Yesterday, I dreamt of Uzbekistan. I didn't see any of these magnificent architecture, but it was magical enough to feel and know I was there. I could remember every detail, but I think it's meant to be private this time. So... Ulugh Beg Madrasa (Islamic school) stands in the historic centre of Samarkand, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Together with other monuments, it forms the monumental ensemble of Registan, the old heart of the city. It was built between 1417 and 1421 by the then-Timurid governor of Samarkand, Ulugh Beg, Timur's grandson, and prominent astronomer, who was later emperor between 1447 and 1449. My favourite is the last pic. It's one of the entrances. How amazingly meticulous is that work of art?! Uzbekistan is really a magical place. Day 3: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Hop-on, Hop- off bus & the Collosseum.

I wasn't sure how I wanted to spend the day but I knew I'd be up early. I woke up a caught the train to Trevi Fountain to be there by 7.30. I under estermated how busy it would be. Though I knew it would get worse as the day went on. It took around 20 minutes to get there via train. Before coming over I was a bit worried about the public transport system but the people were right, it's easy as (with the helps of Google maps on my phone).

10 minutes walk from Trevi Fountain and I arrived at the Spanish Steps. I spent a while here, the flowers were b-e-a-utiful and there was a bride & groom taking wedding photos which was fun to watch.

Then at 9 o'clock my hop on, hop off bus commence. First stop was the Collosseum. I really regret now not booking in advance some tickets to go inside I thought upon arrival if I decided to go in I will. Turns out everything was completely booked up I'm advance so I couldn't go inside. Either way all is good and I still loved being there!

Next stop was Piazza Venizia. I hadn't actually seen this before, I just decided to get off the bud and go for a stroll and I'm so glad I did. It's free to go inside. I climbed all the marble steps in one way and out another. It had the most spectacle views over Rome and it wasn't as many people here. It was a good work out but my golly was I hot & tired by the end of it. I definitely recommend going here if you have a chance, you only really need 30-60 minutes TOPS!

I then got off at the Vatican stop and started heading my way back to my hotel. My feet were sore, my legs were tired and I had been up fir about 12 hours by this point so I was just ready for bed.

My walk hope was via Castel Sant'Angelo which I cannot stress enough how busy it was. After getting lost with my sore feet I sat down to have some Seafood Spaghetti (which was incredible) and manage to get back to my room before the rain started.

I recommend any seafood pasta in Italy. The ones I had were incredible and they put SO much seafood & mussels in so you really get a bang for your buck. The Prawns here also have SO much flavour, definitely beat any other marinara dish I had beforehand

Which one are you: A) or B)???  A) Says “hell yes” to a canoe race against locals 👍 B) Refuses, hoping to leave with dignity intact 🤣  Throwing it back to the time when I was challenged to a paddling competition by a group of Indigenous women in the Amazon Rainforest. Frankly, this moment in Peru just *seemed* like one of those “hell yes” moments. What better way to break down barriers than by trying something new and laughing in the process?  Plus: I believe that everything in life is *either* a good experience *OR* a good story later... And, in my opinion, this experience became both. 😅
