट हो जाता है कि ओडिशा का रसगुल्ला यहां की परंपरा और भौगोलिक एवं सांकेतिक पहचान से जुड़ा हुआ है। गौरतलब है कि साल 2017 में जीआई रजिस्ट्रेशन विभाग ने पश्चिम बंगाल को रसगुल्ला के लिए जीआई टैग दे दिया था। इसके अगले ही साल ओडिशा ने इस पर आपत्ति जताते हुए इसके खिलाफ अपील की थी। इस आपत्ति पर विचार करते हुए जीआई रजिस्ट्रेशन विभाग ने ओडिशा को दो महीने का समय दिया था। इन दो महीनों में ओडिशा को रसगुल्ला के आविष्कार और इसे बनाने की विधि से लेकर ��ससे संबंधित तमाम बातों को सबूत सहित पेश करना था और अंत में ओडिशा ने इस लड़ाई में जीत हासिल की। पश्चिम बंगाल सरकार का दावा था कि 1868 में उनके राज्य में नवीनचंद्र दास ने सबसे पहले रसगुल्ले का अविष्कार किया था। वहीं ओडिशा सरकार का दावा था कि पुरी में पहली बार 12वीं शताब्दी में भगवान जगन्नाथ मंदिर में पहली बार यह मिठाई परोसी गई थी। इसलिए यह जगन्नाथ संस्कृति का हिस्सा है। इस आधार पर ओडिशा राज्य के रसगुल्ले को जीआई टैग मिल गया। Read the full article
