The thing is, in Euphoria s2 Cassie could have been a really interesting storyline to watch unfold but it was done really pretty badly. Each episode had the "Sydney Sweeney hardcore crying with her tits out you can use on your pinterest moodboard and your tumblr #girlinterruptedsyndrome posting" moment. And why not but it really felt like empty stylistic choices leading to weird scenes like Cassie doing a villain monologue on stage or trying to keep herself together in front of a mirror... (Like what, that type of scene is usually used to convey a sentiment of being at the limit while trying to keep decorum... Cassie was acting completely wild from the start idk what they're trying to convey here). I think they were just going for a "unhinged female rage pathetic" character trope but the execution was so bad.
